I would really love your reaction to Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari...its long but never fear.....as long as your talking about our guys you take as long as you like. We all love your reaction and enjoy seeing you. Army's love it doesn't matter how long it is. We are here and we love long video's 😊 If you'd react to Bangtan 7 you'll learn about what the guys mostly do and what they each contribute to the group. Thank you young man ❤💜💜💜💜💜💜💜❤
Spring Day references to the Sewol Ferry Disaster (April of 2014) in Korea which left about 300 kids/children dead or missing (a couple survived), as far as I know this song is to memorialize those poor souls. May they all rest in peace
@@brochiachekpop it gets sadder, i believe the kids were also instructed to remain seated while the ferry sank and whilst the adults evacuated. also the media and ferry staff tried to downplay the magnitude of the accident and attempted to sweep it under the rug. i might be remembering it wrong but im pretty sure thats correct.
Yes Spring Day was written for all the children lost in the Seawolves Ferry Disaster. They also called out all the cover ups that they tried to cover up the accident. I believe to this day, 5 adults are in prison now for their telling all the kids to stay where they are while they abandoned the Ferry. It is a very emotional story. It is very heart breaking. And of course the last song was because of Covid-19. All their songs have so much more meaning then some give them credit for. BTS alone has gone through so much shit and they still stay Humble throughout it all! Our 7 angels! I know they saved my life. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@brochiachekpop to clarify, the song itself was written by RM and Suga about missing friends, however the MV is 100% a tribute to the Sewol Ferry Tragedy. At the time, artists that actively spoke out about the tragedy were blacklisted by the former government so they had to be careful but if you watch the explanation by the Italian army, you can see that there are too many parallels in the MV to not be a tribute. They also donated publicly to the funds for the families of the tragedy (correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s also one of the only times they publicized their donation to show their support)
About Black Swan: They ARE talking about losing their love and passion for music. From what we know after the release of Map of Soul: 7 and the World tour they had planned(Black Swan belongs to this album) the group was meant to take a break since they hadn’t had one since they debuted in 2013. RM has said that they struggled to find a new message to convey. By now you may have noticed that BTS is not about just comercial bops, but actual deep lyrics. Their artistry is something we as ARMY wish more people would recognize. So when they felt they didn’t have a specific message to express, they had sort of an existential crisis. Then came the pandemic and we had new music that was upbeat and comforting, it was their new reason to create even though they hadn’t planned for that to happen. Fast forward to the FESTA 2022 (Festas are like events to commemorate their anniversary since they debuted) and RM specifically said they felt they had to discover themselves because they had been running non-stop since 2013 (I’m, of course, giving you an extremely short summary) and that they felt the k-pop industry doesn’t really allow for time to self development and self discovery. It was painful to watch and to hear, but it was also so admirable to confirm once again that music means so much to them (you see how losing that passion was going to be their first death? It’s not exaggeration for them). Thankfully it seems they are having that time to find their spark and passion again, and I’m sure when they comeback from their military service they will have many more stories to tell in the form of amazing music. Thank you for you honest reactions, they’re really so much fun to watch!
Let me tell you the background story of "Life Goes On"... Right before the pandemic started, BTS announced their biggest world tour of their entire career. They were going to visit countries they have never been to. More cities in the US than ever before, more dates at the biggest stadiums in the world. And it would feature some of the biggest dance performances we had ever seen, like "ON". Then COVID hit. The tour was postponed. Then it was postponed again. Then it was cancelled. And on top of that, the older members were about to run out time before they had to enter the military. We all realized we would not see them together again on stage for years. They released Dynamite to cheer us up, and it helped a little. And then right before Jin was scheduled to enlist, we got this song about having hope for a better future. It came out during the worst period everyone was having while enduring the pandemic. Only a few weeks before Jin would have to enlist. Just imagine. Less than two weeks after this MV was released, the South Korean government passed a law that allowed men who were Jin's age to postpone enlistment. They also passed a law that allowed the members to postpone an additional year. As a result, we got "Permission to Dance," an album, 10 sold out shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seoul. We got "My Universe", ANOTHER album, j-hope's appearance at Lollapalooza, Jin's song "The Astronaut" with Coldplay, and so much more before they started to enlist. But the day "Life Goes On" came out was rough.
