Ill probably get the s24+ this year. But I'm debating whether to trade my z fold 5 or z flip5 for it. What do you think will be the best route to go?
get rid of the flip 5, the cameras are basically 3 years old in it@@javyvet.4391
I think the Plus is hands down the way to go this year.
That being said...at that price point you should probably just grab a Pixel 8 Pro.
@@rhaibi12 or possibly a one plus 12 (which will probably be cheaper) but i highly doubt they can match the update path. 7 years is a long time and battery swaps are relatively inexpensive
@@midnitestate I don’t have any experience with One Plus phones. I know a lot of people love them and I’m sure there’s a reason. Samsung has just been following and overly Apple route the passed few generations. I get it… building an ecosystem and creating brand loyalty and all. I just feel price to actual performance ratio especially this generation you’re going to get more bang for your buck with a Pixel and their camera and integrated AI features and software support than anything else. That aside I fully understand the Samsung polish on their hardware and specs… their phones run impeccably and have every bell and whistle you can imagine.
@@rhaibi12 I agree on the pixel overall having better software and more useful at that. Samsung makes a great product but having alot of the bloat tagged on with the ai stuff (which most ill never use or need) being a service down the road is lame. The one plus 12 is a BEAST of phone but its going to come down to pricing as they usually under cut sammy by a good margin and now are offering decent trade ins. That said, their software r and d and consistency isn't the best imo (despite it also being extremely smooth and well thought out)
@@midnitestate as someone who has always double downed on Samsung and Apple's latest devices I'm really coming to realize that a Pixel truly is the happy medium between the two. I skipped the S23 Ultra last year and went with the Fold 5. I took a gamble this year and picked up a Pixel 8 Pro a week ago and I'm really loving the hell out of it.
You are missing several things Gorilla glass armor is only on the ultra not plus. Ultra has a titanium frame, it also has WiFi 7 the plus is WiFi 6e. The ultra screen glass also has an anti reflective coating and is 4x more scratch resistant. Everyone also seems to forget that the ultra has laser assisted auto focusing the plus does not. Ultra has the spen, 5x camera and slightly larger battery. From reports iv read of users testing the phones the speaker quality is better on the s24 ultra and camera quality is also better on ultra version. Are all these things worth $300 more not sure it does make it more difficult to justify the ultra because the plus is close but if you want the best you still have to go ultra.
Thank you for the extra info...im literally holding my cash in my hand now deciding on what to do LOL
Lol@@furshizzle
Plus it has UWB, not particularly useful for most people now, but it's a nice future proof feature.
Probably not most people don't even have Wi-Fi 7 and in terms of future proofing most people who buy the ultra phones upgrade every couple years anyways so having it is a future proof option doesn't really matter either on top of that a lot of people just use screen protectors so the glass doesn't matter at all The speaker difference isn't noticeable to most people unless you're an audio file and the battery life will probably end up being identical considering that it's only 100 milliamps difference and you have a smaller screen so the phone uses less power regardless
@@The_MEMEphisGreat points!
The Ultra is worth it if you have a device that gets a $600 credit as a trade in. I finally managed to order the 1TB version S24 Ultra at $791 with the trade in of my Note 20 Ultra 5G (now over 3 years old) and a $41 military discount. If I can get the best version at $800, I say go for it. Life is short so don't settle. I plan to keep the new phone for 3 years or more so its worth it for me.
Should keep it for 10yrs..
I got the s24+ with smart watch for the same price
Same 😂@@TheHammy118
Unless that device is the Fold 4 lol. Agree on the note 20 ultra and flip 4/5 though.
Yep, I got my S24 U with student discount for 760, and I got cashback to bring it down to around 690 tax and such. I also am trading in my N20U for 600 off. Cant wait for a flat screen again! the curve is so hard to protect, I even got free Samsung buds pro 2 along with it for free. Already got my Otter box defender pro and screen protectors coming before I even get the phone.
