After Dimash performed it, he received a lawyer's letter from Vitas which fobid him singing any of Vitas's songs in any show. The reason is that Dimash sang the cover version of Vitas's Opera 2 in the show "Singer" without permission or authorization. We "Dears" think Vitas was just jealous because Dimash did more key changes and went higher than Vitas.

After 4 years in China he returned to Russia and now it is where he works most of the time since 2018. I hope you will react to the songs that Igor has composed for him, in China Dimash sang many songs in Mandarin although he does not know the language much, but now he sings in Russian and Kazakh, which are his two mother tongues. It's my most listened to performance from Dimash. I like his playfulness specifically in this one, since he always sings about such sad and harsh themes with his voice that hits like a house being dropped on you. Even the lyrics in Opera 2 do talk about loneliness and wistfulness, but everything regarding that gets put aside once he turns the heat on.

This is from a Chinese competition show called, at the time, in 2017, I Am A Singer, later known as just Singer. They treated Dimash very badly and he withdrew when he got to the last three contestants even though there was a $1,000,000 prize. On this Chinese show, they really loved Dimash.

I am a huge fan of the female soloist and Korean American, Ailee, who has an amazing medley session on Dingo's Killing Voice. She started off in the states as a you tube singer and went to Korea to become the powerhouse solo 'Queen'. She also does mad covers of 'Georgia on my Mind' and 'I Will Always Love You'. Also, I checked your videos and don't see anything from Paolo Nutini. Do you know of him?....Italian/Scot with a great raspy and unique sound.
