You are missing differences in the red band version of the book. That second page there’s a man with guts and entrails hanging out.
nice reviews but you missed several differences in the red band and regular version, so many civilian guts and entrails being spilled. Red band is actually pretty gnarly for a mainline marvel book featuring avengers, but yeah, nothing crazy.

Thank you for comparing the two versions of blood hunt! My store only had the regular version so I had to get that one 😢. It doesn't look like I missed much. The bottom right panel at 22:47 and 22:50 are different too, but it is barely noticeable.

I remember Sectaurs. I remember they had a 5 episode miniseries and Marvel Comics published a comic series under their Star Comics line.
That Space Ghost comic look good.
For the Blood Hunt when you say “you never believe who it is”. I guess right Blade.

I think bloody comics are a good idea but they should go all out! It should be hard rated R. Still though i enjoyed seeing it be a tad more violent. Going to pick up second issue

The body on the ground is different and missing the legs.
blood hunt much like absolute power are both just complete passes for me. roboforce was a cartoon/toyline in the 80's the toys had flexable stretching arms and suction cups on the bottom of their bodies. had all of them when i was a kid. the cartoon didn't last very long.
Now that you described the toys I think I had one of them He was black with a grey face and red arms.
I really don't like the idea of making Blade into a villain for this event because this is such a bad idea in my opinion.
Marvel is full of bad ideas
@@ChrisLovesComics oh I agree heck even in my own review of this event on my UA-cam channel I called this idea of making blade the main villain of this event was a garbage idea from the beginning at least in my opinion.

Mike I always redeem my marvel digital codes and Get Fury promised one right on the front cover. It's NOT in there. I contacted Marvel and they basically said "oh well!" Not sure of that means it will be worth more or less! False advertising, Marvel!
Unfortunately that comic will not be worth anything these are characters that have been around forever. Just enjoy the story 😁 A missing digital code will not add significant value.
I could not get into the Deadpool/Wolverine WTF 😅
It was just way to all over the road & totally lacked in the story dept, leaving the reader in shambles.
However I did enjoy the art, but I will most likely not continue with it.
It’s not World War 3, it’s Wade Wilson 3rd, does it not state that in the issue? Ennis on Punisher is a must have, great start to that series. 👍

I agree the redband edition was a total cash grab but I will buy both. Get fury was definitely more explicit and it was awesome!

My big problem with Blood Hunt was that it was a long action scene with no context given to non readers of Moon Knight and Blade. If it weren’t for the comic sites, I’d have no clue what was going on with who and why.
The Blade series had nothing to do with this, you are hurt by not reading Moon Knight though.

Thanks for the comparison! It’s actually criminal how they stole money from people marketing a book as totally different when all they did was put in more ads lol. I feel like the marvel execs are just trying ways to take money being like “no way people actually fall for this”
They marketed it as a more mature version of the book, which it definitely was. The last page is entirely different.

There are a bunch of Spin off books because the event takes place through the entire Marvel Universe

Each time comic increase their prices, I pull back my shopping list.
I’ll wait for the Bloodhunt trade. $8 for 20 or so pages of comics is ridiculous. And I hate the title spread pages or roll call page. Is that a Jonathan Hickman thing that has spread to other comics? I don’t count those pages as comic content pages; they are a waste of paper.
Are all Dynamic comics $4.99 now? Never really buy their titles consistently, but definitely skipping Space Ghost or the Power Rangers book.