That was exactly my thought process. Went from s22 ultra to s24 plus for 350$ after trade in. A no brainer.
How you like it? I need to upgrade still got the s9 plus 😆 im looking at the s24 plus but also liking the folding phones i might wait for the z fold and flip 6 man so many great phones out here.
I made the exact same switch. Tired of the boxy frame and i barely used the S Pen, so may as well get the comfier phone that's substantially cheaper. Plus my S22U had terrible battery life from day 1, so anything is worth getting rid of the horrible heating and battery issues
I'm making the same switch too from S22Ultra to S24+. Only thing I'm worried about is camera, hopefully it's not a huge difference but I can't justify getting the ultra when it's almost the same and not worth $260 more imo
I switch from S22 Ultra to S24 plus with $650.00 trade in double the memory (512 GB) @ pre order on Samsung website....plus pay $19 for Galaxy buds pro 2....they make me offer i can't refuse..
@@luisgalvez4303broo we are the same. Im also still using my S9 Plus hahahaha. Already 6 years phone
I listened to this video on the way to Best Buy before trying them both and totally agreed. Then, I took a picture of some balloons from across the store.. The difference in picture quality, sharpness and clarity, of the Ultra, blew my mind. It was a 30x zoom and it looked as clear as a 5x on my iPhone 15 Pro. I am blown away.
I've been rocking the Ultra for the past couple years. This time around I pre-ordered the Plus Variant
What do you think of the plus model
@@pharxahghxst3654 haven't gotten it yet lol.
I went with the plus due to less weight than the Ultra
I have used S-pen phones since Note8 and I rarely found myself even using the pen, so this time it's S24+ for me, too.
what do you do that the difference in weight between the 2 makes any difference to your day? genuinely curious@@williamdottin3815
Save the $300 go with the S24+ and grab a Samsung Watch to go with it! Most folks have no use for the Ultra camera the S24+ with 12GB RAM will sing all day!
Watch 6 Classic w/physical bezel was nice upgrade for me from Watch 3
In EU no watch and no snapdragon. So no 24+ for me.
Missing a few things, but it's already been mentioned in the comments. I was going to get the plus until I went to Best Buy and played with them both. The Ultras camera compared to the plus was the difference for me. Plus, i got a good deal for my trade in. Appreciate all your info! Keep up the great work!!°
So you got the ultra?
@@jokast8861 I did! Can't wait
Same...I was going for the plus but I got the ultra with the deal from att ..traded in my s22+ for the ultra for 200$ and the plus u would of broke even. I still owed 500 on my 22+ . So long story short..got the ultra for 200$
I'm upgrading from S10+, i think i deserve the best upgrade they have to offer after waiting so many years.
im upgrading from 1990 Nokia
I have note 10plus 4g, the only reason I've been wanting an upgrade is because I moved to an area with bad reception. I'm not sure I can wait much longer lol.
If you are coming from the S23 series or maybe even the S22 series, no need to upgrade. But anything before that, You can't go wrong with either the S24+ or S24 Ultra
I currently have the S22+ and the battery is horrible (4-5 hour SOT). I'm upgrading to the S24+ for this reason and the fact that I could upgrade for only 300 euros
IMO the upgrades are significant enough even coming from an S23+
Those who have the S22 series or older can actually upgrade. The Snapdragon 8 gen 2 (from the S23 series) started the huge improvement in battery and performance.
@@Gurenn83still a worthy upgrade coming off the S23+ in particular:
- QHD+ LTPO display vs FHD+ LTPS
- 2600 nits of peak brightness vs 1750
- 12GB of RAM vs 8GB
- 4900mAh battery vs 4700mAh
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 vs SD8G2
All at the same price point. These are significant upgrades, not minor. It's basically an Ultra without the S Pen and some camera features.
I still am using Galaxy S6. Definitely worth a upgrade.
