World's BIGGEST collection of autographed MLB ticket stubs (Part 1)

- Hall of Famers, MVPs, All-Stars, Gold Glove winners, and lots of players you probably don't even remember. Welcome to the first installment of my autographed ticket collection!
As I mentioned in the video, these tickets are organized alphabetically by team: Angels, Astros, Athletics, and so on. Tickets, of course, don't come with the players' names printed on them so in order to keep track of who's who (and identify horrendous handwriting years after the fact), I've developed my own special system.
Thanks for watching and make sure to check out the other videos about my autographs . . .

LETS GO IVE BEEN WAITING
The wait is over!
Thank you Zack. You’re the best!! You made my daughters day by doing this video, and pinning her comment.
Remember me from grant the goat I was Haydough guy
Erynn Johnson SAME
@@comericachris7521 Sweet! I'm glad to hear that. Thank you both for watching/being here.
Incredible how you can still asociate the signature to the player it belongs to. I couldnt do that with 95% of the tickets
That's what my computer list is for, but thanks.
Love these videos! Your love, passion, and ORGANIZATION of all things baseball is truly phenomenal. Bats, balls, autographed stubs, hats, shirts, LISTS of games you've attended and what happened in each of the games, etc... I can't get enough! Keep it up, Zack!
Thanks so much. That means a lot to me. I love to document things and keep track of everything in my life -- sometimes just for fun and sometimes because it's extremely useful.
@@zackhample For sure. The organization and documentation is so satisfying haha. You've hooked me with your website, too. I find myself going through random games you've been to and then check the box scores to see which players you saw, who did what and just little things that only baseball die hards love. "YOU SAW CHRIS HAMMOND THROW ONE OF HIS 3 CAREER SHUTOUTS IN 1995!?" (I'm a nerd and I fucking love it.)
13:08 there a signature on the back of the ticket
Can't wait for baseball to start
Matt Antionali has a UA-cam channel
10:25 Matt Antonelli
Matt antonelli!!! That’s awesome u have his auto go watch his UA-cam channel if u haven’t
Cal Ripken Jr. is my all time favorite baseball player too. I've been an Orioles fan since I was 7 years old. My grandfather took me to my 1st Orioles game back in 1989 season at Memorial Stadium. The "Why Not?" season. My first job back in 1999 while still in high school was at Orioles Park at Camden Yards working concession stands. My Aunt Kathy took me to an Atlanta Braves game at Fulton County Stadium (my 2nd game) in 1993 I think. I remember Terry Pendleton hitting a solo shot down the right field line. I'm thankful that I was able to go to those old stadiums. I always wished I could've visited Tiger Stadium. That's my favorite "historic" stadium.
Those are some great memories. Old ballparks were the best.
Pretty cool to see a Matt Antonelli auto in there, considering hes on UA-cam!
Yup! I was glad to see him in there too.
Zack you are my favorite youtuber!!! Will you show top 10 baseball cards?
Thanks! Cool idea.
Thanks for sharing Zack. Another very cool idea I saw for getting autographs was to take a picture of a Major League Baseball on the outfield grass closeup. Then just take that film to Walmart to get several hundred color prints made of that photo and have the players sign the color photo on the balls sweet spot. I believe the photo was 3” x 5 “. Makes them easy to place in a binder for Storage/viewing....
That IS cool.
6:10 it says the price is 0.00
Cool collection Zack! I was surprised to see you have Matt Antonelli. Not sure if you know but he has a UA-cam Channel - Antonelli Baseball - he does all kinds of videos about baseball. He does a lot of Q&A's on playing in the MLB and also insrtructional baseball videos.
I did know about his channel and have watched some of his vids. He seems like a cool guy.
Matt Antonelli is a UA-camr now. He runs a travel ball club and does a lot of interesting videos about his experiences in the majors, minors, and coaching.
I am aware of his UA-cam presence -- he seems like a great guy.
Cool that you have Matt Antonelli. Have you seen his UA-cam channel? He talked about you once in one of his live-streams
Oh yeah? I was not aware that he knew about me.
Finally man! I've been waiting for this one! Awesome collection!
Thanks!
I remember the Marlins and it was crazy how they changed the ballpark in Miami 20+ times. Pro Player Stadium, Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Park, Dolphin Stadium.
Insanity.
If Meatloaf was alive he would of loved your collection. I started autograph tickets when I was at a concert or if on tour I'd have the warm up acts sign my passes. It's a great way to keep as new . What great memories you have there. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool! That was random finding that Montreal ticket stub. It's great that you kept tabs of the autographs. I sometimes forget who signed some of mine.
Thanks! I think you should start keeping a list and maybe also try to figure out some of the old ones.
Thank you zack I have been waiting since last year
The wait is over!
Zack how can I do a watch with zack game I forgot
Before the season starts, can you do a predictions video.
Definitely not. I suck at that, and it doesn't even interest me.
Okay, just was a suggestion. @@zackhample
Yesss I have Been waiting for these!!
