real talk, my dream is to be a successful indie game dev, but my parents aren’t too supportive sometimes. they think it’s a waste of time and that i’m just “playing video games” and don’t quite get what i’m doing. trying to show them what i can accomplish, thanks for this inspirational video zach.

The mistake I made back then is using gamemaker studio 2 rather than real game engines like Unity, UA5, or Godot.
Hitlard gamemaker studio 2 is a very powerful engine as well though! you can make all sorts of games with it, and if you’re looking for more advanced stuff WITH gamemaker, don’t forget about third party applications :)