"Great review, but there are a couple of aspects that need clarification. Firstly, the Galaxy S24+ does not feature Corning Gorilla Glass ARMOR; that's exclusive to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Instead, the S24+ comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Secondly, it's essential to note that the S24+ is available in two versions. The USA/CANADA/CHINA variant is equipped with the Qualcomm SM8650-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU and Adreno 750 GPU (1 GHz). On the other hand, the international version boasts the Exynos 2400 CPU and Xclipse 940 GPU.
Including this information will provide viewers with a more comprehensive understanding of the Galaxy S24+ variants. Keep up the good work on your reviews!"
How about the chipset? In the UK, S24 plus got the Exynos 2400. This is the only reason I'm not pre-ordering anything yet.
I take fluoxetine everyday.
Same here, waiting to see comparison between s24 plus with Exynos and SD8. If not good Will go for Honor magic 6 pro
S24 plus looks promising.Watched a gaming test and the Exynos chip held its own
US gets the snap dragon 8 gen 3 on all the s24 models btw
yup the Exynos GPU is 36% better than SD 8 gen 3 according to the newest Geekbench results

Nice video. Thank you ! Just ordered the 24+. Can't believe I bought a purple phone. If you mentioned it I missed it, but the display on S24 variants has a big jump in brightness up to 2600 nits from 1700 something for the S23+. I get there are diminishing returns, but I expect better outdoor performance over the max 1,300 nits of my S20 Ultra that I traded in. When I bought the Ultra I convinced myself that I had to have the best variant available with a bigger screen and battery, better cameras, etc. I had to check myself this go around. I don't take that many photos or videos anymore, the battery is nearly the same now, and I doubt I'd use the S Pen. In other areas, the S24 Plus is so close to the Ultra, that for me I'd rather pocket the $300. It's subjective, but I like the look of the rounded edges of the 24 and 24+.
SAMSUNG wants to become like apple so bad, I will buy Iphone 16 pro next then... no need to buy wannabe Iphone anymore . Battery life is terrible, they removed charging block , headphones, SD card slot... Also apps are so terrible and not optimized. I am tired of this BS brand
If I had to pick android phone , it will definitely not be Samsung. Google Pixel or iPhone are my only options.
Unpopular move I trade-in my S23U for S24 plus. Rarely used the spen, occasionally used the 10x and almost never used 200MP. Got tired of the form factor and the boxy design.
I have the s23 plus and it's my favorite Android device. Noticable improvement over my s20fe which bad terirble batrery life. 8 gen 2 was a big improvement as well. I prefer the form factor aa well and it's the perfect size.
S24 Ultra is for me, traded in my S22 Ultra for a good deal! Loving the sleek look of the Ultra it's aesthetically pleasing. The rounded design on the S24 Plus and S24 reminds me of iPhones lol
Yeah I agree! I think the Boxy look is great especially for watching content. Quite reminiscent of a TV.
The rounded designs of the S24 has been like that since the S22 series
Most phones have rounded corners
I'm getting the Plus with the 512 gb. It's just so much bang for your buck. Also, it had the 6 .7 inch screen
Even though the ultra has a flat screen now and the better camera again, I just don't like the form factor, I don't need the pen, so I'd go with the S24 Plus. But I've bought the S23 Plus last year and I am super happy! Ah, and in Europe only the ultra gets Snapdragon. Shame.
Good morning,
Very good summary, but for us Europeans there is a big unknown called Exynos 2400, and that for me without having seen the tests is a big problem, I'm afraid there is still a big difference between 8 GEN 3 and exynos 2400.
Thank you for all your videos, because for me I think you are very objective.
If u dont mind me ask whats that? Is it in s24plus ?
@@NoonJ97 Good morning,
yes indeed it is the s24 plus, and unfortunately in France it will be delivered with an exynos 2400, so I think that a lot of people will buy the s24 ultra which is also more expensive. I already bought the s23 ultra (thanks to you and your video advice) during black Friday at Samsung France at a very attractive price I think I got a good deal 999 euros for the 512 GB at the price of the 256 GB with a return of my s22 ultra with exynos 2200, which really wasn't very good for me, it's because of that that I changed models.
