oz turk I haven’t used those racquets before, but I use the Yonex V Core 98 and it’s stable. Switched from a V Core 97 because I felt like I was struggling with my swing and wanted a bit more mobility, which the V Core98 had. I have a feeling the Ezone is just as good as the VC 98. Based on reviews alone the Ezone might be better. Definitely demo them first before committing to buying one.
Good review. Thanks! I've just tried EZ 98+ for about 1h with a ball machine. Loved it. Next for me is to try it in a match. I've never played with XL rackets, only std 27. Amazingly, my one-hand backhand top spin and slice got a lot more pop in them, while the forehand stayed the same and took a bit of time to get used to new hitting zone... The serve was super, it's so much fun to serve with this stick....
Played with the previous version, also very comfortable.. good power and control, and cosmetics. I just cannot get myself to commit to lomger racquets yet and do not want to switch back and forth, as extended raxquets are generally 340 swingweight, sometimes can be tiring after a few hours.. on the string, I love the poly tour strike, comfortable, nice pop and also quite durable, use them full poly or in hybrids.
Sounds like exactly what I felt was missing from the standard EZONE 98 when I did my review. I’ll try to pick one of these up to test as well! Great video!
How does the Ezone 100 play and feel compared to the 100 plus? Pros and Cons? I'm sold on buying the Ezone as my new racquet this year (currently using Babolat Pure Aero - 300 gram). It will be my first Yonex ever! I've never used a plus length racket, but am strongly considering buying one. Thanks in advance for your comments.
In Badminton, Yonex strings have long been the gold standard. Durability, feel, longevity and shock resistance is something that I can vouch for. Have been using these strings on my prostaff 97 for some weeks now. Feels great and is soft on my elbows too.
Hi, like all the videos you’ve downloaded on this channel, and considering my self picking up new stick Ezone 98 am choosing between 305 and 315 ..i would love to play this racket one day. I will share video clips amateur videos only when i have this stick soon..
I just switched from DR98+ to the new 100.+. It me of another racquet I like from a few years ago Yonex Vcore SV 98+ but with a plusher response. I love it!
Nice review ! Could you please compare Babolat Aero 100+ , with Yonex EZ100+ sometime soon .I would like to know if there is a major difference. between them .Greetings from Finland!
Interesting comments about poly tour strike. Here in Europe poly tour pro is a popular soft poly and strike is sightly closer to rpm blast in terms of stiffness and playability. I do think Yonex offer a good range of polys and their reels are keenly priced. They also go very well in yonex frames with a little reduction in cross string tension on older models. Thanks 👍🎾
Have been watching your vids for about 3 months now. Really good and informative info... and a great personality. Where is your shop, and can I get your contact info? Interested in some new sticks. - KC
IMO, Yonex Poly Tour Strike is far more superior to Luxilon ALU Power in both feel and tension maintenance. However, it's also more expensive for that reason.
Hey Tennis Spin. Time for serious business - would you say the 98+ is better than the standard 98. Would love to have a honest playtest comparison as all I hear from TW about the + seems to be marketing hype, as hardly anyone plays with + racquets (I've never quite got on with XL length racquets either)
I'm intrigued by this as well. I like the power of extended racquets but I've always reverted to standard length after a time due to them being more manouverable. Even the Juice Pro I used to own which was 27.25", I eventually cut down to 27". Just seemed more 'normal'. Would like to try one of these extended Yonexes though just to see what they're like compared to the normal version.
CAN you compare the 100 plus to the wilson sw104? Head shapes and how they play ??? Sw104 has a longer head compared to other wilson racquets and yonex just extends the handle
Please allow for the different weights of strings used when comparing Swing Weights ... Not all polys are created equal. Some are denser and hence heavier than others and so will affect your SW.
Totally agree! the difference in SW is pretty uniform(+4-5 kg/cm3) and that could be due to the string , also i think he lists Tennis warehouse's SW readings that are actually averages
Hi. I am playing with Wilson Blade 104 v6. It's also 27.5 inch long. Could you compare it with the yonex 100+ ? I like longer racquets and I am thinking about switching to those.
Hi tennis spin, I currently own a pure strike 98 and a burn 100 uls, but am considering switching to a vcore 98+ or a ezone 98+. thoughts? I am a high school player looking for more power, spin, and plushness. Thanks!
Any thoughts on the Yonex Vcore Pro 100. I would really appreciate your insights. I'm 69 and just taking up tennis. An acquaintance has a new one he wants to sell me. Thanks...
Have you hit with it yet? It’s heavy. It’ll be better for your arm though. Back in the day that was common for kids to start with heavy racquets. More mass behind the ball means less arm injury.
Amazing contents as always! Can you compare ezone 100+, PD plus, and PA plus? Always curious why only Babolat and Yonex can make popular plus version but not so much for other company
Ken Wen Ive hit with the Pure Aero plus and I am currently considering switching to the 100+, the ball just sinks in nicely into the stringbed and is slightly more controllable power. It can at times be frustrating to adjust to it, but if you give yourself 2-3 weeks, you’ll be fine.
Don't different strings have different weight? This would affect static weight, swingweight, balance, etc. I know it would be minimal usually, but an 18L vs a 15 gauge string would be noticeable. This is why I never liked "strung weight" spec.
Yonex racquets are my favorites. Beautiful, elegant design and easy to play with.
Agreed! The quality from what I’ve played with has always been top notch 👌🏻
KomenTennis yea there circular handle is horrible and runs small
Would you take the new ezone100 or the DR100 to a tournament next week???