There was a story line that BTS had for several albums. That is what the scenes were tied to that you were confused about. But just enjoy the art and music! And Spring Day was tied to a tragic ferry crash that took many lives and it became an anthem for the tragedy. You are getting the members 😄
My bruh’s listened to four BTS songs and he’s already goin down the rabbit hole and is a widdle baby ARMY! In two more weeks, he’ll be so far down that hole he’ll never be able to climb out and he’ll be a full blown adult ARMY who cannot get enough BTS. I’m diggin it! I’m going to seriously enjoy going on this journey with you. I’ve been on my own journey that started in 2016 and I was really sad when I finally caught up and watched every piece of content BTS had put out and their live performances, variety shows, fan cam videos , fan made videos and every other thing about BTS I could find because I did not want the journey to end. Going through the journey with new ARMYs is an experience that I love because I am able to see and experience it again through eyes of others. I’ve watched a ton of reactors and I can tell right away who is being genuine and who’s reacting to BTS for the clicks. YOU are genuine. You get them. And I cannot wait until you know their story. It’s a tale of greatness, triumph and tragedy. They are a once in a generation group who should be appreciated for what they’ve accomplished and for who they’ve become and ESPECIALLY for what they’ve done for ARMY. I’m 56 years old and I have been given a new perspective on life and have learned to live without fear, love with all my heart and to never give up and hang on to hope because without these things, we are nothing but a shell. That may sound corny, but the more you learn about them, their music, the underlying messages in their songs, you too will be more appreciative of them and understand that you can learn a lot from them and their music. I am also fuckin THRILLED that J-Hope is your bias (favorite) because he is also my bias. I believe he is the most well rounded, most talented, the glue that’s kept BTS together and keeps them hopeful. His name fits him perfectly. (He’s also known as Hobi, Hoseok and Sunshine) He’s also the main dancer, part of the rap line, the vocal line, and has also been referred to by all the members as the real leader of the group. He’s also the most successful. This in and of itself is amazing as he was the least popular in the beginning yet never stopped working hard and putting in more effort and dedication without complaint. I think you’re going to like Suga too. Or I hope you do because he’s my second favorite (or bias wrecker. I’ve had a couple of bias wreckers, but I always come back to Suga.) He’s also extremely talented having written, composed and produced more songs than anyone else in the group. They’re all very talented in their own individual ways, but there’s no denying that J-Hope and Suga are the most talented. AND YES! You just said that your second favorite, aka bias wrecker, was SUGA!!! I’m so happy! You got good taste bruh! Now I’m even more excited to go on your BTS journey with you! (I’m Kelly btw!) And ARMY loves it when you pause and comment. We’d rather you do that than talk over the song and miss something. We honestly like long reactions. Also? We will happily answer any questions you have and encourage you to ask! ARMY is the absolute kindest and helpful fandom in the world. We would never do anything that would reflect badly on BTS. So, we are always kind and respectful to other ARMY members as well as other groups and their fans. People who aren’t kind and respectful are not “true“ ARMY. Being an ARMY actually means something and we take it seriously. We are huge and we can make shit happen. They gave $1 million to the Black Lives Matter movement and we matched that million in less than 24 hours. V, one of the members and part of the vocal line and also a main dancer once of the members said once that if BTS was a color they would be purple because it was the last color in the rainbow and encompassed all feelings and emotions. So, you will often hear ARMY say, “I purple you“ Which means I love you and respect you. They have the purple ribbon project where army will stand in airports, holding a purple ribbon, so that BTS members can walk through the airport peacefully without being mobbed. There is a legal association of lawyers called the purple legal project that provides legal services to people who cannot afford an attorney. They also have a purple mental health Project of psychiatrists, Social Workers and other mental health professionals who provide free mental healthcare, too, again, for those who cannot afford it. When they had a free concert in Central Park, ARMYs camped out for two weeks on the sidewalk just to see BTS. Local businesses complained at first because they thought the fans would be detrimental to their businesses. However, they quickly realized that we were very respectful and actually helped their businesses and said that they were totally amazed once those ARMYs left because you could not tell that they had been there at all because an ARMY would never do anything to make our boys look bad, or reflect badly on them, so, of course, everyone made sure that they left no trace of them even being there once they had gone. We have also gotten xenophobic and racist TV and radio personalities kicked off of the air because of our sheer numbers and our willingness to take up for BTS. Together, BTS and ARMY can do anything. And I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing relationship. And I’m super excited for you to become part of our family. I sincerely mean that and hope you don’t get too sidetracked by other groups! There are some other amazing groups out there, but, like I said, before, BTS are a once in a lifetime, or once, in a generation group, that deserves respect and recognition. Besides, no one will ever be able to best BTS. Most everyone of their songs has an ongoing underlying storyline that runs through a lot of their albums, especially starting with wings. I am excited for you to see some of Jay hopes solo performances, because he is multi dimensional. His first mixtape was upbeat and full of catchy tunes. His latest mixtape or album is more rock. I believe his song more from his latest solo album, topped the alternative billboard charts he was the first Korean performer to ever headline a lollapalooza concert. And, did he break records! He had the biggest crowd, and sold out show which was unheard of for the slot he was in. He was so nervous leading up to the concert, and often said he wished he had never excepted the invitation and did not think anyone would show up, when they showed his concert on Hulu and panned out to the crowd, it was a sea of ARMY. The security guards lollapalooza had provided for Jay hopes concert were even distracted by his performances. He literally did not stop for nearly an hour and a half. And, you will soon realize this, but Jimin is his best friend in German traveled the 6000 miles to surprise J Hope, and showed up to support him. For years, they were roommates and when they moved into a six bedroom luxury apartment two of them had to share a room and J-Hope and Jimin quickly agreed that they would share a room as they truly do get along very well, and have been roommates forever and are like brothers. They are all like brothers, but J-Hope and Jimin are especially close. Anyway, feel free to ask any questions you want! There will be a ton of ARMY that will gladly answer your questions in detail. You can learn a lot from ARMYs!
Life goes on - is came out when its covid pandemic time... This song is like we needed it that time and they bring it out as medicine to our soul and heart...
spring day MV has a very specific (and heart breaking) reference. if you ever want to watch an explanation video, there's a good one by an Italian army (just search spring day explanation by Italian army and it will cone up). it's worth checking out, whetheryou do a reaction or not. it will make sense of a lot of the scenes in the MV and make you understand why this song is still charting years later.
