আরে বেকুব গর্ব করার থাকলে বাংলাদেশকে নিয়ে কর।এই ছোট দেশে ১৫০০০ হাজারের উপর রাইছ মিল আছে যেখানে ৫০০ মিল আছে সেমি অটো, ২৫ টা আছে ফুল অটো, এদের মধ্যে কিছু মিল আছে যাদের কেপাসিটি ৪০০০০০ লক্ষ মেট্রিক টনের উপরে। কুষ্টিয়া, পাবনা, বি-বারিয়া, নওগাঁ, জয়পুরহাট, বগুড়া, দিনাজপুর, রংপুরে এই সব মিল অবস্তিত। এখন বড় বড় ব্র্যান্ড কোম্পানি যেমন স্কয়ার, প্রান, তীর, এসিয়াই, ব্র্যাক, এ আর, আড়ং, এরফান, কাজী কোম্পানি শত কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করেছে। আর আমদের কাল জিরা চাল তো জগত বিখ্যাত যেখানে কোন ক্রিতিম ফ্লেবার ইউজ করা হয়না। ৫ বছরের পুরনো একটি ভিডিও পাঠালাম পারলে দেখে নিস। ua-cam.com/video/CmJDEcBawb4/v-deo.html

Machine polishing removes nutrients of the rice grains. Many people have requested state governments to make a policy that machine polishing is kept minimum or introduce semi automatic de-husking.

I agree with you 100% but remember looks sell and that's more important to them and if consumer stop buying that product then they will stop making them so it's in the hands of consumers and not governments. No need to create more bureaucracy and laws.

The price of common paddy in the village market is Rs 12 to Rs 15 per kg, it has been 10 to 15 years and the price of paddy is still not increasing. But normal rice price in the market is Rs 45 to Rs 50 per kg.

A proud achievement for Punjab and India and a trend setter for value addition to our cereal crops especially primary processing. India needs to triple the capacity to store food grains and perishable fruits and vegetables. It's shocking that India loses 26 percent of food grains due to pests and pathogens during storages. Our farmers and horticulturists need to be provided world class storage and processing facilities at subsidized rate. India must dominate the global basmati rice market with high quality products as demonstrated in this useful video. India exported about four million MT basmati rice in 2021-22 and earned 3500 million dollars. We must target 10 million MT export and 12 billion dollars earnings in next five years by boosting such factories and incentivising the supply chains

Indian rice used to be crazy popular in Iran. In the past decades, government and mafia have heavily changed people's view towards Indian rice, to the point that Indian rice is now half as expensive as Persian rice! While 30years ago it was absolutely the opposite!!
The reason for that decision was to save Persian farmers from going broke, because they couldn't compete with prices of Indian, Pakistani and Thai rice, so the only solution was for them to be able to sell it at higher prices. Therefore a decades long campaign of degrading Indian rice started and eventually changed people's definition of good rice and even changed the culture itself!!
Is persian rice tasty , long and aromatic?
@@RanjeetYadav-es6hb it's definitely not long. Though it smells much much better and the smell lasts much longer. The taste is very difficult to judge though. Cuz there are 5 different types of Persian rice.
@@sammysuri393 I think main areas where it's cultivating in Iran lies near to tehran where climate is suitable for rice production in India mostly rice crop is rain fed, what about persian rice crop is that rain fed or irrigated?
@@RanjeetYadav-es6hb almost all the rice is cultivated in 3 northern provinces of Iran. All of which are located to the very south of the Caspian Sea.
I'm not sure about the irrigation, though I believe it's mostly rain fed.

Correction! It is not a Basmati rice factory but a warehouse for it as Basmati rice is produced on special climate areas to planypt it organically farm it, not in a factory.
It is a basmati rice processing factory . Rice is not grown but paddy is grown . Basmati variety originates from Dehradun. Major Basmati growing areas are Punjab UP Haryana . Best processing is done in Punjab .