Happy Sunday to you and good luck with your excellent advice.
@@pascalrio4430 oh i see so like it comes with exynos wherever we buy it ?
I am SO CONFLICTED. I have 7 days left to return my iPhone 15 Pro after years on Android. I cannot decide if I want the Plus or the Ultra. I HATE the boxy corners. I HATE the S-pen. But I want the "high specs". It's a $8 difference/ month for my carrier. I'm just... confused. My favorite phone ever was the S21u. Pretty sure the Plus is that...
What did you end up going for?
@@HunnyLove_ …. my iphone 😂
Went for the plus. It suited my use case more for the price. I already have a Galaxy tab for notes so I didn't really need the spen. Camera wasn't that important to me, as I hardly take photos (the regular 24 takes good enough pics). Storage also wasn't that big of a deal as I can barely fill up my 4yr old phone with more than 120gb; the 512gb in the plus is more than enough.
Do you like the Samsung tablet
@@caseydominick7806 Yeah, the model I have is the tab S9 w/ extra storage & ram. I love it for school work and notes. My only regret is not going for the plus or even the ultra for the bigger work space. However the base size is way more portable.
My Samsung S9 Plus is still serving me well ? No need for an upgrade ? I think I will just wait on the S25 Plus 🙂
Great info, even happier now that I decided on the S24+ yesterday. And surprisingly, got a $1000 credit trade in on my Note 9 to boot.
Oh nice. That’s fantastic.
I was pleasantly
shocked to get a $1,000 credit for my S20 Ultra toward the 24+
I’m an iPhone user so I’m shocked…. Does Samsung really give that big of a trade in value?! 😮
I got a $800 for my note 4
You must be on T-Mobile's Go5G or Magenta plan. I am on the One plan and I only got $500 which is still amazing.
I was just about to order the S24 ultra to replace my NOTE 8 and all the accessories are virtually sold out !!
Great video...I think you persuaded me to get the Plus!
recap of this video
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra:
Boxier appearance, similar to the previous Ultra Series.
Features the S Pen for stylus input.
Larger 200-megapixel camera and a 5x telephoto zoom.
Slightly larger screen (6.8 inches).
Higher price tag ($1,299).
Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus:
Rounded and more traditional design, similar to the Plus series.
No S Pen included.
50-megapixel camera and a 3x telephoto zoom.
Slightly smaller screen (6.7 inches).
More affordable price ($999).
Shared Features:
Both phones have the Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 chipset and 12GB of RAM.
Improved battery capacity, with the S24 Plus having a 4,900mAh battery.
Similar screen technology, both supporting a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate.
Both phones have 45W fast charging and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Identical software support with seven years of software updates and security patches.
Considerations:
The S24 Plus is seen as a more affordable alternative, offering many features similar to the Ultra model.
The Ultra model justifies its higher price with the S Pen, a larger camera, and additional telephoto zoom capabilities.
The s24+ redeems itself from the embarrassing releases of the 21 22 and 23. The 20+ was the best of the series until they ruined it by removing the microSD card, led notification light and making it smaller with worse resolution. The s24+ is the baby ultra minus a few camera downgrades and anti glare coating. This is the one to get if you don't like a big ass bathroom tile in your pocket.
Nice comment. I had the S23 Ultra and sold it after zooming in loads on random stuff I wouldn’t actually want to keep as a photo. Just ordered the 512 S24 Plus. You get sick of carrying around a phone that weighs 250g with a case. S24 Plus seems like the best phone like Samsung to buy.
@@MrUrmanwitdaplan no one ever addresses how annoying the ultra series is for people on the go who put it in pocket. It's too damn big.