Life Goes On is referring to the pandemic. They sent ARMY this song to keep spirits up that the future will come and bring us together again. The part where Taehyung looks at the concert dome in Seoul and has the reaction he does still hits my heart. THEN, when Jin tells us to close our eyes and come with him to the future… the next scene is them on stage… my eyes tear up EVERY TIME!!! Thank you for letting us enjoy these memories. Just know that we are here to guide you in your adventure of BTS. You have done a great job reacting to our groups. 💜🫶🏻💜
The production that went into Black Swan was insane. They filmed it in an old theater and danced bare-foot(something they had never tried before) while also dancing with the Contemporary style(something I believe Jimin helped to lead the other members in since he majored in Contemporary Dance). Jimin and J-hope both had special parts in the video. They played the shadows you saw in the music video. Jimin was Suga's and Jungkook's shadows and J-hope was RM's shadow. If you noticed, one of the members had a solo dance part throughout the music video. That member was Jimin. Jimin's solo dancing parts are simply amazing(this is only an understatement, but I really can't put into words the beauty of Jimin's dancing) they really help to convey and just add more power and emphasis to the message that they're trying to send. I've always admired BTS's method of storytelling in their music videos. All of the members start out wearing white, but six of the members become black swans and Jimin is the only one remaining who still wears white. Jimin, however, has some black on his white outfit symbolizing that he's beginning to fall like the other members did. Once he falls, he rises with the black wings of the black swan and continues going downhill from there. I just absolutely love how the members tell stories in their music videos it adds so much life and depth in them and makes it more enjoyable and pleasant to watch. I just love a good story, who's with me? Edit: I probably should warn you(if somebody hasn't already) that Fake Love is one of the many music videos that is associated with the Bangtan Universe(BU for short). It's a fictional storyline they created that expands across certain BTS music videos, VCR's(exclusive to concerts only) a mobile game(Called Bangtan Universe), books(aka the books are called memories), and a Webtoon comic. I wouldn't recommend checking it out until you're more familiar with BTS and the members. But if you really want to jump down that rabbit hole, there's a 2020 updated explanation video by xCeleste that can explain the storyline. The story as a whole is really dark, but it's still a good story overall and the BTS members portray it well in the other music videos and here in Fake Love(going back to my point on the BTS members being great storytellers). The story is also very confusing in certain parts, but I repeat myself, it's a really good story and I do hope that they continue it. Also, everything in the Fake Love music video was real. Spring Day is no exception to great storytelling as it is a tribute to the ferry incident and it's just a beautiful song in general. There are some ARMY's who actually do include this with the BU, but I'm not entirely sure if it's true or not. All I know is that it's a tribute to the ferry incident. Life Goes On is also a music video with great storytelling and just a little fun fact for you: Jungkook has credits for directing the music video. BTS are phenomenal artists with their way to tell stories without saying a word and passing on messages comforting messages through their music.
Here’s some hype older songs that are some of my favourites! Silver spoon (dance practice video) Dope Run I need u Save me Fire Blood, sweat, & tears Run BTS (different from “Run”, this one came out this year) Not a song but a performance video called “Intro Performance Trailer” Live songs: Funny ones: Boyz with Fun (the one where they’re in black) Spine breaker (they have a funny homemade music video that might be good too) Attack on bangtan Vocals kill you ones: Rain Let Me Know Hold me Tight Butterfly Autumn Leaves House of Cards (full length) Gosh there’s more but I think this is a pretty good list for now. It’s mostly older songs that you’ll get a lot of love for looking at!
Great suggestions!! Love Baepsae (Silver Spoon) and highly recommend the dkdtv explanation video that goes with it, it truly helps you to realize the depth of their commitment to lyricism and messaging. plus it's a fun song clapping back at the older generation but all these songs I would love to see a reaction to
All these songs meaning summed up Black swan:loosing passion for something(in this case music) Fake love: changing yourself for others and loosing yourself in the process Spring day: like many have told you it’s about the Sewol ferry disaster(the mv) but the song is about missing someone and endlessly waiting for what seems eternity and wanting to let go but not being able to Life goes on: (pandemic song btw) it talks about struggles between the pandemic and not being able to preform and hoping it’ll end soon
Sweetie! It makes me sad to hear you say you don't want to waste our time! We're here because we want to spend time with you! Take all the time you want 🤗 loving your reactions, you notice a lot, it's fun reliving the videos through your eyes 💜 much love to you Edit: there was another melody in the running for Life Goes On, Suga put it on his new album D-DAY, maybe you'd like that one too 💜 ua-cam.com/video/mzWnW1V9EMc/v-deo.html
19:55 in spring day, my favorite scene is when JK lights up the match (the little match girl) where when lighting it he’s able to see his most beloved memories again. It relates with the tragedy as well. JK is kind of portraying the survivors, unable to go on with their lives and missing their friends who didn’t make it.
You should check these out! -anpanman -baepsae (silver spoon) -Gogo (these first three are like hype music but the meanings behind them r interesting) -The truth untold (truly a beautiful masterpiece) -euphoria(jungkook’s solo, idk how to describe it but I get emotional when I see the mv and hear the song) -serendipity (perfectly describing Jimin’s vibe/ Jimin’s solo) -epiphany(Jin’s solo, whenever I have insecurities I listen to this song and it always calms me down) -the astronaut (also Jin’s solo, shit made me cry) -intro boy meets evil (a rlly impactful mv and song) -wings trailer (it has a remix of outro wings but the trailer’s visuals are so ahead of it’s time. Gorgeous) -trivia :just dance (a vibe honestly) -ego (Jhope’s solo) -interlude shadow (yoongi’s solo, this mv and song left me speechless) -lights (it’s a Japanese song so if you do react to it be careful about copyright issues!) -heartbeat (BTS World game soundtrack) -dream glow (also a BTS World soundtrack) -we are bulletproof pt 2 and we are bulletproof the eternal (two very diff sounding songs but they both slap) -I need you(the mv and song still gives me goosebumps till this day) -UGH! and Ddaeng (rap line popped off in this) -Wild Flower (namjoon’s indigo album, the mv is stunning and so is the song) -Airplane pt 2(a perfect example of showing the versatility in their music genres) -My universe (stunning outer space galaxy visuals , collab with Coldplay and beautiful song and lyrics)
Another thing to add. When BTS announced they would be taking a break from group activities one thing Suga said that always stuck with me was (paraphrasing) when they first became a group he had so much he wanted to write about and speak out about but he didn't have the skill or tools. Now he has both but doesn't have a message to put out anymore. I respect them so much because instead of riding out the wave of popularity and becoming money hungry they were honest with saying they don't want to just put music out just to have it out, they want to believe in what they're writing. That's why they're so big and will continue growing as a group
