that was really cool you put hours into this having to watch every set that's some dedication!! Also i hadn't heard all the band that played but from your vid i now see they had a really diverse lineup!!! good work peace
Thank you for watching!
DMX speaking in prayer form while the clips play of the incidents that took place…was just powerful.👌🏽💯 . . .my god, ishh gave me CHILLS.🥶🔥
I appreciate that, thank you 🙏
The Dmx prayer at the end is so fitting
Super binged these 3 eps.
Thank you so much for watching!
Great review series you made. Good supplement to the HBO doc. Hope your channel keeps growing.
Thank you so much!
👍 looking forward to seeing what else you put out!
Can you review more concerts and festivals? I really enjoyed this series.
Thanks! Do you have anything in mind?
@@Shaunography Maybe more shows from the 90s? Like Lollapalooza or a Warped tour? I don’t know how much footage you can get. Even something current would be fun. I liked how you went through each act. It gave a nice overview of the entire show.
@@rise4811 thanks for the suggestions! As you say, finding the footage might prove problematic but I'll see what I can do. Glad you enjoyed it
Always hated the incompetence of the organizers blaming limp bizkit when they weren't even the last band to hype the crowd and then korns lead singer after throwing them under the bus saying they were reckless to play break stuff
In later interviews I think JD changed his mind but I still didn't like that interview
Yeah it’s weird he blamed them when he signed them!! Haha
Sshhit. I would mad for not getting water on hot day. I would burn the stage and mike lain
Megadeth!!
I’m a big godsmack fan, but I kinda agree about them being boring sometimes . They are kinda like the phish of post grunge. They kinda just go on and on with their songs
I really like the work they do around mental health though!! I regret not mentioning that. Thanks for watching
Sevendust was dope

Super 90s
Unfortunately Todd and Dawn have been divorced for 18 years now.
Red Hot chili peppers were not the last band to play they're set ended before Megadeth set ended.... Ironically the very last song to ever be played at a quote unquote Woodstock was peace sells but who's buying fucking crazy and I was there in the middle....
I don't recall saying they were last on! I'm just keeping to my format by putting West stage first. Peace Sells being the last song ever played at a Woodstock though... unreal. Life is crazier than art.
@@Shaunography oh I wasn't saying you in particular.. were saying that...but a lot of people think that Red Hot chili peppers were the last band to play at Woodstock 99.... Definitely was Megadeth one of the few things I'm proud of from that weekend
@@suparon1226 you made a good choice seeing Megadeth imho
@@Shaunography you know it brother!! I'm not saying the chili peppers are bad but damn sure not Megadeth the only band I've seen more than Megadeth in My Life is the Grateful Dead...
I know quite a contrast hahaha but yeah seeing them perform Peace Sells...but who's buying at Woodstock 99... you can't top that in fact....I haven't seen Megadeth since.... But I think it's time to been way too long... Haven't seen Metallica since either or any of the other performers from that weekend how the hell can you ever top that weekend for those people.....
Between godsmack and the energy of the crowd it felt like the place would spontaneously combust
I still wish I was there
Derivative? I'd say, repetitive!! You could play me a bunch of tracks at random from most of these harder bands and I couldn't tell you one from another! They all sound exactly the same to me!
Does the Megadeath singer have his jaw wired shut or is he practicing ventriloquism?
Well, I'm glad I missed this one! Other than maybe Elvis and the Peppers, I wouldn't have paid $5.00 to see any of those bands.
if the music wasn't so loud, I could understand most (if not all) of what the commentator is saying. As it is, I can only pick up a word here & there.
Oh! Rusted Root!! My GF's neighbors!! She used to teach them yoga! Jenn's aunt, Rickie, just died a very short time ago! I used to watch her t.v. show when I was a kid! The Copper & Penny Show.
And imagine if linkin park would appeared at woodstock 99 that whould gone so crazy than ever
I worked at Woodstock 1999 as an inventory guy for the pizza company that sold overpriced pizza and drinks. I was 17, it was my first paying job. I will never forget that weekend, I got paid to get high and drunk and watch some of my favorite bands of the time, was a hardcore Metallica fan at the time. I've told my story in the comments section of a lot of Woodstock 99 videos on her and a lot of people say I should write a book. It was my first paying job and my parents had to sign a release form because I was underage. It ended in disaster but I'm still happy I was there's I still feel it was the greatest experience in my life and would never trade that weekend for anything. First time I smoked actual really good weed, first time I got horribly drunk, first time I had sex, and saw many of my favorite bands at the time and got paid to do all that. I have a more grown up perspective of the whole situation now that I'm 40 and see a different picture of that weekend. I regret working with a company that charged $4 for a bottle water and 12 for a personal size frozen pizza, I didn't grasp all that at 17 but I do now. Almost got "fired" when my "supervisor" giving out free water to customers, and I don't regret it. Also first time I ever saw riot police and national guard in person. Lost my virginity there too lol. Still have the photos I took. Saw many bands I wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to, and some I became I big fan of. Also got paid to see Metallica for the 8th time, a band I've now seen 29 times. Hell of a weekend.
WOODSTOCK 2030?
Who would you want to see play there?
RAGE,METALLICA,RED HOT
I hate watchmojo because i hate family guy
I couldn't really hear the audible booing for RHCP that you point out. I feel you have a real bias here. Made especially clear with the FNM clip.
"the fires are from Chili Peppers fans" can't believe you said that....
the same "fans" who were making audible booing sounds?
I actually don't have anything against them really, this project took hundreds of hours in total to make - this was the last band I had to edit and I was getting to the point where I had to entertain myself a little. I actually own Californication on vinyl as well as BSSM and a couple more on CD. Personally I feel this wasn't their best era as a live band and sounded much better live during By the Way and onwards.
Also, I did say that *most* people who were watching used the candles responsibly but that others didn't.
Thanks for watching anyway, all the best
@@Shaunography fair enough. I did enjoy getting through this whole 3 part series overall.
I have seen the Peppers many times including during this era. I think I saw three shows around this period. All pretty good with diversity in the setlists.
Anyway. It does come across as though you have something against them.
Oh, and I think it was Bungle. I said FNM. Patton and Kiedis have some type of rivalry. Bungle was denied playing the BDO in Australia at Kiedis request.
Thanks for the response and comprehensive Woodstock 99 review.
@@SoupA150 it was Mr. Bungle yeah. If I remember correctly - the RHCP management sent an apology to Mr. Bungle, outlining that it was "Anthony Kiedis in particular" who had the problem with Mike Patton & Mr. Bungle. Pretty sure the rest of the band was embarrassed by the situation.
If I were to make this again I'd probably leave out the Bungle thing though, since I genuinely have nothing against the Chili Peppers and I respect their career and impact on the business
Glad you enjoyed the reviews overall though!
You lost all credibility when gave the boring struggling to hit notes Jewel 5/5
The set was a vocal masterclass, for me! But to each, their own. Thanks for watching
Dude you lost your mind! Godsmack 2.5? Get a grip
WOODSTOCK 2030?
Who would you book for Woodstock 2030?
METALLICA,PEPPERS,SANTANA@@Shaunography
