German Dirtbiker Magazine editor in chief Busty Wolter tested the completely renewed KTM EXC modelrange 2017 during the official presentation in Spain.
Would you please comment on how the power has changed or how the 500 has changed or the improvements over past years that youve noticed? How about the claim the 500 is more agile and tractable?
all in all the bikes got lighter and better handling, through the whole range. The 500 is definitely more agile and has a smooth, usable powerband, so gets a lot of traction as well. And if it is slippery you can choose to activate the traction control, which is a good thing to have on the big bore bikes.
The bike at higher speeds is not as stable as prior years the weight sits to the front the problem can be sorted out with the linkage lowering brace but ktm should have thought that out before the release only the exc has the issue that I've noticed but I haven't been on every model but I've noticed I'm not the only one bringing this issue to light.
+Dirtbiker Magazine ..and where is the skill of the rider ? gently...it will be a sport for pussys...tc...abs...esp..the only reason that i ride bikes...is to be one with the machine...
thats are great bikes
How much gear oil does the 300 xcw takes?
Could it use a Recluse upgrade?

how is the new pds? feels better than the old ones?
yes, the whole bike is providing a complete new riding feel. The old and new bike is like comparing apples to ... plums ;-)

These KTM's 300's seem to have real good low-end.....do they?? I have never ridden one.
Desert Mountain Preppers unbelievable low end they tractor like no other never worry about stalling the xcw is amazing
I cant decide the KTM or the yamaha 250 2-stroke thanks
The yamaha is a fun, lightweight bike, but hands down I'd go KTM
1:36 is ja mal echt cool
yeah wot he said
Trop stylé
das ist ohne ec demfer
loot fun,to expensive buy ktm,140++ million rupiah,me only cant buy his lamp 😥
wtf....traction control >? why ?
because it works and especially on the big bikes in slippery conditions it is a help. You still feel like you control it, not some computer...

Good news: you don't HAVE to activate it. ;-) We also like it wide open, haha!