They are indeed surprisingly deep. You got the meaning of Black Swan totally right: It is about losing the passion for what you love, in their case music. RM even references a quote by famous early 20th century choreographer Martha Graham: "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." But you did yourself a disservice by not watching the whole mv. At first the dark shadow is huge and overpowering, then as they face it they become of equal size and (in the part you missed) they accept that the shadow is a part of them and it disappears/is absorbed into them. Always play BTS's mvs till the very end because they love putting important details like that there. 😉 Fake Love might be a little confusing imagery-wise because it's a part of their (very dark) fictional storyline. (Like, we're talking "childhood trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, mental health problems, "self-unaliving" and murder"-kinda dark) One important and impressive thing to know about them though is this rule of thumb: If it can be done IRL, they probably did it. Except for V's phone turning to dust and the shadow imagery in the interlude they really did all of it. We know that because they always release short behind the camera videos of their mvs. They only use green screen and CGI if it's absolutely necessary. With Spring Day you really struck gold! It's fondly known as "The Queen" because it's been on the South Korean charts non-stop for five years so far. Others have already told you the meaning of the mv so I'll just add that they took a HUGE risc politically with that one. They could've easily been blacklisted but they pulled it off so subtly yet so clearly that they avoided it. Pure *chef's kiss* on that one! I highly recommend you watch the explanation video made by Italian ARMY because this is one of their most important songs ever. During the pandemic it took on another meaning as well and became the symbol of BTS and ARMY missing both each other and those we couldn't be with. Life Goes On was released at the height of the pandemic before there was even a vaccine and we all litterally didn't know if it was ever going to end. They filmed it in and around their actual dorm (the room with the twin beds belongs to J-Hope and Jimin 😄) and JK even directed it. Imagine me waking up to this surprise release on my birthday - the best birthday present I ever got! 😄👍
I love how he kept replaying that part in life goes on It has a special playing in my heart I’ve listened to it every day since 2020 now it’s like my lullaby to fall asleep
Thank you for the reaction Black Swan is a song based off a quote by Martha Graham, a famous dancer. Her quote was « A dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing, and that first death is the most painful » So here in this song bts is talking about their fear of losing their love and passion for music As you can notice suga opens up the song saying « the music no longer makes the heart race, that would be my first death I’ve been always afraid of » I also saw some theories about the « do your thang with me now » it’s like Bts is talking to their fans, asking them to support them, and the « what’s my thang tell me now » some people see it as if they represent how an artist can be oppressed by the « fans »that always try to control them Rm talked about how they were planning to take their hiatus during the era when black swan was released, but then COVID happened and they chose to stay to cheer up army They also talked about dynamite being an unplanned comeback, how they released that song just to bring some happiness During the festa 2022, they also talked about how they were feeling burnt-out, that they needed a break long ago and that they were finally having it
Legit one of my favorite reactors now. I JUST adore how you take their lyrics in. And your interpretation are correct! Black swan is about artist in general to me. Every artist goes through a rut or a moment where their passion dies out. It is the first death. To lose passion in what has driven you in life.
In your first BTS reaction, you noticed how beautiful many of the scenes were. You also commented that you had the feel of the music, even though you didn't know Korean. And now you are appreciating how young they look, compared to the Yet to Come mv, which is quite recent. These are some features that ARMY loves to enjoy yet again when we watch with a new reactor!
please make sure to always play the videos all the way through. sometimes there is more, even after you think the MV has ended. you missed the last few seconds of black swan
@@brochiachekpop The album Black Swan came from is Map of the Soul 7 album. This album is inspired/influenced by Carl Jung theory (psychologist) about persona, shadow, and ego. So the whole album they talk about as a group and solo songs different points of view (their point of view) on those three things. They even have three songs that specifically talk about persona, shadow, and ego (coming from their point of view). As for the shadow it is basically what I would consider our “inner (sometimes outer) demons”. So it can be trial, temptations, regrets, worries, things we want to hid from others, etc. If you pay close attention their is actually quite a few different shadows moving on their own throughout the MV. Of course their is more too it with the BU (BTS fictional storyline) and knowing what the rest of the albums are about but this is a summary for just this specific album. Edit; when Map of the Soul 7 came out it was suppose to be like a celebration album celebration 7 years they have been together (because when the album was made and they debut it was seven days), celebrating that their are seven members, etc. BTS was suppose to go on a huge world tour after this release of this album and it was suppose to be that last album before they went to service in the military but they were able to receive an award for the govt (it is nicknamed the BTS law because so far only they make the requirement for it) letting them postpone their military service to age 30 and then the pandemic happened and it canceled all their plans. That is how we got the BE album and a few other English songs and a collab with Coldplay called My Universe. Also how we got an anthology album called Proof.
Your reactions so refreshing! The input you have and connections you make with each song are always so interesting to hear, especially as someone that has been a fan of BTS since 2018…it’s like hearing/analyzing songs for the first time again :)
Not sure where you live, but for many, shoes in a tree/on a telephone (or other) wire represent a tragedy, shortly after it happens. The shoes stay up until weather frays the laces enough to break them down and the shoes fall. It marks the "mourning period" for many. Not that they ever forget the loved one, of course, but when the shoes fall, the period of mourning is over, and there is often a celebration of the life/lives lost. It's common where I am to see them mostly at the scene of motorcycle accidents (when a biker gets hit by a car/truck that the driver wasn't paying attention) and - especially - teeny, tiny, shoes at or near the place where a child was killed or murdered.
This was an amazing video, thank you for reacting and enjoying the music 💜 I cant even pick a fave from the ones you reacted these songs are all special in the fandom tbh 😅
Don’t ever feel you are wasting our time. We love our boys so much and are loving watching you appreciate them. So cool how you picked up on things immediately and catch things many miss in the videos. They are very deep, emotional, and loving. Welcome to the “Army” 💜🫰🏻
BTS has very deep messages within their songs. I suggest watching the Spring Day explanation video. It'll really make you realize how deep their message goes.
Black Swan is about Depression Fake Love is obviously self explanatory by name Spring Day is about missing someone (Sewol Ferry Victims🥺) Life Goes On is about how our life stopped during covid 19 lockdown
All the songs doneduring covid and just prior to are so emotional for me and others, but Life Goes On is just the best to me. Spring Day, "the queen" is in a class by herself. You will never regret listening to and liking BTS.
