Just as I thought Freepik would be helpful and apparently it's not! Freepik licensing itself is an absolute bs. I'll never understand the need to do extra modification when users purchased a design for print on demands. Adobe Stock seems to be reliable so far.
On Sept 2022, your earning on Shutterstock is $300, may I know how many vectors you have at the moment? I'm just afraid that my work goes to waste even I believe I got the quality
Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience on these sites, it's very helpful. I'm curious, what kind of images are you uploading? (Photographs, vectors, mockups, icons...?) I have the impression that different stock sites attract customers that look for specific types of resources, so that might also be a factor to keep in mind when choosing a stock site.
You are right. This is an important factor. I sell vectors/illustrations. This is why I mentioned in the video that for those who are selling Photographs, these platforms might behave differently.
Shutterstocks keeps rejecting my illustrations even though all the other platforms are accepting them. Most of my earnings are from adobe stock and im thinking about leaving shutterstock because its a pain to reupload images there. Really sad
@@zeedign i have to resize my images with ai to give them a higher resolution and they look way better after that but shutterstock doesnt like that for some reason. But all the other platforms are accepting them and they are beeing sold. I dont know what the problem for shutterstock is
Hello, sir. I hope you are doing well. I have a question and I hope you notice my comment. For example, if I have only one vector graphic for now and I want to sell it to these platforms, could you please give me some advice? Is it possible to sell this one vector graphic to all the platforms you mentioned? Thanks
Yes, you can sell the same artwork at multiple digital stock agencies, as long as you are the original designer of that vector. Otherwise any 3rd party artwork would get reported at some stage, and that could get your account suspended.
Hi dear friend. Thank you for the video. I have a question: Can I upload all my images and files to all these sites? I mean to upload the file on all these sites. Isn't it forbidden? Grateful Good luck.
You can sell your artwork at as many platforms as you can. This is not forbidden, as long as you are the original designer of the artwork. However, some platforms provide better rates for "Exclusive Designs", i.e. you declare that you are selling some particular design ONLY at their website, and no where else.
Thank you my dear friend for this video. I had a question. After registering and uploading the first photo in shutterstock, how long did it take to get the income? I have uploaded several designs. But after two weeks, it has not been downloaded even once.
it depends. if there is someone who buys your design, then you will make the money eventually. If you dont have any sales yet, perhaps you can try improving your design, fixing your keyword, or making designs based on ongoing trends
So i've just started to make a bit of money on adobe stock, I didn't make anything for about 8 months as I've been uploading very slowly and I only had about 10 images up. Once i hit 20 images I got a sale, now 3 weeks later I have another one. It really seems as if volume is key and also having something unique since it was the images that were totally different to other adobe stock images that sold. Im still really new but hope that helps.
Yes, that's allowed. As long as you are the original designer of some artwork, and you can prove it if asked. However, some website have separate rates for Exclusive designs, that are being sold ONLY at their platform.
For a monthly average of 50 dollars, I would need approximately 200-250 good designs. That's just a guess, based on my personal experience. Others may have different experience. If you are not getting good results, there might be some problem with the designs you are targeting, or the quality of artwork. I have a Shutterstock related playlist on my channel where I have shared my strategies that worked for me. You can check those out for additional insight.
All digital stock agencies have non-exclusive content. They treat exclusive content differently. For example, iStock has 15% payout for non-exclusive designs, and 20% for exclusive designs.
Please answer this, can I upload the same images to multiple sites at the same day or should I need to wait till I get approval from one site then upload the same images to another site... Will they identify this as stealing?
Yes we can. As long as we are the original designer of the artwork, and can prove that, if asked. Also, some platforms offer better rates for Exclusive designs, that are only being sold at their website, and no where else.