Every thing you saying is right I was so thinking of the s24+. Except if you live in the UK, I went into a Samsung store yesterday and asked them because in the UK we the exynos chip. They had no comparisons on the chip stats, and even the people in store, said GEN 3 was designed more for AI. Because in the UK the ultra, you also get the better chip along with its other features.
if i want to keep my new phone for next 7 years.....i m going with the best one.....no if and buts.....simple logic......also for 300 extra bigger screen, camera module, titanium frame, s pen, writable screen, bigger battery and most of all flagships get better future tech support and better resale value.
totally agree. I am upgrading from S8+ 64GB to S24 Ultra 1TB in Titanium Violet. Thanks for confirming that I have made the right selection of the S24 Ultra. I went for the max and like you have mentioned "simple logic"
Just preordered the plus to replace my wife's 22+. Shes not techie. She use to rock a note9 and she hardly used the spen. Actually she lost the pen twice. She doesnt even game on her phone....mostly uses it to watch her dramas. I think she will appreciate the speed of the 120hz while not knowing what that means. She also wont know the difference in the camera department. She usually asks me anyways to take the pictures with my phone (currently pixel 8 pro). S24+ it is for her.
Is there any difference in AI between s24 plus ans s24 ultra? because the only thing that matter for me is artifitial intillegence in s24
S24+ is a no no here in Europe because it got the exynos so it's better to get the Ultra
Exynos is a beast this year! Performs better than 8 Gen 3 in gaming! Look at early tests!

Thank you so much TechOdyssey for your observation on these S24 series.
Also, I believe you forgot to mention (at least at the end, I FF through some of the video), that the Ultra's front is Gorilla Glass Armor, which gives the screen phenomenal brightness in the sun, and it has a titanium frame, which is much more durable, whereas the Plus' front is only Gorilla Glass Victus 2; the screen is much dimmer in sunlight, and it has an aluminum frame, which isn't as sturdy as titanium.

@silverfishstix5099 I agree, but my s23U will depreciate even more if I wait next year. I ordered the 23+ and got some freebies.
They are sneaky with the trade in. The trade in comes off the full price (1,419) of the 512 not the 1,299 of the 256. How is that a “free” upgrade? It’s not.
I ordered the S24+ in cobalt violet from u.s. cellular. I got the 512gb for $999. But I dont need that much. Only used 71gb of my 256gb on my S22 ultra.

Is the camera on the s24+ better than a s21 Ultra.
I'm kinda new to smart phones. The first one I bought was an Amazon Renewed S22+ about 5 or 6 months ago. Is it possible to get a trade-in value on the phone towards an S24+ if it's an Amazon Renewed phone? The phone is in excellent condition, fully unlocked and battery health is currently at 93%. Only downside is it's the 128gb version.
Did you check the samsung website for the trade value?
@@davidbrown6137 Thanks for the response. Yes I did, it's showing a trade value of $450. I just wasn't sure if a refurb phone would qualify. $450 is pretty close to what I paid for the phone so if it's acceptable for a trade-in, I'm down 100%.
@madcapper6 yes, fortunately the trade-in screening questions do not seek the history of each trade-in device 😀
@madcapper6 yes you can trade in and I would do it in a heart beat battery life on the s22 plus is terrible compared to newer models.
The S24 and S24 Plus also have WIFI 7 disabled due to the Exynos 2400 limitations. This includes the Snapdragon models via software limitation. The Ultra has WIFI 7, however.
So what do you think s24/s24+ will be lacking by having "only" wifi 6 enabled? Because I guarantee you that 99 percent of users can't name one wifi 7 feature, they just want it, because 7 is more than 6 lol.
and wifi 7 is useless at this moment, as there are virtually no devices supporting it, if there is, you will not notice any difference
@fixxer47 WIFI 7 is less prone to interruptions on busy Wi-Fi networks. But it's true that most people won't notice the difference.
But some people will still care regardless because they don't want to own a phone with last years technology. As stupid as that may sound.
WIFI 6 and WIFI 6E will be supported for a very long time yet. Even with WIFI 7 now out.
