I thought it was on Dark Side of the Ring when they did the episode on WCW going to North Korea and he got into a dispute with one of the Road Warriors and was going to get even later by stabbing him. Why you would want to stab someone in North Korea is beyond me. They are a lot more strict about such things.

Someone else said it here as well, but yeah, as a former security guard, I can tell you engaging with someone like that is not in your job description. Your first role is as a deterrent, and when that fails, you can try to de-escalate and engage with someone like another civilian would (because that's what you are as a security guard; you have the same powers of arrest and duties to your fellow people as any other civilian), and if THAT fails, you retreat and call in law enforcement. Too many security guards fancy themselves badasses and wannabe cops.

Pocket knife is usually a folding blade. Means Scorpio took the knife out of his pocket, opened it, and then stabbed the guy multiple times. Tough to defend that. It’s all on tape I’m sure.
He better go with the I'm old and had to defend myself. The problem is if you're the only one with the knife it looks like overly aggressive even if it was needed. Being a working wrestler doesn't help him.

I've been to some of those Love's truck stops, now, it's 3:00 in the morning. There are a lot of tired truck drivers in there that have attitudes enough said😮

Security are supposed to De-escalate a situation unless they are physically under threat, they aren't supposed to produce a deadly weapon and start shanking away because someone is being belligerent. "Bouncer" and "Security" I find are often words mixed up with "licensed to assault"

Bit hard to argue self defence by stabbing a guy all over his body over and over. Thats attempted murder as a minimum. On DSOTR, Scorpio said about him wanting to murder Hawk in such a way
Judging by the varying differences in location, it could very well be self defense. It's not like the guy is standing still while Scorpio goes around picking spots. They were probably engaged in a struggle in the ground, wrestling with the knife and Scorpio getting a stab where he can until he stops. People keep fighting on when stabbed.
Most wrestlers are mentally-ill and chose wrestling cause nothing else worked-out.

Except Scorpio is the one who pulled the knife, I know A guy who stabbed a man many many times for the reason you say, he was fighting for his life but that was after wrestling two knives off him , in this situation, Scorpio pulled a knife on an unarmed man and repeatedly stabbed him, perhaps the other guy was the one trying to defend himself from Scorpios knife
@geedee1264 Perhaps. It's all speculative. Guy could have threatened or charged him. Pulling out a knife isn't inherently illegal. I'm just saying it is possible self defense. I would even bet. If scorpio is working security and feels he needs protection, it might be a dangerous spot. I mean a guy lighting up a cigarette in the store is literally asking for trouble. And it's a truck rest stop. Lot's of disgruntled truckers. Last time I was at Love's, I got out the car, some trucker was walking my direction, leaving the store. He walked towards me and said, "they are playing games in there". I didn't know why he felt the need to tell me, so I politely responded "what happened?", and then the dude became irrate, said he was on the phone, started talking mad shit and threatened to break my neck. I coulda very easily landed in a Scorpio situation. Especially when someone threatens to end your life, and you have been there before, you aren't holding back or maintaining a fist fight.
It is Missiouri and it is a truck driver. Odds are he is on speed or something. Adrenaline. He probably wouldn't feel the first few stabs. Maybe it took 4 for the guy to finally get it.
A Security Guard using a knife?
Just saw this guy wrestle about 4-6 months ago. Insane timing!
Lighting a cigarette in a diner, truck stop, or etc. is usually the type of behavior you would see from an intoxicated and confrontational individual. I have seen people do that same thing at least 4-5 different times throughout the years.
Every single time it’s a very intoxicated person trying to pick a fight, and there is always someone who thinks that they’re are going to be the one to put a stop to it. It usually results in a physical confrontation, or an outright fight, and the police always get involved. It almost always results in fines, arrests, and the local courts gaining a bit of revenue! 😂
I walked into a gas station in Louisiana in 2004 and everyone was smoking. I asked the cashier "You can smoke in here" ? She said yes. I was amazed. I'm from Texas. Some places are different. I always keep it moving.

It will end in assault, stabbing, injuries, death, court dates and that stupid person you tried to "fix" will still be stupid and repeat what they did, and now it messed up your day/weeks/months with fines, fees, and court appearances.
Looking at the photo's on TMZ they're pretty horrific. That wasn't just a few wounds either. I can see Scorpio getting several counts of aggravated assault, several counts of assault with a deadly weapon and possibly a count of attempted murder. He could be looking at a long sentence in a Missouri involuntary housing facility.

I've known Scorpio since the day he first trained... Wrestled him dozens and dozens of times! I introduced him to Vader who helped him big time get his career going.. . Sad to see how he wasted himself... he's put a lot of bad info out on tape about his drug use his wanting or going to stab somebody Etc... if he was drug tested after the incident and they pull up some info unfortunately for him he's done! Most states have _indoor smoking bans_ that apply to the majority of all businesses, including gas stations. That being said, 2 Cold Scorpio now has to explain why he pulled a “prison sewing machine-type stabbing” on someone who was smoking indoors. I think that 2 Cold Scorpio’s best defense would be if the video footage shows that the man he stabbed attacked him first.
This absolutely sucks. Scorpio has been such an amazing coach/mentor over the years.

dont know the full story but its going to come down to things like did the other guy have a weapon, when you use something like a knife or a gun you have to be justified that your life is in danger, also don't know the states laws.
