THANK YOU SO MUCH i have to so a 45 in a solo, im a 2nd year, and we also have a parallel in the show earlier, so i kinda blended the 2 a bit and forgot how their not the same soo yeah Thank you so much!!!
I'm happy I was able to help you out! And learning the difference between a 45 and parallel is definitely tricky and I had a hard time with it my 2nd year too, congrats on the solo and good luck at all of your shows ❤
Ive spun two guard season so far (1 fall and 1 winter) and I know how to do 45s and single handed parallels. The fact that I’ve never learned how to do a double handed parallel from that point is kinda terrifying. My coaches (I love them no hate) we’re just like we’re putting 46s in the show and taught us how to do them even before I could do a successful J toss
That happens! Depending on where you spin and your coaches style you'll learn skills of vastly different difficulty at different times and thats okay :) when I teach I usually teach tosses like standard singles or j tosses first and then parallels or 45s because it's usually easier for folks to understand so kudos to you for learning that so soon!
Omg you just calmed my anxiety so much!! My mental block scares me even though I eventually toss it I have to always build my confidence back up
Completely understandable! These tosses are pretty scary early on! I'm glad I was able to help you out alittle bit :)