BTS is the best cause of the lyrics and music that they compose which sets them apart from other groups that do not have the same creative freedom as BTS has...and they create magnificent magical music 💜💜💜
After watching some of your contents about BTS, as an army and a kpop fan (of course) who's already had been watching to a LOT of reaction videos and ofc a LOT of different kinds of reactors, I'll definitely say that you're one of the best reactors. Cuz, you know there's a ton of people who'd just watching the contents but at the same time they're not really paying a good attention into what exactly they're watching atm, in a simple words, they're just basically doing it for some views (and I hate that sm). I respect people who's just getting to and want to learn about my boys and I love to hear their first impression or their thoughts, but sometimes there's people who'd just being too exaggerated and armys would always know, who's being real and who doesn't. So in conclusion, I really am grateful that you're being soooo positive towards their music and their arts, and I got a lil bit surprised that you noticed those details and the meaning behind the songs especially "Black Swan", it shows that you really appreciates them SO DON'T MIND THE DURATION, WE'RE TOTALLY OKAY SO JUST SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS AS LONG AS POSSIBLE WE'D LOVE TO HEAR IT. Anyway, thank youuu! (sorry for typing too much)
In 2014, I think, there was a tragedy in Korea. A ship laden with school kids on their way to a field centre on an island. The ship was overloaded with passengers and keeled over in bad weather. The captain and crew were taken off by rescue vessels but the kids had been told to wait in their cabins. They were so obedient that most waited for help that never came. Hundreds died and it came out that rescue vessels had been blocked from rescuing the kids because the owners didnt want the fact to get out that there were too many passengers aboard. That is the gist of it, but I may have got some details wrong. This song has been taken to heart by the Korean public to remember the schoolkids. Life goes on is such a positive vibe.
thank you so much for enjoying bts’ music! don’t worry about the video being too long, personally I prefer genuine reactions like this. you made my day with this reaction, I hope you have a wonderful day!!
Please, watch Guide to BTS: The Bangtan 7!! It's a longer video but it's amazing to get to know their past and all of them more individually. You also get a glimpse at some of their solo work!
Damn, you got Black Swan right off the bat! Yes, the song is about what happens to an artist who falls out of love with their art, and their fears of being too burnt out to create anymore, or not able to dance or make music anymore. It’s a very vulnerable exploration of a deep fear.
If interested in knowing more about Idol (and the Korean culture/wordplay/BTS history) I recommend: -Dkdktv explanation video -Xceleste’s explanation video (just stop when she starts taking about the BU/theories) They don’t overlap too much but both give important insight, in my opinion.
You should do separate videos of you reacting to the rapline (jhope, suga and rm) such as Ugh!, Ddaeng, cypher and the vocal line (jin, jimin, jungkook and v) The Truth Untold, House of cards, dimple 🤭
Black Swan: a performer becoming exhausted or burnt out by his passion. They describes how their heart no longer races when music is played and compare this feeling to that of death Fake love: "if you're not true to yourself, your love won't last forever". In the song they talk about how they changed everything about their personality to be "perfect" in the eyes of their significant other (pretend they're okay when they're not etc.) and not being able to recognize themselves anymore Spring day: came out three years after the sinking of the Sewol ferry, a disaster in which an improperly inspected, overloaded, and unbalanced ferry capsized on an overnight journey. 250 South Korean students died on that ferry (it is believed they were more people who died since they sadly couldn't find all the bodies) Life goes on: The song is about having strength during difficult times. It came out during the pandemic so it was also made for people (especially the fans) to keep going even in hard times. BTS also thought about disbanding so it was also a way to tell themselves to keep fighting and that there would come better times
Life goes on hits different ❤🥺by the way i like your reactions , please do more bts I recommand The truth untold lyrics and live ( its vocal line song)
I am so in love with BTS and enjoyed your first reaction to them. Glad to see you are back for more! There are other groups I listen too but only a few songs because BTS are my babies #Army #Borahe 💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻
Jungkook made his MV directorial debut on the song Life Goes On. There's a UA-cam video of the behind the scenes of his directorial debut if you're interested.
Gracias por la reacción retrocedí en el tiempo, recordando a bts antes de la pandemia y “life goes on “ me llevo a ese tiempo difícil y recordar como mi amado bts nos trató de sostener fue una gran ayuda. Saludos 🇨🇱💜💜💜💜💜
J-hope is my bias. I adore all of the guys so much, but my ears love the way Hobi raps. It's just so lyrical and almost playful. His verse in Wings is awesome.
Just want to tell you something Pretty sure army already said it to first and i am going to say it again Dont worry about how longe the video is we will watch it with you from the beginning to the very end We love seeing people fall in love with our boys and we love seeing every second of it And we can feel the emotions that we had while watching a certain song through you And let me tell you something we watched a butter melt for two hours just because it was bts We army are not only suppurative and protective to bts but to eachother as will So feel comfortable to share your thoughts we will never judge you And i also request the introduction to bts members by Tylor You are going to love it it's abit too long but you wont even feel like it and it will help you with knowing the members more Have a good day and i purple you 💜
I love you diving headfirst into the BTS rabbit hole with no care in the world. 🎉 So Black Swan was part of the album they dropped supposedly before enlistment and talked about their feelings of burnout. Fake Love is actually part of the Love Yourself trilogy, part of the fictional storyline BTS Universe. Spring Day is an anthem, still charting to this day in South Korea because it's partly for the victims and survivors of the Sewol tragedy. Life Goes On they dropped during the pandemic to give comfort to themselves and Army. Hope you do more BTS songs because they're not only amazing sonically but lyrically as well, you won't find that anywhere else. 💜
33:48 honestly i feellll youuuu. Life Goes On is a beautiful songggg. It was number 1 in my Spotify wrapped last year, i literally couldn’t stop listening to it😂
You mentioned that your favorite is J-Hope, Suga, and Jimin. All three of them have their own solo albums. J-Hope's is Jack in the Box, Suga has 3 albums (Agust D, D-2, and D-Day), and Jimin's is FACE. I recommend you listen to Daechwita (from D-2), More (from Jack in the Box), and Like Crazy (from FACE) whenever you have the time. They're really good songs. My favorite one is More by J-Hope .
i love life goes on, it came out during the pandemic and i remember when this came out it made me so happy it was like they were saying it’ll pass and life will continue as if nothing happened.
