Didn’t realise it was a 900 mile round trip but it was made more than worth it thanks to BOA. Made the journey twice now this season and back again for our first midweek game in December. Get along if you can people it’s a fantastic place to be.
Just binge watched the first two seasons. I know I'm three years out of date (1 year for this season) but it is so good. My favourite program is the 24 hour access NHL show where the team is followed by a camera crew before the winter classic. This is as good as that professional show. Congratulations to you all for this. I am in awe of you all. ♥️
the fact they got promoted and you still do the series is brilliant thought there might’ve been some restrictions or a price on it. quality stuff as always
Chesterfield fan here, just want to say how good this series is, and how good the manager is for you, clearly the players are taking his advise on and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if you go for promotion in the coming few years.
I hope this channel grows exponentially, but there's something so perfect about the premise. Charlwood was so wholesome, but you've got a different beast here. I reckon a lot of folks watching have played for clubs at a level similar to where Dorking have been competing around in recent years. That adds relatability. But with Marc and the structures he's put in place, there's this dynamism to Dorking. They've already smashed through a couple of glass ceilings and when you listen to him speak about pissing around their territory, you get the impression that he's not slowing down. Nobody is praying for you when you're winning, and Marc has instilled a siege mentality within those players and he's kept turnover low, which is key. The access BoA are granting us is so insightful, and in years to come I reckon Rich will be fighting off the Sky cameras.
I discovered Dorking from watching Welcome to Wrexham and loved Marc, who lives and breathes football as it used to be. I fell out of love with football because it became a game played by multi millionaires who fall over writhing in agony because of a gust of wind. Ryan Reynolds is Hollywood but a lot of premier league players could give him acting lessons. The quality of the editing and storytelling is top class. The football is full blooded and real. Keep it up guys. Hope you get promotion in 23/24 now that you have had a season in the Vanarama to acclimatise.Very well played this season.
Came all the way from LA for this one, fantastic experience! Thanks to BoA for introducing me to such a wonderful club. Hope to see Dorking in the football league in the future ❤
First I've seen it but it's great that the boys can try and give a bit back and Marc can take it on board and review it. His mentality about watching it back in the days after the game are far better then going mad in the changing room and crushing morale
No idea how i found BOA but i am glad i did and have now watched a good few episodes. I think it's all brilliant and I hope it grows further. Very true about National league and it almost being a League 3 because it pretty much is now, all nearly Pro with a lot of teams who have been in the football league, it's changed a lot over the years and most teams going up don't struggle to much.
So good to see you back. Even better that it was so long ago the season started I've forgotten the results. I have to get to dorking this season with my kid. They are becoming a lot of folks second team. Mine behind Newcastle obviously, who by the way are 4th🤣🤣🤣. Well played lads, seriously, a good result against one of the best teams in the league.
Not sure how Billy joe doesn't start, always looks like one of the best players to me, always creating chances. This game screamed for a Prior like striker to get on the end of those crosses, but i get they're not easy to find. I'd say a good point in the end, love this series btw keep it up!
Only just stumbled across this series now, incredible and I can’t turn it off. As a Sligo Rovers fan, love to see our ex Manager Cookie doing well across the water❤️
As a Chesterfield fan this is top class. I was right behind the goal so could see myself and great to see how teams prepare for us and Paul Cook talking to Marc made me laugh 😂 Top work from you and i wish we had something like this, ive heard that Chesterfield are supposed to be doing something with BOA if you can give anymore information on that?
Not that I am aware of - we gave the club some footage of DJ when he signed and in return they said we can definitely shoot the Dorking game at their place. That's probably it!
Appreciate the work you put in! Just an idea if it is simple enough to do. Again, huge fan of the channel. Based in Southend, will be in the away end when the boys come to Roots hall
@@lukewhiting2498 Appreciate where you are coming from. The aim is for the show to be more documentary than sports coverage so we tend to avoid too many on-screen graphics. We'll mention the time in the narration if it's relevant to the passage of play.
What a journey you guys have been on.. incredible story!. Being from Notts i will be there cheering you on in the reverse fixture during the international break 👍
Yeah what I haven’t figured out is how the club transitioned from unserious to semi-serious levels of the amateur game, at which point you’re still amateur but you still need to attract amateur players of a good standard
Episodes are about 20% longer and are released 2-4 days earlier. You also get director commentaries, behind the scenes videos and 2-3 updates from the edit suite each week.
Is there ote you lot don’t call for 😂 2 yellows first half and your gaffer has the cheek to say the one on dobra wasn’t a foul and the dive was a penalty 😂

Who do you support back home mate? 👀😂
I'm not one of those people who hit like without seeing the video, but I make an exception for BoA. Always quality content.

We thought there might be... but here we are!
Chesterfield fan here, unbelievably good content for division 5 football. Everyone at Dorking should be very proud. Best of luck this season!

