Awe... I’m so... Speechless! Thank You! Telling a story without words is what I practiced on this video. I’m getting better at it. Thanks again!
No words for how beautiful the process and end product is...

Thank You Maria! 🤗
So, I am very new at this - in fact, I have not tried this but I have my colors ordered and on their way. HOWEVER, I have no idea what you did to the yarn after you rolled it up and put it in the pan. So, what did you do to set the colors in the yarn. It was beautiful at the end. though
Love this so much, do you put acid the dyes before you paint the yarn?
Good question and I’ll have to answer that in next weeks video. Thanks Elizabeth for watching. Please stay tuned to get the answer and go into more depth on the dyeing process.
@@Uniquesapphire Thanks, I gave this a try this weekend. I'm guessing you used non super wash yarn as my dye didn't soak in all that well right away. Let's just say it was a few messy minutes but worked out in the end. I must have used enough acid in my dye stock since I didn't have bleeding. I'll look forward to learning more from you soon.
To be honest I soak all yarns before I dye them to ensure the dye absorbs evenly. It does not matter if they are superwash or not. Even cotton gets soaked and scoured before any dye. I do hope this helps you out. Glad your few messy moments turned out well.
What type of do you use? Did you steam the yarn after wrapping or microwave? Lovely!!!!
I use professional acid dyes for wool and yes these are steam set after wrapping. The amount of time is dependent on the number of skeins dyed so times vary.
Sorry, from Portugal!😄
