you're using a suboptimal build for Hypothermia if you're not speccing into skill power modifier. if you're running the same setup for your Cold-Bloodedness but just switching it out for Hypothermia in your testings, of course the former is going to do more damage. Hypothermia's DoT dmg and consistency relies on SPM so this is not an accurate comparison for the two at all if you're talking about min-maxing. IDeVaste has a great breakdown between the optimized builds for Viessa
Good suggestion might be worth testing! did you try it already? Since normally the proc happens every 2 seconds and max duration is 6 seconds on base. So for an extra tick would normally require 33% extra duration if purely basing it off the skill tooltip, so the extra 8% might not be enough to produce an extra tick. But worth to test it will try this out tonight unless you already did. :D
@@XurGLYou can make the duration 6.1 secs and you'll get the extra proc and explosion. I've been running Hypothermia with an 8.2 sec duration on blizzard and it's crazy.
Ofcourse feel free to try it out still it is just really expensive to level up multiple with a full build. Might work differently for you ofcourse and how you prefer to play. :D
Exactly the same situation for me! I'm still loving Hypothermia though. I'll test out cold blood once I've got the shards and gold to max it. I also really liked cold snap watch.

@@xtal2381 Yeah best to finish thunder cage first and perhaps first Blue Beetle since that one isway easier to get before Secret Garden. Since for Secret Garden 1 part highest drop rate overall is only 10% and had to do 40 amorphous just for 1 part, so 4 more. :D
I'd take another look at AZ. Not even touching on how its dot outperforms Hypo by orders of magnitude via frost walk, but also converts all skills to singular. Gives a nice damage boost. The only real noticeable difference is a lack of the 10% slow on bosses and a strange 9-second differential on blizzard cool down. Also, please stop running dead bride set. It has zero synergy with your own kit past that chill skill power boost. It just works with your gun, unless you switch over to AZ and even then its not worth it since everything dies in one cast regardless. What lives through it can't be frostbitten anyway. Run slayer instead for a nice 26% skill power increase.
Yeah that set is also more for later content and hopefully they will add a pure survival mode without any defense objective. Then that set would work amazing. Good suggestion will farm that! When i have my Secret Garden weapon unique max will make an updated video since i am curious about the extra skill power from it and to see what it gives on max . :D
yeah the rng can be pretty shit, my suggestion would be try to see if you can combine farming a specific weapon you want and with an location that can have both drop for maximum effect. Like doing Sepulcher dungeon that provides the amorphous material and has a chance to drop this mod aswell from mission monster. :D

@@XurGL Soul breaking, to get these AMPs/engrams they need to make 5 min timer either restartable mission or less than a min wait time. I can’t see myself doing this for every weapon. I’m standing around and trying to get lucky by reloading the area in private mode rather than actually grinding. Or is this what grinding is at this stage.
@@ImmolationBloom For now yes what i mainly do is i try to aim for 2 outposts at the same time so you can swap zones from outpost to outpost and is bit more time effective and more chance for an empty instance on private. We are still in pre-season and i expect they will change this in the future with how flexible the developers are being lately. For now i would suggest to just aim for 3 guns you want so you can make a perfect set for upcoming patch with various elements. They will add new weapon and mods and hopefully also some extra's like adding some secret weapons like in Destiny :D
ive also been using absolute zero and cold blood, and i find it that Absolute zero has a better quality of life on much easier gameplay.. you dont have to kill ads with riffle they will just die walking in your trail on skill 2.. and Absolute zero change all skill to singular. you can focus one and affects all skill.. youll have room for skill expansion, cooldown and high crits

Great question! It does actually proc on bosses, but since they are so big they aren't impacted as much. But for the Polar Night set it is possible to get max stacks on pyromaniac. Otherwise an easier set to use would be the slayer set for more raw damage but at the loss of some extra skill cost. :D

Honestly it is kind of a mess right now because there is also Secret Garden. Secret Garden's unique effect might be really good, i got the first one going now but rng is really bad for this one. It increases your skill power when using tech skills and at max stacks is already 27% for basic unique so hoping that max will be waay higher. :D And my theory is that since ice spheres is also tech that this will also passively trigger the effect. So for me i am chasing this one now. :D

No, with cold blooded ness the increased speed on Viessa her second is lost because of the excessive gains you get from it. If you do want to keep the extra speed give hypothermia a try but then best to see if you can change some mods around. :D

Instead of running increase hp you can run battle for stamina to get that extra ult tick off the duration bonus

Personally i don't like that one, since frostbite can proc on bosses aswell with cold-bloodedness with all the spamming. :D