Hoping for you to react to thier funny moments or introduction/guide.... i started exploring them by a funny moments video 😂(lol) seeing that i couldn't even tell they were celebrities, they are so down to earth people. And no.1 comedians 😂❤ This is your beginning of your journey of becoming army💜 and trust me this moment is the most precious and amazing moment , which i really miss of me trying to learn thier names, how they started, how's the friendship between them...everything! Hope you'll enjoy this journey! 💜
Always nice to see someone reacting to Bts. I love open-minded people. The Boys helped me out of one of my darkest times... and i'm so happy about finding them. I purple you. Thanks for your reaction 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Spring Day... This song hits so hard... This song was made at a very sad time in Korea, there was an accident in one of their trains where at least 97% were students, where people sacrificed their lives In order to save the lives of others, among them only very few were left alive, a devastating news that marked the history of Korea. This song was for all those people who suffered the loss of a loved one.
Ok so first of all I love your reaction to BTS mv and I am so happy that you actually got 4 members right and after you sow the deep side of BTS I Thought that you might wanna see the hiphop BTS therefore I recommend “no more dream” & “n.o” I hope you will make a reaction to them 😊 stay safe
im so glad u're enjoying Bangtan's music, life goes on was my first release as an army so i hold it close to my heart and that whole album really made it easier to get through the rest of the pandemic. now almost 3 years later im still here and i will never stop being an army. they are special, they really are. also yes!! you got their names right!!
Life goes on
I hope you all enjoy!!! I’m going to try and react to stray kids next!!!
OMG YES!!!! I already loved your reactions to BTS and now that you’re going to be reacting to my ult group is just so amazing 🫶🏼🥹 stray kids has a lot in store so prepare to be blown away! Ofc react to Gods Menu first but some other recommendations I have for SKZ are Thunderous, Easy, Awkward Silence(a VERY fun song), All In, Domino, Cheese, Venom, Charmer, Muddy Water, CHILL!!, Taste and DLMLU!! If you’re looking for a fun music video to watch, Maniac, Venom, Thunderous, Gods Menu and Case 143 are good ones 🫶🏼 SORRY FOR MY RANT LMAO😭
I hope you do, love yourself, 2!3!, and young forever too
I would really love your reaction to Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari...its long but never fear.....as long as your talking about our guys you take as long as you like. We all love your reaction and enjoy seeing you.
Army's love it doesn't matter how long it is. We are here and we love long video's 😊
If you'd react to Bangtan 7 you'll learn about what the guys mostly do and what they each contribute to the group.
Thank you young man ❤💜💜💜💜💜💜💜❤
YESSS!!!!
Rip to your ears 😵💫
Spring Day references to the Sewol Ferry Disaster (April of 2014) in Korea which left about 300 kids/children dead or missing (a couple survived), as far as I know this song is to memorialize those poor souls. May they all rest in peace
Reading this made my jaw drop. May they all rest in peace and their families be comforted!
@@rachael02126 Saved me a lot of typing with your comment. Thanks. 😄👍
This should be pinned💜
Thank you for that
Let me tell you the background story of "Life Goes On"...
Remember all this hit hard... A lot of emotions came by...
I like your bts reactions and you seem genuinely into the music which is amazing .. you actually got the 4 members right 👍 keep it up.
Thank you for the confirmation 🙏🏾 also I thank you so much for taking time out of your day to watch the video 🫡
spring day MV has a very specific (and heart breaking) reference.
if you ever want to watch an explanation video, there's a good one by an Italian army (just search spring day explanation by Italian army and it will cone up). it's worth checking out, whetheryou do a reaction or not. it will make sense of a lot of the scenes in the MV and make you understand why this song is still charting years later.
Just a warning the video it super sad and hard to watch
@@amberpearce710 Yes, I remember when it happened, watched in on NBC news.

Silver spoon (dance practice video)
Dope
Run
I need u
Save me

House of Cards (full length)
Gosh there’s more but I think this is a pretty good list for now. It’s mostly older songs that you’ll get a lot of love for looking at!
Great suggestions!! Love Baepsae (Silver Spoon) and highly recommend the dkdtv explanation video that goes with it, it truly helps you to realize the depth of their commitment to lyricism and messaging. plus it's a fun song clapping back at the older generation
but all these songs I would love to see a reaction to
i love your reactions!!
you did get the members correct in life goes on!! im glad you enjoyed that song :)
I thank you so much for taking time out of your day and watching
@@brochiachekpop thank you for taking the time to listen to the boys :)!!
All these songs meaning summed up
Black swan:loosing passion for something(in this case music)
Fake love: changing yourself for others and loosing yourself in the process
Spring day: like many have told you it’s about the Sewol ferry disaster(the mv) but the song is about missing someone and endlessly waiting for what seems eternity and wanting to let go but not being able to
Life goes on: (pandemic song btw) it talks about struggles between the pandemic and not being able to preform and hoping it’ll end soon
When you were all giddy that they indeed had another part of "like an echo in the forest" line at the end got me giggling too 🤣 that was so cute
Sweetie! It makes me sad to hear you say you don't want to waste our time! We're here because we want to spend time with you! Take all the time you want 🤗 loving your reactions, you notice a lot, it's fun reliving the videos through your eyes 💜 much love to you
Edit: there was another melody in the running for Life Goes On, Suga put it on his new album D-DAY, maybe you'd like that one too 💜

-anpanman
-baepsae (silver spoon)
-Gogo (these first three are like hype music but the meanings behind them r interesting)
-The truth untold (truly a beautiful masterpiece)
-euphoria(jungkook’s solo, idk how to describe it but I get emotional when I see the mv and hear the song)
-serendipity (perfectly describing Jimin’s vibe/ Jimin’s solo)
-epiphany(Jin’s solo, whenever I have insecurities I listen to this song and it always calms me down)
-the astronaut (also Jin’s solo, shit made me cry)
-intro boy meets evil (a rlly impactful mv and song)
-wings trailer (it has a remix of outro wings but the trailer’s visuals are so ahead of it’s time. Gorgeous)
-trivia :just dance (a vibe honestly)
-ego (Jhope’s solo)
-interlude shadow (yoongi’s solo, this mv and song left me speechless)
-lights (it’s a Japanese song so if you do react to it be careful about copyright issues!)