WIFI 7 will mostly help large hotels that cover their 10+ story hotels in WIFI and train stations where a lot of people are using the network simultaneously.
Plus, WIFI 7 supports 4x faster data speeds. But that mostly again will benefit people on 10GB fiber networks.
@@GalaxyFur the problem is, it took years for wifi to propagate. Right now, you can count all wiif7 home routers on your single hand. And they are expensive. This is more a marketing feature, than real useful thing
@@GalaxyFur ok, this is nice, but how often do you use public wifi these days? Even in multi apartment building, like where I live, it is hard to use all wifi 6 channels, I checked. Modern routers automatically assign best, with smallest SNR, channel. And how many people have 10 GB/s fibers at home, and how many use cases you see to use it on your phone Except full backup . Anyway, I preordered S24 ultra, but wifi 7 was the least important feature
I usually always go the ultra but went for the plus, also in my Australia, the preorder gets you the latest watch and buds 2 pro for free which is crazy good value, got the 512gb too in grey
I never order a phone without hearing your thoughts on it.
Thank you, another great video.
Thank You
Thank you for your trust. I’m glad I can help
How do we find out if it has the macro?
Hey Tech. Could you please make a battery test between 23plus and24plus. I wanted to upgrade from s22plus because of cpu, but looks like not my case anymore because of exynos in EU (((
Should i buy the s24 plus or the s23 ultra the prices are just a 100 bucks apart and im from india so gotta get the exynos 2400
I would get the ultra for the snapdragon chip alone
I have an S21 Ultra and I am trying to decide between the 24+ and the S24 Ultra. I really never was interested in the Note lineup and now that the Ultra is the note that kind turns me off to it. I'm leaning more towards the S24+ considering the added features of the Ultra are really not as much of a jump as they were in the past
The Plus is on sale for $749 and the Ultra $949. Between this and the Pixels, I’m really torn!
great vid. Very informative 🇬🇧
Thank you. Thank you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You're very welcome
Can you make a battery test please, maybe compare with last gens, please!
When I get mine
Also, as an OG Note user I can’t really go without having the pen. 24+ is basically just an iPhone 15 without the pen.
Thanks for the info. I pre ordered the plus because I have the note 20 ultra and I never use the pen. Getting the plus saved me $700 difference from the ultra. I'm happy with the order and you backed up my choice. Thank you
Different panel though. Ultra has the GG Armor with the anti glare, plus does not. Fyi
I know. Was just putting it out there for people who are form the rest of the world. I always watch you. And I'm from the UK .Think you're the best tech person . Because you tell us the truth .
Are they both active duel sim
I couldn't pass up the trade-in deal for the S24+ (especially being in the USA). My first time pre-purchasing a phone :D Hoping it'll be a good experience for me
Im jealous u hv sd3 chip
I want the ultra features (camera& pen) but it's just too big. So only staying with plus for the rounded corners and less weight.
Great content. You didn't mention the titanium frame on the s24 ultra. Does the s24+ have 8k? Also the s24 ultra still has rounded side frame like the s23 ultra. Butcim still keeping my s23 ultra.
How does the S24+ compare to S23ultra?
Watching the reviews coming out, I can't quite get the clarity:
Anti glare - on all models or just Ultra?
Larger vapor chamber - ultra or all models?
Do you think there would be a big difference between the s 23 plus versus the s 24 plus? Maybe a price difference when the new ones arrive? Enjoy your videos, keep up the great work 👍
1. Titanium
2. Screen glare
3. Scratch resistance
4. Camera
5. Screen size
6. S Pen
7. Battery life
CPUs are different in UK.
Does the plus have light reflection reduction too?
No
POV: Me who's still sitting on a dying S21 Ultra
I don't particularly want another Samsung phone, because if my expensive af "flagship" phone that I've treated like a first-born son, is dying when it's not even been in my hands for 3 years yet.