The wait is over!
my son watches you every single day and he is so glad that this video was posted (he was waiting so long for this video!!!!!)
Matt Antonelli has a UA-cam channel
All these names you are reading reminiscent of a graduation ceremony.
Ha.
Just started watching your videos recently and wanted to say what an inspiration you are to the younger generations... a true role model!!! Keep up the amazing work Zack!!
Thanks so much!
All those Blue Jays ticket stubs bring me back memories as I went to dozens of games in both exhibitions stadium and skydome up until September of '93. Since then one game in 2007 and my ticket stub looked a lot different than your modern ones and was a premium $50 ticket I bought for $20.
Aww, nice. Glad you enjoyed that.
Finally I've been waiting forever to see you make this video
The wait is over!
"...almost a thousand signed stubs". Watch out, I am only 991 behind you! Great vid Zack! Highlight of the UA-cam day as always.
You might get there someday. Glad you liked the vid.
Your vids are kind of addicting.
This amazing how dedicated you are, I personally want to get into ballhawking. I’m way to busy. I have one of your books, which I recommend ALL of his books to readers. I have a few questions that if you see this, can you answer?
1) What made you want to start ballhawking?
2) What is the average amount of games you go in one year?
3) What is your favorite ticket, design-wise?
You are such an inspiration, and I hope for more videos! :D
Thanks! Hope you find some free time. 1) Seeing fans on TV catching baseballs. 2) About 100 a year for the last eight years. 3) The early Dodger stubs in this vid are so colorful and nice -- love 'em.
Zack Hample Thank you some much, you are amazing:))
4:21 TWO DOLLAR ADMISSION I AM SHOOK
The times they are-a-changin'.
You went to the game and got the autograph from Cal Ripken the day of my birthday but many years before I was born
Nice! Welcome to the world, late-comer. :)
Q & A Zack, would you rather collect 100 baseballs in a game or collect a game used walk off grand slam all star game signed ball by both teams?
Everyone else comment what you would rather have
Granny all the way.
Wow Derrick Turnbow! Great video Zack!
Ha, a blast from the past, right? So many of those.
Oh what I would do to buy a ticket for as low as 2.00$! Super neat to see the prices on these
The Matt Antonelli is pretty cool. He actually has a youtube channel and answers questions about MLB life and such.
I agree.
Yes!! I’ve been waiting for this video! Thank you so much this is great!! Can’t wait for 2019 for you!
:)
Thanks for being great Zach I remember when I met you at yankee stadium!!! I was freaking out
Sweet autos Zack!! Home run king! I lol’d at “To ZACTCH”
Ha, thanks.
Zack Hample Holy crap thanks so much for commenting back! I’m one of your biggest fans! Really loved seeing the older tickets and how they changed over the years and all the players autos! Congrats on an amazing collection! Can’t wait for part 2!! 🔥🙌🏼😎
Zack Hample I’m Thoeye1 on Insta 👍🏼
Zack you should be in the baseball hall of autographs 😁anyway great video👍
Thanks!
Gary Thurman was the first autograph I ever got as a kid!
Nice!
OH MY GOD. Its here! The autograph collection video is finally here!
You know it, baby. And there's more on the way.
Tickets were way cheaper back then
YUP!!
Inflation.
Nice collection zack the man!!!!!! Go Angels
Thank you.
That is my exact birthday 3:14
Dang and its also PI day lol nice!
Zack, you going to the Mexico Series (Reds vs. Cardinals) in April?
No.
TIM SPOONEYBARGER!!! I didn’t see that one coming lol dude pitched for maybe 3 years in early 2000s
Haha, you remember!
In May I went to a Jay's game and got a granderson autograph he is so nice.
He's awesome.
Zack Hample I know right thank you for commenting you are so cool btw nice autos
WELL ITS ABOUT TIME!!!!
do you have any bobbleheads? show us your collection if you do pls
Nah, I only have a few that I plan to give away.
Hey Zack, for that ticket stub of the Expos vs. Pirates game on the 28th of June 1986, that you found and got signed by Jeff Reardon years later, Reardon actually played in that very game, pitched 2.2 hitless innings with 2 SOs and got the save. Good player to get that stub signed by!
Very cool! I'm glad to know that.
This is a SUPER impressive collection!
Thanks!
nice collection mate
Thanks!
ZACK! Glad to see another video, you just made my day!
Yay! Glad to hear that.
I stoped my homework for this..
Hahaha, YASSSSS!!!
Zack Hello Bro ! almost spring trainning i am excited bless u
:)
Not gonna lie I loved hearing some of these obscure names Dasamo Marte, Jesse Litsch, Amaury Telemaco, Peter Bergeron etc.
Well, you're in luck because there are lots more obscure names coming up in the remaining parts of this autograph series.
Zack Hample Hell yeah looking forward to it!!!
Awesome collection Zack! I’m looking forward to part 2!
Thanks!
Awesome video!
Thanks.
