Hi! Nice set up! Small question: Is everything connected to the usb hub or is your tablet connected straight to the m8 and only the scarlet is connected to the USB hub? Thanks!
The only thing connected to the USB hub is the scarlet solo. So the tablet is connected to the M8 monitor. I've noticed that if you want to run DeX in 4k 60Hz and connect your tablet via a USB hub or USB dock, then your monitor must have Thunderbolt 3 or 4 in order to do 60Hz (if that makes some kind of sence)... The M8 monitor does not have Thunderbolt 3 or 4, "only" usb c of some version...
@@mattiasanderssonSWE So having the Scarlett connected to the monitor are you able to get sound into the speakers from native apps from the monitor and the tablet?
@@davsynlee Yepp, at least from the tablet. The monitor is a bit limited, it's either the built in speakers or some bluetooth speakers. So when I connect the tablet, my media output is set to Headset, which is the scarlett solo. And when I unplugg, it defaults back to the tablet.
Thanks for the video! The dopo keyboard seems very nice, I've heard it's hard to use it with the pen, is it possible and handy to remove the keyboard/cover easily so to use it with a pen? (or on a couch with hands only)
Oops my bad. Thanks for the reply. I have a doubt, can I make it more customised? idk if it is possible or not, but i like to add a border/ frame attached to the magnetic part of keyboard for more stability, security and protection. So that I don't worry about magnet wether it works or not. BTW happy christmas 🎄🎉
No worries and happy Christmas to you as well 🙂 And for the modification questions... I don't know if that will work. But there are some pictures on Doqo's website that might help. See if you can download them somehow... And I think(but I'm not sure) that the black version is the best one if you want to attach something on the back. The texture are a bit different between the white one and the black one. If I remember correctly there are some close up shoots here - ua-cam.com/video/FR9BQK_1i3Q/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MattiasAndersson
Yes, it does. At least if you use the latest version of the keyboard-case (the one with the longer cutout on the back). A few times, there has been some issues with the scrolling. But if I turn off/on bluetooth on the tablet, it's all good afterwards...
I wish I could use my tablet as my main device. I have an s9 ultra but not having a true desktop browser hampers me. Btw have you tried running linux from the tablet? It's something I'd like to do but just haven't gotten around to it.
@@mattiasanderssonSWE i don't have Linux on the tablet. I haven't quite figured it out. I've seen online people saying to use Andronix to get Linux on the tablet
Never can get used to tablet or laptops open with a big screen concurrently. I'd always restrict myself to one to avoid distraction by setting the other to go off by closing up the laptop lid or closing the cover on my s8.
If you have any questions, you know what to do 🙂

will my tablet be able to connect with my audio komplete ( it is a samsung S9 )

I would say it's fairly easy to detach the tablet from the case. The magnets are quit strong, but not that strong 🙂
what is the background music you used at the beginning of the video?
That is Away by Patrick Patrikios 🙂
Can i get the doqo magic keyboard purchase link please?
There are a link down in the description, but here it is - www.doqo.shop/?ref=9cnwb9ae

Can you download and use apps from the Internet
As long as the apps are android apps, yes you can.
@@mattiasanderssonSWE so effectively it's just the same, but different layout
@@jaydenjones8198 Yes 🙂 It's still android in the background.
Does the trackpad scroll smoothly with the Dogo trackpad?

Do you run Linux on the tablet or do you connect to a linux server via ssh?
