I think the reason they lost is they focused SO much attention on your southern fob even though the point is on the northern one. It was almost peaceful up there.

Yeah! I can't think of any ambush scenes rn, having a bit of mental block, but it reminds me of Saving Private Ryan, during the beach scene there's a soldier that gets saved by his helmet. He takes it off to look at the dent, and then gets promptly domed by another German round. Seeing the first TOW hit the wall and then the second obliterate the Bradley reminded me of that feeling of relief and luck, immediately followed by reality going "But, for real tho, get fucked.".
What you did was truly epic. This needs to be a one life event or a game mode (see below for dorking out with an idea) - it must have been incredible being on the enemy team, and to realise the airfield was one giant superfob! :D this is the kinda gameplay I want in a (hopefully inevitable) Squad Vietnam game/mod! If any modders or devs happen to read this: the game mode would have the anchor point system for the first/closest flag to the team with the superfob - the enemy has to cap all the flags leading to this as usual in RAAS, however the superfob team cannot cap any other flags until their next closest flag is already capped by the enemy forces. This means that one team must basically cap the full map barring the one flag that the other side has as anchor (with same rules/effects as TC mode, with detrimental effects if you lose it, etc) before the main forces come in to contact, giving time for the fob to begin construction and get the whole thing set up. I see this working as a sort of counter-insurgency mode where you cant attack the insurgents until they are a "threat", ie capped the next flag, showing the escalation and front-line of the battle to come, with the win condition either being the INS-side forces capping the anchor/superfob base or the other side capping all flags onwards from their superfob, or ofc the usual ticketbleed. (side note - this would be perfect for a Vietnam game too) (GIVE ME VIETNAM)

Karmakut, being mortar & rocket fire in real life is scary. We use bunkers to cover our asses. We do have our 11C do a counter mortar fire against insurgents.
It would actually be a very interesting game mode to have an entire team dedicated to building defenses for like 10 minutes and then having an entire team trying to crack said defenses, it would bring an entire new level of teamwork and planning to Squad when done right.
We built a FOB inside a bunker as a last line of defence and we had HMG's, TOW Launchers, mortars, and even an AA gun, and heavily fortified with sandbags and hasco barriers. Needless to say, we won the game because of that defence against the entire enemy team.
The best part was watching the Bradley get annihilated from first contact. Epic moments. The enemy did a good job keeping up the pressure, you guys were getting hammered. Would be interested to see a one life event attacking/defending a superfob like this.
Right?? When the first shot landed there was a moment of complete silence out of astonishment. Then when the second shot exploded the Bradley, all hell broke loose.
Exactly. In a one life event this enemy would have crushed Karma's Army, they really did a great job from what I saw. Heck they killed Karma 4 or 5 times from mortars alone. It would be kind of funny to see him get wiped out almost immediately lol. He probably wouldn't show it to us though.
