I bought a 1991 DR350S back in 1995 and sold it in 2006. Never should have sold it! I wish they still made this model, it seemed to be the perfect engine size. It was torquey, but would also rev great, so it worked well on the freeway also.

I love the Acerbis tank. Its got a nice shape to it, its nice and narrow where it needs to be so you can squeeze it with your legs.
No trapped fuel, it has two fuel taps and I have the fuel lines routed where I can drain every last drop.

Very good off road too, I never broke down!

    And 2x 600 and 1x 800 😄

They are great bikes. I have a 2012 Super Tenere that I was riding offroad a lot. The more used to it I became the harder I rode it and in worse places. Then it occurred to me that one drop at any sort of speed would cost $1000 easy. So I bought a 91 DR350. I had to do a bit of work (carb rebuild, wheel bearings, fuel shutoff, general tuning and adjusting, etc). It is a superb trail bike. It is very forgiving of error and, although the susp. is not first rate, it does the job. The motor is wonderfully torquey, transmission and clutch seem bulletproof, and it is insanely easy to maintain. I have two sets of sprockets and with the low set on it is a tractor, with the tall set, a superb commuter and still good on trails. Parts are dirt cheap and easy to get (all 5 wheel bearings and seal were $38). I ride in northern NY in winter (when the roads are clear) and it is tough to start at 25F but 2-3 kicks at 40F. It is a joy to trail ride this in snow because it is so light (less than half the weight of the tenere) you can just throw it around. Definitely a keeper! Great vid of some nice riding!

Great bikes aren't they? It's the one bike Suzuki should have kept in their line up imo. Nothing wrong with a DRZ, but the simple old DR to me with the six speed was the better of the two. I owned a 95 since new, and still regret selling it. Yeah the suspension wasn't very good, and it had a CV carb, and some on and off clutch issues but a great all around dual sport bike. I've put thousands into my 650 to make it better,,sure its faster but the 350 was more fun. I may have to get another.:)

Your English is fine my friend. The WR250r is a great bike. Produces similar power to the DR, but you need to rev the motor more. The DR350 acts like a tractor. You can lug the DR in any gear.
However, the WR is a little lighter, but the modern frame and suspension make it feel much much lighter.
Both are great performing, true 50/50 capable bikes, but the WR is much more modern. Also, both bikes can do 100-110kph all day on the highway.

I live in the hills and a dual sport just makes sense. I lean toward the 350 but I eventually want to adventure tour and being 6'2' 240 I think the 650 is the way to go. @@enduro_alex awesome man. Yhanks for the reply. I think I'm gonna pick up the dr350 just because it's too good of a deal to pass up.
I'll probably end up with both lol.

Baahahaaa I have to admit, I've never seen a dr take on some whoops. I can't imagine lugging mine around an mx track.

Nope, sold it a few years back. I still miss it! My WR250R has been a solid replacement.

@@enduro_alex Title is there, guys owned it for 2 years, needs a cam chain. About 300in parts all together, I rode it (cam chain rattles) it rode nice felt strong still. Owner stated it has a forged piston and titanium valve springs that are less than a year old. He wanted 1800 we settled at $1600 not afraid to build anything. It started right up and rode, new tires. 17k miles. Picking it up today.

@@4.8Flatbed Congrats! Timing chain might be a tough job which will probably require removing the engine from the frame. Those kinda projects you have to try to line up for the winter!

Depends where you are, some places can be pretty dense. Plus this was shot early in the season.
