An amazingly talented actor and good person on many levels. Just the fact that Spacy shares his situation and puts it out there for the benefit of others as he has done - speaks volumes. One must question the fact that - so many (too many...) accusers came forward to get a piece of him via lawsuits long after the fact and with only vague stories and evidence. That is why he won the $40 mill. NY case and will win others. I am a retired lawyer who has handled nearly a hundred sexual harrassment cases on both sides of the law. This is a far cry from Epstein or Weinstein, and Hollywood knows it. Hollywood simply needs to now appear to be PC after far too many scandals. My first recollection of K.S. was in "Wise Guy" on TV (80's series with Ken Wahl, Joan Severance, etc). He played a bumbling con-man, with an english accent I believe. He was great in it, fast forward to Usual Suspects and the rest is history.
I’ve judged this actor not only for some of the creepy roles he’s played in movies and of course the sexual abuse charges that are now front and center. It seemed so obvious connecting the creepy acting role’s with serious legal charges. I don’t and will never understand what draws an adult to having sex with a child. All this being said, after watching this interview, I’m seeing him for the first time as simply a good actor, well spoken, kind and intelligent. Now that his life has become an open book to the horrible truth’s he’s lived from childhood forward, I do believe there is a lot of good in this man and he does deserve to be forgiven though that’s for a higher power. No matter what, I believe everyone deserves a second chance. This man has so much to offer and hopefully, the positive in him will level out the bad…

I would like Kevin Spacey got another opportunity as a theatre actor, because he has a talent and experience and after that 45 days of voluntary therapy, which he absolves on that expensive clinic, where there be treated his sex addiction and also after finally exposing that he is an gay, he could be allowed to perform. It would be a pity to deny him acting becuase he cincerelly likes it and its all his life.
Allegations are not proof. Anonymous allegations, by their very nature, cannot be proven, which makes them suspect. We don't know what actually happened.
These are not "anonymous allegations". The Old Vic theatre set up a very rigorous process to ensure that those who had worked at the theatre over the years were able to come forward and make their complaints in an environment that would support them. Just because you don't happen to know who these people are, doesn't mean the allegations are unfounded. Exactly what "proof" - other than a substantial number of substantiated victim statements would you like? Do you want these people to go to the lab and get their private parts dusted for fingerprints? How many people have to come forward and say "he did this", before you are convinced? They are all saying the same thing. Kevin Spacey himself issued a statement saying there were probably more stories about him. He also checked himself into a rehab clinic, admitting he needed to go and get evaluated and helped.
