This was so awesome! So challenging and also so fun. Thank you so much for making these videos. Before last week, I hadn’t really tapped since March, and your tutorials have gotten me tapping again. I thank you!!
I am so glad you are tapping again! That's literally why I started these tutorials and rebranded this channel, and I will continue to post tutorials for tap dancers for years to come. I am loving connecting with all of you through youtube!
@@JenneVermes don't know if you saw the update to my comment about the whole song and if it would be something you'd consider? Either way, thanks for this, great fun!
I loved how you took steps I have done for years with the same rhythm- and syncopated them! This song was my recital piece two years ago in my Adult Tap class. In that class, there are adult tappers of all ages and experience levels. We modify as needed. I’m going to work on your version because it will challenge me, and I like a challenge! I would be very interested in getting a peek at your tap notebook. I feel it is very important to write down choreo to help learn it. I have my own method, but am really interested in seeing how others take their tap notes. Thanks so much for your great channel!
I love seeing other people choreograph and make rhythms for the same song! I think this is such an amazing song for an adult tap class because you can play with rhythm a bit more when you have students with mature musical ears :) And yes I always write down my choreography! The trouble I have is relying on the notebook too much when I'm trying to memorize my own dances for a show. lol I'll post a pic of my choreo from the notebook on my instagram soon so you can see it! :)
@@JenneVermes Have you posted your tap notes? I havent been able to find them as yet! LOVE this music & your rhythms. I'm an adult tapper and I'm hoping to challenge myself with your routine.
Thank you! I may continue it, but I won't make a tutorial of it probably. I typically give the first little bit of dances for tutorials, just in case I want to finish the piece and put it in my company's show/repertoire.
If I did continue and taught more, it might be one that I teach live only. Ya know, one day when teaching classes at other studios is a thing again lol
Dear miss Jenne, This tutorial is GREAT!!!! But can you tell me if there is a second part or do you repeat twice this routine? Thank you in advance. Bye bye, Nadia (the Neherlands).
Can you give me some help with toe stands? I keep trying but can’t seem to do it. Any tips or tricks will be very much appreciated! Ive just about got this dance down minus the toe stands :)
I have a tutorial coming out on Toe Stands very soon, so that will help alot! For now, make sure you have your weight in your glutes and quads, not in your feet. And always be in plie when doing toe stands.
Jenne Vermes after 3 days. I’ve got the steps...but I can’t for the life of me do Cincinnati’s that fast (yet). It’s a hot mess. And for real hot because I’m a sweaty one lol. I just need to find a version of the song that is slightly slower and I could rock this!

I just love this song! Could you possibly do an Intermediate version? Your choreography was great, but over my head for now.
Yes! I will put that on the list right away! :)

Jenne Vermes I understand😩! It would be GREAT to see your show, Altho Probably not soon😢! Thank you for your reply!
Me too! I would love to learn the whole song!

This doesn't have a second part, so you could technically repeat it twice if you wanted to keep going.
Glad you liked it!
@@JenneVermes Found the intermediate version. We are now going to do a mix. Thanks for your beautiful routine and help. Nadia, the Netherlands.
I’m a beginner learning this to challenge myself, and so far I am able to keep up!! Thank you so much for this, it’s really helped me!!!😄
I am so glad you were able to tap with this! This is such a hard dance! Awesome!
I was about to do this but my food just finished cooking so I might do it tomorrow instead

I’m gonna attempt. As a beginner lol
I think you'll do (or did if you already learned this by now) fine! Just take it one step (literally) at a time!