-heartbeat (BTS World game soundtrack)
-dream glow (also a BTS World soundtrack)
-we are bulletproof pt 2 and we are bulletproof the eternal (two very diff sounding songs but they both slap)
-I need you(the mv and song still gives me goosebumps till this day)
-UGH! and Ddaeng (rap line popped off in this)
-Wild Flower (namjoon’s indigo album, the mv is stunning and so is the song)
-Airplane pt 2(a perfect example of showing the versatility in their music genres)
-My universe (stunning outer space galaxy visuals , collab with Coldplay and beautiful song and lyrics)
Fake Love might be a little confusing imagery-wise because it's a part of their (very dark) fictional storyline.
I love how he kept replaying that part in life goes on
It has a special playing in my heart I’ve listened to it every day since 2020 now it’s like my lullaby to fall asleep
Thank you for the reaction
Black Swan is a song based off a quote by Martha Graham, a famous dancer. Her quote was « A dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing, and that first death is the most painful »
So here in this song bts is talking about their fear of losing their love and passion for music
As you can notice suga opens up the song saying « the music no longer makes the heart race, that would be my first death I’ve been always afraid of »
I also saw some theories about the « do your thang with me now » it’s like Bts is talking to their fans, asking them to support them, and the « what’s my thang tell me now » some people see it as if they represent how an artist can be oppressed by the « fans »that always try to control them
Rm talked about how they were planning to take their hiatus during the era when black swan was released, but then COVID happened and they chose to stay to cheer up army
They also talked about dynamite being an unplanned comeback, how they released that song just to bring some happiness
During the festa 2022, they also talked about how they were feeling burnt-out, that they needed a break long ago and that they were finally having it
Fake love - about loving youself, if you cant love yourself you cant loce anyone else...
FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just watching your other bts reactions for the first time lol - love your channel, keep it up :)
I’m glad you enjoy the videos 💜
please make sure to always play the videos all the way through. sometimes there is more, even after you think the MV has ended. you missed the last few seconds of black swan
I just went back but I’m honestly confused on what the shadow thing was before he walked away
Spring Day is such a beautiful song. In honor of those lost. And those we still miss. 💜
I love how you immediately knew exactly what black swan was about just like 30 seconds into the song lol! Awesome
This was an amazing video, thank you for reacting and enjoying the music 💜 I cant even pick a fave from the ones you reacted these songs are all special in the fandom tbh 😅
WE NEED ANOTHER UPLOAD PLEASE YOURE MY FAVORITE REACTOR RN LOL I LOVE YOU
BTS ❤❤✨✨
Don’t ever feel you are wasting our time. We love our boys so much and are loving watching you appreciate them. So cool how you picked up on things immediately and catch things many miss in the videos. They are very deep, emotional, and loving. Welcome to the “Army”
💜🫰🏻
BTS has very deep messages within their songs. I suggest watching the Spring Day explanation video. It'll really make you realize how deep their message goes.
Yep, you got the members right. great job! These are all deep and great songs for different reasons.
OMG no way!!! We have the same biases: Jimin, j-hope, and SUGA! And yes, you most definitely got the members right! 3 more to go!
I loved when you rewinded, I couldn't get enough of life goes on either. Especially "like an echo in the forrest" Thank you for your reaction!
Black Swan is about Depression
Fake Love is obviously self explanatory by name
Spring Day is about missing someone (Sewol Ferry Victims🥺)
Life Goes On is about how our life stopped during covid 19 lockdown
All the songs doneduring covid and just prior to are so emotional for me and others, but Life Goes On is just the best to me. Spring Day, "the queen" is in a class by herself. You will never regret listening to and liking BTS.
Looking forward to more bts reactions and your new beginning of becoming ARMY 💜
subscribed 😊👍
Your reaction to life goes on was adorable. And yes you got their names right
BTS is the best cause of the lyrics and music that they compose which sets them apart from other groups that do not have the same creative freedom as BTS has...and they create magnificent magical music 💜💜💜
Life goes on is such a positive vibe.
you should watch "tear" & "ugh" its soo good, take ur time reacting bro dont put too stress urself!
Yes you got those 4 right and, left to right, in the back you have Jin, JK and V
thank you so much for enjoying bts’ music! don’t worry about the video being too long, personally I prefer genuine reactions like this. you made my day with this reaction, I hope you have a wonderful day!!
You got it right!!! ❤ and jimin and Vs voice at the end together is sooo beautiful and i too love that chorus
You are in for an incredible ride, buckle up...Also, watch the MMA stage performance of Dionysus
If you’re looking for more fun songs next time, I’d go with Dynamite, Fire, and Idol. Fire is one of their earlier songs and it’s really catchy
If interested in knowing more about Idol (and the Korean culture/wordplay/BTS history) I recommend:
-Dkdktv explanation video
-Xceleste’s explanation video (just stop when she starts taking about the BU/theories)
They don’t overlap too much but both give important insight, in my opinion.
They describes how their heart no longer races when music is played and compare this feeling to that of death
Fake love: "if you're not true to yourself, your love won't last forever". In the song they talk about how they changed everything about their personality to be "perfect" in the eyes of their significant other (pretend they're okay when they're not etc.) and not being able to recognize themselves anymore
Spring day: came out three years after the sinking of the Sewol ferry, a disaster in which an improperly inspected, overloaded, and unbalanced ferry capsized on an overnight journey. 250 South Korean students died on that ferry (it is believed they were more people who died since they sadly couldn't find all the bodies)
Life goes on: The song is about having strength during difficult times. It came out during the pandemic so it was also made for people (especially the fans) to keep going even in hard times. BTS also thought about disbanding so it was also a way to tell themselves to keep fighting and that there would come better times
Some more suggestions
-Blood, sweat, & tears
-I need you
-Dope
-Set me free pt. 2 and like crazy(Jimin solos)
You got em right! That scene was also Jin, Jungkook, and V(Taehyung) sitting in the back. So glad you're enjoying the boys they are amazing.