I'm looking at the Xperia line, I wish the 5 V was made for the US, I've heard you can flash the 1 V US modem files on to it, but that's a bit risky considering I've only modified old game consoles and not modern phones. So seems like the 1 V might be my Obi-Wan Phone, unless the 1 IV is released before I upgrade.
I kinda want to wait to see if the 5 VI will get a US release, but I also know that it's pointless to wait another half year or more for a phone that may not happen, especially when one's current device is starting to malfunction as it is (referring to my dying star of a phone)
i ordered a 24+. my pixel 8pro has been irritating me as of late, so i ordered a s24+ to take in its place. gonna miss some pixel things, but samsung has pretty much their own version of the pixel features now
Why not also keep your pixel 8?
@@rathernotsay9188 I'm considering it, but I don't need 2 phones
Which phone that can do automatic translation? We No longer need google translator
Coming from an s23 ultra, i pre-order the s24 plus. The headset speaker on the s23 ultra is too low. Going back to what I know, the Plus
I wonder if the "AI for all" is applicable if you are in a region where the Exynos 2400 Soc is supplied to S24 and S24+ given the AI features is advertized with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3?
"No 8 gigs of RAM anymore. That's a big plus." Nice pun there, intended or not.
If I lived in America I would buy the plus model but in the UK where I live it has the exynos chip, so I will be going for the Ultra.
I keep seeing comments about issues with the exynos for Europeans, is it not compatible?
@carchpotato The exynos performance is grand (though not as good as the snapdragon). The main issue with it is that it isn't as power efficient, hence poorer battery life and it has also had heating issues in the past. I would guess that the exynos 2400 is likely a downgrade on the snapdragon 8 gen 2 (on the s23 models).
The SD Gen 3 is also a lot more compatible for third parties. I've seen a few vids where features such as screen res are cut down for gaming.
Informative video. It will be the S24+ for me. Thank for your clear & very informative explanation of the differences between the phones. Great video 👍🏾
I'm excited for August to see what the next flip phone brings. I want one so bad, but I wanted my P8 Pro first. I'll have this for like 5 yrs, almost 7. I'll either get the Z Fold 5 on sale or the new one.
I got s24+ because i like the look and dont need spen. Saved $300 and coming from s20fe with broken screen
Yes, it's about time you upgraded then, lol
Traded my s23 ultra for the s24+. The only reason I went with the ultra last time was because it was on sale I really hate the curved glass. That being said this time around I would have went with the ultra just to have the top tier specs and the flat panel but honestly it's just too big and bulky. I don't care about the s pen. The form factor of the plus is just better and it's lighter. Saved myself a couple hundred bucks.
I have to admit through bestbuy I can upgrade my 23 ultra to a s24+!for $150. Very tempted for the reasons you stated and my own ai adventures on my s23 ultra would be faster.. The pictures I take would look good on both and honestly using more voice to text then spen. I keep wondering next year the deal might not be as good so might as well upgrade
Just me trying to justify my purchase to myself lol
Nothing wrong with that
Traded in my wifes S22 Ultra for the S24+ for $349. I also got $125 to spend in the Samsung store. The deal Samsung had us better than Best Buy for our trade. It was a no brainer for us to go with the 24+.
Would you buy the Samsung S24+ or the Pixel 8 Pro? I like Pixel's software better, however, looking at both deals on Samsung and Google, the Samsung's deal is far better. Right now I have the Pixel 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I can't believe how crappy the trade in amounts are on Google. I could actually get the S24 Ultra now and pay about $35 less than getting the Google because of trade-in amounts. I just hate the boxy design of the Ultra.
Get both!
@@krskadaveLol I wish I could afford both!
Get the Samsung, better hardware and chip ( US ). also the 8 Pro/8 have inferior modem / signal reception.
Even 24 is good. I am sick with phones big and heavy like tv.
Agreed, cargo pant-phones
@@bratanvova
True. I wear glasses and don't see good but anyway next phone small and cheaper.
