Thanks for watching! I have been using this mini cook set ever since I did the Pathfinder Pack Stove review. I got past the issues brought up in that video, and happily the stove has been a decent add to my kit. I have cooked LOTs of meals with this kit, and so far, it has proven itself worthy of taking up a spot in my ruck sack! 😁 Please Like, Subscribe, and Share if this content is helpful! God Bless!
I still have the Mini I bought in the late 80's when stationed in Germany. I flipping love that thing! Still have the same stove that came with the kit too. Simple and effective.
Love my Trangia T28 Mini cook kit. Had it since they first released them to the US markets. It's seen a ton of day hikes, road stops while roadtripping and kayak fishing outings on overnighter camping. Having a low flame stove with a low simmering point is key to really enjoying that kit to its full-on performance! Yes! That makes all the difference! 😊
It would. However, the Trangia kit features a nonstick pan, and is designed to harbor an alcohol burner, which I am not using here. Also, the aluminum on the Trangia pot is much more substantial than the scout pot - unless it is pre-WWII. Thanks for watching!

Indeed. I've been playing with this set up for a while. Also have a Coleman Peak One that works fairly well with the T28. Thanks for watching!
I think the pot from the Boy Scout kit would work as well.

Does this pass the "So what" test!
Trangia?
Ridiculously misleading title.
@@martin.feuchtwanger Not sure what is misleading - please explain
Yes. Trangia Mini (28), only modified with a different stove.
Stove looks like a knockoff of the classic Primus. I also can't see any difference from the Walmart knockoff in the blue bag.
Yep. Only difference is this one has fold out arms to extend the pot holding surface. Thanks for watching!