HI ZACK, before the baseball season begins, why not go to one NHL hockey game? Like a NY Rangers game at Madison Square Garden, or a NY Islanders game at Barclays Center? If you sit close in any arena, like in the sections 220's and lower in like Madison Square Garden you could get a t shirt for free. They have t-shirt tosses in rangers games at the Garden. I telling you, it would be an excellent idea for you!!!
Sounds fun, but not sure if I have the mental bandwidth for that right now.
I would got a photo book for every team and one person per page with ticket and card etc.
You have the best hobby in the world.
Interesting idea. And thanks. :)
The Expos ticket stubs intrigued me (mostly because I can read them because I took six years of French in school lol). If you can remember, was everything in their ballpark French and not English or was French prioritized? (And as a bonus, did you have a good understanding of French when you were there?)
I know some French and can get by. Everything was in French at the stadium.
Did u notice at 11:17 it's actually Michael Barrett and Jose vidrio is the next one. just had them backwards is all.
Love the collection! Been waiting for this video for ever!! How do you read all those script names so easily?
Toward the beginning, the video shows an electronic list of names in order by team. Not that I'd put it past Zack to actually know all these by sight, but I'd say for something like this he's referring to the laptop offscreen for any he doesn't recognize right away. Watch his right hand, occasionally it goes off screen, that's probably when he's scrolling down the list on the laptop. (Just my theory.)
@@jps8080 You are correct. Sometimes I was scrolling. Sometimes I was tapping the mousepad when the screen dimmed.
That’s so cool how many tickets you have Zack and the autographs on them
Hey Zack, can you show us all of your baseball cards in a video?
I have about 100,000 cards, so no, I can't show them all in one vid. :p
Hey Zack I’m love the NFL so much but I love watching your channel and I do go to some MLB games too I’m a Phillies fan. I’ve only been to one other stadium and that is Fenway Park.
Thanks for watching. Hope you make it to lots more games.
I Got Mike Trout and shohei ohtanis aato in one spring training game
spencer15premier im jealous
Wow part 1
Hey Zach you are the goat. I am not sure if you remember me but I am the kid who was talking to you, outside the gates of the home run derby. But just keep making great content
Next up? Collection of baseball oddities you have collected.
Hmm, interesting.
The first I ever got was Gary winthorpe
Q&A part 16 can you rank all the times you caught a players first career home run
Cool idea. Maybe I'll make that a separate vid.
That vlad Guerro signature is so awesome. I hope you got his sons also buy now. I’m watching this in 8/25/2020
If only they had electronic scanners back in the 90s, all the tickets should be intact with the stubs.
I got Dwight Gooden yesterday.
Would love to see a lineup cards video as well as more commemorative videos!!
Okay, cool.
I'm a cardinals fan any thought on the 2019 season with the Goldy trade?
They're gonna be goooood.
Zack are you going to Red sox vs Astros on May 18? Because I am and its at fenway park and im sitting in the green monster!
Fun! But I have no idea at this point.
9:23 i was at that game and the dbacks blew a 3-1 lead in the ninth :(
That Jose Vidro 11:17 autograph looks like Frank Thomas' autograph...nice video Zack!
For your Q&A 16, on your compiled stats, do you have the W-L record of home team for all the games you've attended? (by team or stadium...runs scored avg)
Thanks but nope, I don't keep track of that.
Awesome video been waiting for this
Thanks!
Been watching football 3 years love the vids bro
Thanks!
Lol this kind of crazy organization only happens during offseason
Correct.
I am a huge cubs fan and I am going to a game this may and I was wondering how and the best way to get them
Get autographs? I'm not a Cubs autograph expert, clearly.
Just autographs in general
How do you know all of their names just from the signature?
I type them into my laptop after each game. That's how I remember.
Zack was the Cabrera one when he was from Miami Marlins or the current team with Detroit Tigers? I heard Cabrera but didn’t pay attention for which team my badlol
Marlins.
They were the Florida Marlins when Cabrera was there.
Beckett or PSA/DNA would be awesome because they’ll put your favourites in a hard case so they’re protected from the elements.
I would say these are protected since I have them in a closed shoebox on a dark, dry shelf.
@@zackhample Wouldn't being exposed to the air expedite the fading of the ink on the ticket as well as the signature itself?
Your sooo cool how your always there at the right place and at the right time
Just been going through your website and saw that you only attended 10 in the 1998 season. I am being nosey but how come so few that year? Did you go travelling or something?
I think you mean 1997. I was in college far from a MLB team (by choice).
Btw plz come to spring training in Florida
Absolutely love this video
Thanks!
Where will you be on opening day
Tokyo Dome.
I think I like your off season videos better than your in-season ones lol, also can you go to Olympic stadium for the last blue jays spring games.
Seriously?? Not this year for Montreal. Maybe another time.
You are a legend keep doing your thing
Thanks.
Hi Zack Good video
Hi. Thanks.
@@zackhample no prob your the best
What do you think about some teams getting rid of hard copy tickets?
I hate it, but the world is becoming more and more paperless, so it's inevitable.
I love what you do
.
Thanks!
Nice
:)