Bring on the ezone tour when you get in. Please review pros and cons vs standard and plus 98 versions when you can. Thanks
This channel is amazing! Love the videos.
I love my ezone 100 plus, getting to hear it’s such a good racquet makes me feel better about my purchase!

Put Solinco Confidential in my new Ezone 98+ at 49 lbs., amazing, thanks for opening my eyes to Confidential.

How did you go with your choice and how was it compared to the Aero?

Have been using these strings on my prostaff 97 for some weeks now. Feels great and is soft on my elbows too.
Poly pro air is a good one too. I’ve used it on my prestige pros. Your description is spot on.

Another nice informative video, thanks.
I have not played with the new blue ones yet but definitely would like to demo it sometime.
I was so bummed when Dr 98 went off market. I have 3 of them and even now would be hesitant to switch but if I did, i might have to try this plus out.
love the Yonex rackets! Thanks for the video.

Awesome info! Any challenges for one handed backhand players with the extended length?
I play with Ezone 98 previous version , I looking forward to buy 2 of those
Dunlop Plus sign is even more subtle !!
98+ is the racquet of the year.
Made in Japan & NOT China so that alone is a done deal racket in my opinion.
Have been watching your vids for about 3 months now. Really good and informative info... and a great personality. Where is your shop, and can I get your contact info? Interested in some new sticks. - KC
Check out my about page. Thank you for watching.
I'm looking forward to the Tour version. 10g heavier and slightly softer graphite.
Thanks! Great reviews!!
Channel is great. Video is great. 👍
Just a quick tip, make sure eyou put an overgrip as well to check strung specs, when they say strung weight they basically mean with strings and grip
Love the content tho, watch your buds daily

I would personally choose the standard 98. Thank you for watching.
I'm intrigued by this as well. I like the power of extended racquets but I've always reverted to standard length after a time due to them being more manouverable. Thank you, i really like yonex..
Please allow for the different weights of strings used when comparing Swing Weights ... Not all polys are created equal. Some are denser and hence heavier than others and so will affect your SW.
Difference in poly is only a gram or two. Doesn’t affect sw dramatically.
Totally agree! the difference in SW is pretty uniform(+4-5 kg/cm3) and that could be due to the string , also i think he lists Tennis warehouse's SW readings that are actually averages
So informative , Keep up the good work , any chance I can get mail order from you ,
How do these Yonex Plus compare to the Whiteout XTD and Blackout XTD?
Hi. I am playing with Wilson Blade 104 v6. It's also 27.5 inch long. Could you compare it with the yonex 100+ ? I like longer racquets and I am thinking about switching to those.
Would you recommend for tennis elbow sufferers?
Ive used strike for a year and it is my favourite but is not soft! It is a very dead string
"a very dead string" sounds quite negative ... why is it your favorite?
Shouldn’t you check balance on an unstrung racket?
Nice video!! Send a hello to Brazil!!!
I wish I could bring my dr 98 to ur shop so u can make a video on it
Hi tennis spin,
I currently own a pure strike 98 and a burn 100 uls,
but am considering switching to a vcore 98+ or a ezone 98+.
thoughts?
I am a high school player looking for more power, spin, and plushness.
Thanks!
How would you compare the 98 plus to the 98 tour. Would appreciate you help witb this :)
I have been told the yonex rackets have a 7% bigger sweet spot than other rackets because of the patented shape. Is that true?
Id be careful with comparing strung specs because the numbers on tennis warehouse are strung with their own string with its own gauge.
Hi can you tell me about extended length,, if my racquet length is 27 inches and 300 g and i wanna extended to 28.25 inches how much in gram will be ?
How does the new Ezone 98+ compare to the last generation?
What about the exonerated tour?
Any thoughts on the Yonex Vcore Pro 100. I would really appreciate your insights. I'm 69 and just taking up tennis. An acquaintance has a new one he wants to sell me. Thanks...

do you have an online shop my friend?
ProKennex Ki Q15 review ???

Played, tested new 100 3x vs clash and bought it today. Better spin and power and nice pop sound on hard hits!
Nowhere on the racquet does it say ‘plus’. Here it says ‘plus’ 😀
🤣
What tension did you put on on those rackets?
52
No in Eu available 😡😡😁
Is it cold in the shop or are you smuggling peanuts...?
I like it cold and peanuts... Thanks for watching.
Is it cold in there or what?
sometimes I feel you are such a Yonex fan and a Head hater..? or I´m wrong..?
That’s what he has in his shop. The big sellers are what he’s convinced are the best.
Until I see a video of you hitting a ball then you're all talk .
I agree. Careful though with unpopular opinions on his channel. You’ll be run out of town. Lol
