The baby wasn't tattooed, it a) was Indian and b) the ink was "just" painted-on henna, a traditional and ceremonial paint made from plant juice that turns dark when exposed to oxygen; kinda like back in the days, when we used to "tattoo" ourselves by painting onto our arms with dandelion sap. 😂
