Honor 7X initial review! Hello there, I have had the Honor 7X for about 48 hours now and I want to share with you my initial review of the device and discuss everything that I have learned so far using the phone. In this video I forgot to discuss battery life but it has been solid so far, I have been averaging about 4-5 hours screen on time and standby has been better than other phones in this price range I have reviewed!

Please Please stop comparing this to phones that cost $700 or $800.00. It would be best to compare it to other phones in it's price range. When you compare it with flagship phones you make it sound like it's not worth the $200.00 price tag.
Well I actual think its useful. Since most people have apple or Samsung devices you can really understand what this device is like going off his review and comparing it to a real s8 in your hands. If you don't have an s8 you mom or dad prolly does, If they don't then you cousins or freinds. The point is to get a good understanding of this phone compare it to phone you have used

What really pissed me off is when he complained about viewing angles when the brightness was litteraly at like 50% Turn it up to 100 THEN compare viewing angles
Seemed like it was a one sided review. I know hands down that android 7.0 is more optimized than android 6.0 . Also 3GB Ram isn't enough? It Is overkill now days phone doesn't need more Ram. Plus it has sd card slot. Sounds like to me he is more flagship reviewer. Not everyone wants to spend $800-$1000 on a phone.

Nice review Nick. I got the Red Version of 7x that is exclusive only here in China. And it's amazing for only 200 bucks. Love it. More power to your channel Nick. Hope you will do more honor 7x reviews. And I'm just thinking when will honor 7x get his Oreo update.

Please suggest a way to solve the UA-cam freezing problem in honor 7x
The Honor 7x actually has a better camera than the Moto G5 Plus. But in video recording, I think the Moto G5 Plus would win. And the audio for the speaker doesn't matter since it has a headphone jack and has Huawei Histen which is tuned by Grammy Award-Winning Record Engineer Rainard Maillard for even better sound quality.
200$ in US €300 in ireland, for €100 + extra i can get an LG G6, doesnt really justify the pricing in europe, on top of that XA2 and Moto G5s plus are better options in that price range of €300
How is the vibration strength on this device? I keep missing notifications while on 'Silent' with other phones, and need a phone with a strong vibrate... Is this a good option?

Leave animation scale at .5. Don't listen to this guy constantly hating on this phone. It does not need 4gb of ram. One of the worst reviews I have ever seen.
I'm currently using a galaxy j7 and I've had no problems with it for the past 2 years and that phone only has 1.5 gb of ram. It's starting to slow down now but it just goes to show that most phones don't need 4 gb of ram. If anything having a phone with 4 or more gb of ram is more of a novelty then a necessity imo.
The need of RAM per phone type is different from each manufacturer, depending the optimization they have done to the phone hardware/software. EMUI is a heavy skin over stock Android, even heavier than TouchWiz. Apple gets away with little RAM, due to their super-optimized software of their own and they match their hardware to it. But when it comes to junkyard hopping for parts (budget phones), things may not work out as well, having the phone made from spare parts or watered down parts from flagship phones and throw in a lesser optimized skin like EMUI, and these phones are begging for 4-6GB of RAM to do the same what a 1GB or 2GB iphone or Samsung can do.
I want this as a second device.

I just tested the finger print scanner speed on my note 8 and it's the same speed or faster.

Well it isn't an iPhone so it shouldn't have a iPhone looking software. But then I guess when u r so used to iPhone u probably happy about it. But as Android user u don't want some apple iOS software on ur Android phone. U get Android because it is different then iOS and reminds u that u have the more capable os with Android.

Nathan Manns I would not. Nothing wrong with it but it's graphics chip is not made for gaming. It's first a mali (not bad but there is better) and then it is a mp2 which is not good for gaming. Look for a phone that has mp4. Like the honor 8's T880MP4.

I think you don't have any idea about mid range and flagship mobile .....evry time you compared honor 7x with galaxy S8 lol ....galaxy s8 is flagship of 2017 and its price is more than 7x so why you again and again compare with Samsung galaxy S8 , it's huge difference between S8 and honor 7x ...LOL🤣🤣🤣
Himanshu Oza I noticed this too and was super confused. On one hand I guess you can say it's a testament to how amazing this phone is that he has to compare it with Flagships. But then again phones like the Moto G 5Plus or Nokia 6 would've made much more sense, similar price point.
