THANK YOU!!! That covers quite a few of gallons in my new airplane!!🥰 I appreciate it!
It really shows your attention to detail and learning your new plane....Even doing a voice over instead of trying to talk to the camera while learning your new plane. Looking great!
I wondered why there was a change in format 😂.
If only all male pilots and all UA-cam pilots would show the same respect to the discipline of aviation. It would be a safer place for everybody. Could also be that the CFI doesn’t want to be recorded.
I have a feeling she could of done it all live vs a voice over but I still loved watching Kay
Nose heavy ain’t she? I use 2 swipes of trim wheel nose up on short final. May have to push slightly nose forward initially but makes the flare with 1 hand easier. Also 100# in the rear baggage area helps. Love the Dynon panel.
I suspect 50-60 hours will be required to get comfortable, especially because you’re combining a much faster airplane with a whole new panel.
I really like the voice-over. Too many UA-camrs try to do too many things at once, which really compromises safety.
Again...I love how methodical and proper you are in following the process. Anyone should feel safe flying with you. Congrats on the new bird!
Trust me it will take more than the 10 hrs that the insurance company requires to get comfortable in the plane. Not only do things happen faster and you need to learn to think that much further ahead of the airplane, you now have two of everything and you went from fixed pitch propellers to constant speed propellers and turbo charged engines. Don't forget you are flying downwind faster than most of the single engine piston aircraft trainers cruise at
I'm sure you will do fine just make sure you are comfortable before putting yourself in challenging conditions.
Yes, we all believe you Mr/Mrs Anonymous. Why don’t you have the courage to identify yourself, knobber?
Thanks for this.👍
She already has her multi engine rating. Kaye is just getting familiar with this particular
aircraft.
@@AussieDazza There is a difference between legal and proficient.
Kay is very focused and takes her flying seriously! I would fly with her anywhere!
Great idea with voiceover giving your full attention to the flying and instruction
CFI may not have given permission to be recorded.
@@RetreadPhoto she mentioned weeks ago that she would not be filming everything
@@RetreadPhotoerm, he was recorded, did you not see him?
Thanks for bringing us along on your initial familiarization flights. You are to be commended tor that! Most would say that they needed to become familiar first, and then start filming later, which leaves out an important part of the story. You are brave enough to show the familiarization process which makes the resulting information more complete and accurate. Nobody starts off being an expert but that is where the more timid start their story. Congratulations on being more accurate in your depiction!!! Thanks for your high level of integrity!! You go girl! Do not let anybody shame you for your integrity!!!
Hey Kay I always wanted to be a pilot I’m 60 years old and I never got to accomplish the dream but watching you inspired me as well as others and I love your channel and God bless you and keep making more videos because you just made those dreams come true. again God bless you and take care and learn a plain girl.
In the pattern, concentrating, you are a pilot in the zone. Multi is a notch up in the taking care of business attitude and you got it Kay. Well done! Thanks for sharing. Cheers...
Thank you John! Appreciate the feedback!!
Congratulations Kay !!!! Love the plane and thank you bunches for taking us with you !! Love ya ❤
I’m excited for you getting to know your new plane. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you.
I give her 3 months
You are so welcome!
Excellent! You have a history of superior ADM and you are always ahead of your airplane. You and your Seneca will be like old friends before you know it and we look forward to your adventures and videos!
Congratulations Kay. You take flying seriously based on your knowledge and attention to detail. You parents raised you right, and should be very proud of your accomplishments.
Complex and Fast.
Looks like you're having fun...
Congratulations!
I loved the video and watching you on your latest adventure in your Seneca III, Piper plane...
The last time I was in a Seneca III was when my husband and I flew down to Florida from Pennsylvania with John Piper to help with their horses...
Have fun Kay...

First thing I noticed was the Instructor with his hands on the controls on takeoff. Then he messed with the mixture and prop right after takeoff. Then he had his hands on the controls on landing. I am a retired Delta Captain and a CFI. I was also a Line Check Airman that flew with new Captains and First Officers. I always had my hands close to the controls but never ON the controls. The pilot flying can feel you there. No professional crew member will put up with that.
this is just ''me'' and my opinion but you are a professional already, you know enough to fly any plane even if you do have to go through some training, you know how to get it up in the air and you know how to get it back down it makes me nervous to see a ''trainers'' hands on the yolk trying to take control while you are in control. to me, and yes only me, it would be better to just talk you through everything while keeping hands off...
I saw the 1st Seneca 1 Take off in 1971 in VRB. My Dad was on the Engineering team for the Seneca 1,2 3 and 5.
I think I told you already. My brother in law owned this model. I sat right seat many times. Awesome aircraft. He leased it back to the airport and never had to make one payment on it. Once it was paid off he donated it to a South American mission and then bought a Bellanca.
I realize that it's your first flight in this plane, but why wasn't Eric hands-off during the takeoff and landing? You're an experienced pilot; it seems that his verbal guidance would have sufficed, correct?
Congrats on the new plane. Looking forward to new adventures.
JAY BRILLIANT 👏👍👌✨
