Today has been a little rougher, but she’s holding up ok!! I think the scabs must be working their way off because she’s been back on the every 4 hours Tylenol routine today. She’s a tough cookie though! ❤️
So glad to hear Gaines is on the road to recovery! I remember back in the day, when my older sister had hers both out as I also caught tonsillitis from her. I remember her staying in the hospital (UK NHS) for a couple of days after and they made her eat dry toast as they said it would strengthen her throat! 😱 She would get jelly and ice cream for dessert. I am so glad that times have change! 🙏
My son had the same issue as Brooks and he had his tonsils removed two years ago. He did end up having a post op bleed and had to be rushed to the ER and had surgery again. With all that being said, we feel it was still the best thing for him because he doesn’t get sick near as often and when he does, he recovers much faster.
WOW...... the last time I watched you guys was when Cullen was hospitalized for the pimple on his face, and you just popped up on my feed out the clear blue a few minutes agoand I couldn't believe how big the kids have gotten, you were one of my favorite UA-cam channels I watched all the time, I have to start watching you guys again for sure!!!! I dont know if you guys remember me i sent Gaines her rocky elephant when you was in the first house when she was a tiny baby and you did your registry can not believe how much she has grown!!
My 6.5 year old just got his tonsils and adenoids removed on Feb 12th. I was honestly bracing myself for the worst. He didn’t take any sort of pain meds until days 5-9. We're on day 12, and he's been acting like nothing happened. He'll be going back to school on Monday 🤞
Hi Cullen and Katie!! This is Barbie. I remember watching you guys on tiktok live the night before this. It's crazy because I got dental surgery the same day with getting a back tooth extracted. Glad she is doing better. Your a champ gaines!!

My sister had the same situation. She always had mucus in her nasal cavity. We had a sleepover with her friends though two weeks after and went to the theatre. She had popcorn but not a lot but it was enough to have her bleeding non stop after we got home till she passed out and my parents had to go to the ER by ambulance to only be transferred to our doctors in Loma Linda which was an hour away from our house. She’s been completely fine since then.
I’m considering having my son get this done because he always sounds like he’s plugged up. On the daily I’m telling him to blow his nose. Just always has that congested sounding voice. Hope Gaines is feeling much better.
My son sounded the same .. got his adenoid removed only.. big improvements… best decision… adenoid removal is a quick simple surgery.. just keep in mind if you don’t take the tonsils with the adenoids.. your tonsils may tend to act crazy and have to be removed later on
Praying for her quick recovery. I watched your Walmart trip. That same stuffy that you bought for $30.00 was in our local Walmart yesterday for $35.00. Wonder why the price difference.
As an adult I was getting sick every two months with swollen tonsils and constantly stuff up. Terrible times breathing. And then my ears would be infected. The amount of antibiotics was ridiculous. So I finally got approved to have my tonsils and adenoids removed. And it was the best decision ever.
I got my both out, they took my out since they were already put tube in my ears they went head to take them out getting tubes put in didn’t work, I still get ears infection

We are encouraged to eat toast and cereal after tonsillectomy in the UK (I was told it promotes healing)