Life goes on hits different ❤🥺by the way i like your reactions , please do more bts
I recommand
The truth untold lyrics and live ( its vocal line song)
I am so in love with BTS and enjoyed your first reaction to them. Glad to see you are back for more! There are other groups I listen too but only a few songs because BTS are my babies #Army #Borahe
💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜🫰🏻
Black Swan is one of my personal favorites, it's such a beautiful song about such a dark topic
Jungkook made his MV directorial debut on the song Life Goes On. There's a UA-cam video of the behind the scenes of his directorial debut if you're interested.
The pause at the beginning of spring day, your expression and the « …. Huh. » before wordlessly playing the sound… I just… hahahaha
i like your reactions so much , i recommad
dope , fire and ddaeng
Gracias por la reacción retrocedí en el tiempo, recordando a bts antes de la pandemia y “life goes on “ me llevo a ese tiempo difícil y recordar como mi amado bts nos trató de sostener fue una gran ayuda. Saludos 🇨🇱💜💜💜💜💜
J-hope is my bias. I adore all of the guys so much, but my ears love the way Hobi raps. It's just so lyrical and almost playful. His verse in Wings is awesome.
Just want to tell you something
Pretty sure army already said it to first and i am going to say it again
Dont worry about how longe the video is we will watch it with you from the beginning to the very end
We love seeing people fall in love with our boys and we love seeing every second of it
And we can feel the emotions that we had while watching a certain song through you
And let me tell you something we watched a butter melt for two hours just because it was bts
We army are not only suppurative and protective to bts but to eachother as will
So feel comfortable to share your thoughts we will never judge you
And i also request the introduction to bts members by Tylor
You are going to love it it's abit too long but you wont even feel like it and it will help you with knowing the members more
Have a good day and i purple you 💜
Got yourself a new subscriber. Can't wait to see you go down the BTS rabbit hole. WELCOME!
I love you diving headfirst into the BTS rabbit hole with no care in the world. 🎉
So Black Swan was part of the album they dropped supposedly before enlistment and talked about their feelings of burnout.
You should watch “BTS:tiny table concert”, just beautiful
You are so sweet. Thanks for your genuine reactions. The depth of BTS’s songs is why they are so special. 💜
I enjoy watching your reactions! I'm a big BTS fan myself and I'm glad you seem to like them!!!
33:48 honestly i feellll youuuu. Life Goes On is a beautiful songggg. It was number 1 in my Spotify wrapped last year, i literally couldn’t stop listening to it😂
Did you say, Dang? Now you have to listen to BTS' DDaeng, and, it's interpretative video. 😀😀😀😀 The 2020 MMA Awards performances are magnificient.
You'll really enjoy their live performances
You mentioned that your favorite is J-Hope, Suga, and Jimin. All three of them have their own solo albums. J-Hope's is Jack in the Box, Suga has 3 albums (Agust D, D-2, and D-Day), and Jimin's is FACE.
I recommend you listen to Daechwita (from D-2), More (from Jack in the Box), and Like Crazy (from FACE) whenever you have the time. They're really good songs. My favorite one is More by J-Hope .
such a sweet reaction love this
i love life goes on, it came out during the pandemic and i remember when this came out it made me so happy it was like they were saying it’ll pass and life will continue as if nothing happened.
No matter how upbeat a BTS song is, it can be one of the darkest songs with the deepest message and meaning
Jimin is my bias...i loved your reaction ❤
You have to see RM and his song "Joke" + Suga aka August D "HAEGUM" go for it and will see another side of BTS... it's unbelievable ❤
Life goes on was directed by JK, the youngest member, who has a passion for filming and editing
Hoping for you to react to thier funny moments or introduction/guide.... i started exploring them by a funny moments video 😂(lol) seeing that i couldn't even tell they were celebrities, they are so down to earth people. And no.1 comedians 😂❤
This is your beginning of your journey of becoming army💜 and trust me this moment is the most precious and amazing moment , which i really miss of me trying to learn thier names, how they started, how's the friendship between them...everything!
Yes you got the names right. I love your reactions to BTS as I am an Army.
Black Swan should've gotten air play and some American awards.
I really love your BTS reactions! Thank you! I hope you keep going😊💜
i love how youre really just enjoying yourself along with the songs
Great reaction thanks they are amazing
Ok so first of all I love your reaction to BTS mv and I am so happy that you actually got 4 members right and after you sow the deep side of BTS I Thought that you might wanna see the hiphop BTS therefore I recommend “no more dream” & “n.o” I hope you will make a reaction to them 😊 stay safe
Loving your reactions. You catch so much. Life Goes On is one of my favorites. It didn’t get near enough love imo. 💜
You’re very intuitive and it’s refreshing in a sea of new reactors who’s intentions are becoming more and more questionable. So, thank you.
im so glad u're enjoying Bangtan's music, life goes on was my first release as an army so i hold it close to my heart and that whole album really made it easier to get through the rest of the pandemic. now almost 3 years later im still here and i will never stop being an army. they are special, they really are.
also yes!! you got their names right!!
Im soo impressed by the way u recognized everyone so fast!!! 💜💜💜
On the bed... left to right : RM, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, V, Jimin, J-Hope
I love their reactions, ... that's why I just subscribed to your channel. I recommend No More Dream, Dope, Fire, We Are Bulletproof
Life goes on
the loss of passion/love for whatever it is you create is the first death.
Good job! You got their names right. I am loving your reactions. Can’t wait for more. 💜
