On Bile Spewers it's not good mate. Tried on head (about 3-4 shots) and on body it takes forever. It's the only npc that Halt really struggles. On other enemy types it's a A-Tier weapon overall. RIght now imo Scorcher it's the best all around weapon, bugs or automatons. Specially on full auto mode a significant weakness that Scorcher had with Hunters, right now it's not a problem at all. So in conclusion if you cover the ammo thing with Scorcher (either run a Supply Pack or be a little careful with ammo economy) you can deal with evth and be efficient. Bile Spewers, Chargers, Behemoths, even the mushroom nests can be done with the weapon.

@stzander9603 Switching between modes isn't reliable at all, mate. Bile Spewers are an issue for most loadouts. Even with Scorcher I mentioned, you have to hit their belly so you can have an easy/quick kill. Halt is a good weapon, don't get me wrong, I use it with my anti tank loadout, and if I have Bile Spewers I deal with them with grenade pistol or I just throw an Orbital Barrage on them.
This thing is a MONSTER for teams lol. I like pairing it with a guard dog, machine gun and incendiary grenades, and then you just stun everything with the stun rounds and turn swarms into a joke. Super effective on spewers and stalkers especially, I love it sm.

Helldivers 2 is more fun than never and have a big variety of good gear to use. All 3 new weapons range from A to S, depending which faction you are playing against. ik right, my only gripe with this war bond and it is a biggy is the armor, I just want to use it and the passive be good, and change the one in the superstore to heavy please. besides that the booster paired with vitality booster is good, and the primary weapons are A tiers in their respective factions and the pistol is just purifier Jr, the smg could use some adjustment to make it slightly better, excuse me AR, and many complain about the shotgun but like they are just being toxic because it does 20 less damage then light pen punisher and its medium pen, and the stun rounds aren't meant to kill and people are like "so what are you just going to sit there and stun them so someone else can kill them more easily?" yes, yes I am, plus you can stun chargers if you hit them on their belly side or the but, really great gun for bugs, not s great for bots

The Red Armor was supposed to be the Heavy variant (it looks more bulky) but at some point AH had an idea that the Jin Roh armor would be a best seller in the store (just look how they did for the first time ever, with cape and player card) and it needed to be Medium armor because of the appearance. But in the warbond, having just light and heavy armor would not be so popular and decided to make the red armor also medium. It makes sense?

This gun seems to be out of it's comfort zone against the bugs with the exception of Alpha Commanders and Bile Spewers. Aside from those two enemies it's really only a stun gun to be paired with a trash clearing support weapon. Incendiary Breaker is still superior. It's why I still have the most kills in a full lobby despite doing objectives and being a loot goblin (no kill farming). This isn't me trying to brag. It's just a clear performance indicator of a weapon. Not many people use it anymore and you can definitely feel it on Super Helldive that lots of players have issues with killing stuff fast enough to create space to do objectives and loot which means the rest of the team has to do more.
UI bugs: Reloading doesn't always happen. Push button (spam it...), and will only do it after several clicks. Great video, thanks for demoing the shotgun. Just picked it up, looking forward to using it!
Well they kinda do suck. Or rather, they don't bring anything other weapons don't do alot better. Also, the dude got some pretty valid points if people bothered to listen to them instead jumping to conclusions.

Don't forget that pouncers die in 1 melee attack. Can save you a bunch of ammo. Also you can switch to you stun magazine when running on empty to help make some space!
I dont fight the bugs very often unless the MO calls for it, but it's decent vs the bots. Especially the berserkers once they're close. The stun round is a beautiful addition as well.

This update when you call in strategems, the last input you enter will be locked out until you press the button again. So you have to double tap forward to keep walking forward if UP is the last input, double tap left to move left if LEFT is the last input etc. I'm also CONSTANTLY clicking outside the window this update. And there's lots of name plate and shadow glitches too. Lots of frustrating stuff.
yeah this update make input between strategem and normal WASD become so damn annoying or the scroll wheel as well .....i want 2 of those revert back the way before.
I had that problem too, but not only strafing. I just have problem moving in all directions after using an strategem, I thought it was just my keyboard.
instead of wasting ammo on scavengers and pouncers you can just melee them and itll take care of em lickety split, it would probably help with the ammo economy of the shotgun
6:01 You don't even need to spam the reload with the Halt. You still have a whole extra magazine that you're not even using. If you go into your controller settings, you can change the round toggle from tap and hold to change the round type. To just tapping the button. So you won't have to hold down the toggle and then use the d-pad to switch ammunition. You'll be able to just tap the button, and it switches automatically. But then you can still tap and hold it to toggle your light on and off. It works for any gun, like the autocannon to toggle between flak and regular ammunition.
Honestly, the only thing that could make the Halt better would be a dedicated ammo-program swap button, or if the 12 shots could all be in a single clip.
This weapon is amazing with a buddy near, on stun its really effective at halting (heh) the enemies at farther distances than it can kill even, its safe to let someone else do the kill or switch to a support weapon!
I really enjoy this warbond. The weapons are equally cool and useful and the armor sets look amazing. I am not usually a fan if Hellpod, pelican and mech skins but they are awesome this time. Honestly an S Tier warbond.
ive found you can stun chargers from the front by bouncing shots under them and hitting their belly (I think ?). i usually works for me if you shoot 2-3 shots at their lower face.
To stun the charger with the halt, you hit it in the mouth, the literal mouth right below the forehead. It's not 100% consistent though. Maybe somebody else in the comment section can clarify a more consistent way
there is a stun round you have to toggle, hold r right click. yes lots of ui bugs, my gun secondary keeps phasing out and the diver just walks around with ghis arms up no crosshair...
Will be much better if devs just don't make a separated meg for stun rounds, they're basically wasting effort on something that no one needed. And will be appreciated if they use the effort to make a hot key for switch ammo types instead of hold down "R" and not be able to switch when ADS.

If I am honest, I choose my guns based on how they sound, not always how they perform. HMG? Sounds nice so it gets a pass. The Halt? Real nice and rhythmic. The Arc Thrower? You know, I love electric weapons in this game, but I hate how the arc thrower sounds. Can’t use it at all. If there was a continuous arc emitter then maybe it would sound better, like an electric spraying machine gun that sounded like a Tesla coil. The rhythm of the shot gun, the whoosh of the flame thrower, the clicks of the sniper rifle, are what I use to pick my weapons.

Takibo, you should use the stun rounds the shotgun has before throwing a stratagem, it comes in clutch, i got 130 kills with my barrage multiple times

i love bringing the mg-turret to bug worlds, it does so much work and has so little cooldown, its basically god-tier.

I've been using this shotgun and then I pair it with a flamethrower it's actually fairly potent

I tried Halt on bugs a couple times and this was my experience too, just burning through ammo on tiny bugs not making much progress.
If it wasnt for the jet pack that gun would look alot worse.
In stead of reloading just switch to the other tube with the stun rounds to by time to reload. That stun round can stun chargers.

I’ve had trouble using stims since update and throwing my first 500k bomb it only goes off on the second time, first ones always wasted

It’s not an instant stun but it’s a build up, so it depends on how many pellets you can hit the weak point with