Sky will never, ever be allowed to touch BoA.
Looking forward to this one for a while!
Same trying not to spoil the Google the resumt
I love it when Marc turns the honesty meter up to 11 🤣. It's so refreshing to see, especially in the world of football.

That kid from chesterfield got his season prediction bang on! Chesterfield top 3, and Dorking lower mid table!
Wow, the Ernest Byner reference is deep!! Respect from a Browns fan.

08:52 well that kid got it all great prediction
A a kiwi and a fellow Charlton fan loving this series keep the good work Rich
About time this started again
Just wanted to add, I love the sound track to the documentaries, perfect. Well done to whomever creates or finds them.

Marc mate, you’re an absolute gem. You deserve everything positive coming your way. What a story this club has. 👏🏼👏🏼
8:51 this kids prediction was spot on!
UA-cam's best channel IMO, more great work, Rich
Opposing manger sounds like Stephen French , almost thought it was him for a second 😂 great show gents as always!! 👊🏼
Great work - particularly enjoyed the Ernest Byner reference!
We suspect many won’t get that. We did have to Google “most infamous fumbles”.
Favorite channel on UA-cam, amazing 👍
How I’ve only just uncovered this UA-cam channels has baffled me wow I’ve been missing out ps mark is a fuxking legend
Buzzing!

Fab yet again rich. Well done
1:16 JASON THE KITMAN😍😍😍😍
Lots of love and respect for you Marc
But just remember
When you play Chesterfield, they can’t even build a straight spire
Can I suggest you identify what minute we are in during each highlight. Love this channel!
You absolutely can suggest that.
Appreciate the work you put in! Just an idea if it is simple enough to do.

Dorking league 2 within 2years.,👍💪🔥
9:41 you get a loads of ags ?
I haven't seen someone block a kick that aggressively since U12 rec haha

“Stab the ball as if he was a teenager on the streets of croydon” 😂😂
Great stuff as usual. Do any Dorking season records before 2007-08 exist? I have looked but cant find anything
You'd have to ask the club if anyone kept records. Seems unlikely, clubs at that level largely rely on websites.
Yeah what I haven’t figured out is how the club transitioned from unserious to semi-serious levels of the amateur game, at which point you’re still amateur but you still need to attract amateur players of a good standard
oldham reckoning that they will get 15k is impressive given their ground has a capacity of 13.5k
🤣
@@BunchOfAmateurs tbf he corrected himself to 10k at the end. still not actually what they were expecting but at least it was possible.
Great episode. Anyone know when winger Griggs is back fit
You mean briggs
@@kasimhussain93 that’s how long it’s been 😂😂👍
He's running again...
@@BunchOfAmateurs good to hear 👍
Can anyone tell me when Matt Briggs is sue to be back playing?
We're hopeful before Christmas but no guarantees.
If I’m on patreon are there up to date videos for the season or not?
No, but you get a load of extra content and get to see the videos about 3 to 4 days early
Episodes are about 20% longer and are released 2-4 days earlier. You also get director commentaries, behind the scenes videos and 2-3 updates from the edit suite each week.
Big fan of Ryan Seager sat in every team talk and you can see the cogs of his brain thinking "what the f*** is he going on about"
Nice video
“stabs the ball as if he were a teenager on the streets of Croydon” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was watching this asking where the new signing Yusupha Jallow is and Morgan Wigley are. The realized Thats my FM22 save.
Very strange to see this recommended to me as I’m from chezzy lol
Well that doesn't seem strange at all!
the ref was embarrassing to watch😂😂
Chesterfield, east midlands? I dont think so 🫣
We can only apologise - we're not sure where we got that from!
Chesterfield is in the East Midlands
chesterfield is in derbyshire....which is in the east midlands..
Not offended by it but chesterfield is certainly not east mids. Just midlands in general would be more accurate but still not quite right
@@tomschofield3702 Chesterfield IS in the East Midlands mate. Always has been.
Great episode, rather watch this and the Wrexham shows, then all that Premier League rubbish.
McManus needs to grow a pair
Gg
I stood on a hornets nest when I was a kid, annoying little bastards they are! Just like Chesterfield!
#upthedorking
Is there ote you lot don’t call for 😂 2 yellows first half and your gaffer has the cheek to say the one on dobra wasn’t a foul and the dive was a penalty 😂
Sorry but how stupid is their keeper to do something like that when he knows they dont have another one??
Back in the national south next season 😅
Huge fan of the show but that Croydon stabbing joke was really distasteful I'm afraid.
Was it too close to the bone?
@@BunchOfAmateurs good one 😂😂
@@user-rf6pc6wn5d lol who the hell is dying?
As someone who spent his youth drinking in Croydon trying not to get stabbed, it felt pretty on point 😂
Is it just me who find the manager annoying, take some pointers off Ian evatt
I wonder why Mark decides to not wear Dorking clubwear on matchdays. Comes off so unprofessional, eventhough the whole club oozes ambition.
Great comeback should of been a win. But we move on
