However, most of the S.K public agrees that Park Chung-Hee did improve the national economy and stabilized the country, which led to South Korea going through an economic boom for years to come. Personally, I can appreciate Park's contributions to the nation and stable economic plan; but how he stabilized the country using extreme censorship and military force while also keeping the working-class poor while the economy still improved makes me withdraw from praising him.

@@noahsark8048 America and the USSR divided Korea, sure. But it wad planned to be temporary and plans were to unite the peninsula soon. Ideological disputes turned into the Korean War and the division lasted longer than expected.
