    Best and most disrespectful moment was the Deion shuffle at 19:46. Love it.

    The best part about this whole thing is byu is a very young team. The 3 RBs you saw?
    LJ Martin, True SO (#27)
    Sione Moa, True FR (#30)
    Pokaiaua Haunga, True FR (#23)
    And yet they still ran all over Colorado. This BYU team loses like 12 role players total (not all of them even started)

      Haunga (who I really like as a scat) -- he even RS this season. (Only played 4 games & the bowl game.) He's not super fast but his vision & body control are tops. He, Moa & Martin can be real special next season.

    BYU's coordinators were fantastic in this game. Incredibly prepared. The defensive game plan and execution was stellar. They feasted on the two weaknesses of the Colorado offense 1) inability to run the ball 2) offensive line giving up pressure. Defensive coordinator was bringing heat from all angles all night. And on offense the one thing I noticed was constant movement presnap to expose what the Colorado defense was in and they had the correct play call adjustment for everything. Emptied the clip on trick plays too. The only thing that wasn't perfect from BYU was the offensive players didn't always execute. Turnovers, drops, etc prevented them from scoring even more.

    My friend, slavery was ended in America in 1865. It was ended in most of America before that (the transatlantic slave trade was banned in 1805, and some states, like Vermont, never allowed slavery, ever). 1865 to 2025 is 160 years. So no, she was not alive for slavery. Her parents also probably weren't, and her grandparents probably weren't.
    Likewise, WWI ended in 1917, so she wasn't alive for that either. The Great Depression started when she was 4, so she probably doesn't remember the good days before it; she probably thought her childhood was normal.

    As a byu fan, I don’t believe we saw the best of Colorado on Saturday. I also think byu was playing with a chip on their shoulder. Something they didn’t seem to have during the Kansas or the Arizona state games.
    Both of these team should have played in the big 12 championship, but only byu regained their desire to prove themselves.

    This is the same Colorado team who beat Oklahoma State 52-0, who beat Utah 49-24 and Utah coach Whittingham called them "the best team we've played this year".

      @@smokiej579 Or how strong BYU is. 2-loss BYU had a road win over a 2-loss playoff team in SMU. BYU also curb-stopped KSU, who physically beat up CU in Boulder.
      BYU struggled after they lost two of their Sr OL late (we got one back (our C) for the Alamo Bowl). It happens to everyone.

    • @smokiej579
      @smokiej579 22 дні тому +3

      @dalecaswell4217 that's true, you're right, BYU seemed really strong this year, I didn't mean to take that showing away from them, my apologies. I was more referring to the other "impressive" wins Colorado had. I just don't think they were more than a 6 or 7 win team in another p4 conference

    • @dalecaswell4217
      @dalecaswell4217 22 дні тому

      @@smokiej579 I thought it was clear BYU game-planned CU a lot more thoroughly than CU did us. I think CU came ready to play, but didn't fear us nearly us much as we did them. And it cost em.
      While I liked our chances against CU's OL, but I really wasn't expecting us to shut down Shedeur for all four quarters, basically. Our two Corners who tag-teamed on Hunter (Collins & Bamba) -- ended up holding him in check a lot better than I thought they would. I expected a lot more high-light reel catches for him than we saw. Us Y fans are pretty excited about getting Bamba back for a year with the new JC eligibility ruling. We rarely get NFL caliber Corners like him.

    Civil war ended in 1865 and the 13 amendment was passed on December 6, 1865 (a number of southern states failed to ratify the 13 amendment until the 2000s). The last recorded case of slavery happened in West Virginia in the 1970s, but during Jim Crow and the Black codes era communities would create laws in order to in prison black people and thus enslaved them as part of being in prison (which slavery for committing a crime is still legal). Outside of that background information, Peggy Coppom lived through during the Great Depression and Jim Crow along with possible knowing people who was enslaved and\or enslaved someone.

      Colorado was not a state during the slavery era. Her ancestors were not even there. Just because you were white in the slave era, doesn’t mean you owned one. It’s like your great grandchildren assuming you must have owned a Tesla.

      "She lived through slavery." ... ... ... bro thinks we still in the 1960s or something? hahaha. The last Confederate community of slaves in the US was freed on June 19, 1865. She would have to be at least 160. I'm sure he misspoke, but still funny as shit!

      I think Colorado is just as good as they were hyped to be. But mentality has a lot to do with these games. BYU let overconfidence get them for the Kansas and Arizona state games, and they came in feeling the need to prove themselves.
      Colorado stomped teams that byu squeaked by, and allowed their own hype to get to them. I think if they came in with the mentality of needing to prove something, it would’ve been a much closer game

Why can't it just be about the game? 16:50 watch the Heisman Trophy winner. Just wait til next season, there's going to be Kleenex vending machines all over CU campus.
