I'd never heard of "The Maker" before, so thanks for introducing it to us! It's such a bittersweet, poignant film and your dolls are a beautiful tribute to it! ❤🎻⏳
i'm a huge fan of stylized eyebrows, i think they blur the line between human and cartoon, and help tell the story so well. Your idea of inverted commas are great.
I’ve seen some videos where they give the Saran hairs a boil wash to get them to lay flatter. I also am just finding the short film the maker from this and I love it. The dolls are a great representation of the characters in the film.😊
Thank you so much, Caytlin! Yeah, I did boil wash them before attempting to style, but it just wasn't laying right. I think I rooted them too thick😅 I'll try again next time hehe
They look fantastic, their both my third favorite Valentine dolls, I love everyone's Valentine collab dolls. 4:56 Maybe you can save the rejected hairs [ blacks & rainbow & the pink] for another dolls, See you next time.
I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THEM AT THE END OF ENCHANTARIUM’S VID!! i was OBSESSED with this short when i was like 11, finally she’s getting her flowers!!! 😭💕💗💖💞
ALL THESE YEARS I have been wondering what that tool was called! It's an airbrush cleaner! Thank you, oh my gosh, I'm so glad you said it, now I have a better chance of finding it. XD Massive round of applause for making something self indulgent (self in-doll-gent?) Anna, these two came out really cute! Also thank you for showing your process on the hands, that was really interesting!
Hehehe glad I could help! I also see people/stores call it a sniperbrush if that helps. The ones I have is by a brand called Mig (I think), the AMMO sniperbrush set. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Kat!❤️
❤❤❤ Oh! How beautiful is this couple! I love the masks. I didn't know about that video and that story and I loved it. Your version seems very pretty and very elegant to me, it is a very sweet couple. I think the boy's jacket is very cute, and his rainbow bangs is a great detail. And she is beautiful, with those dancer's feet and that charming face. Very good job! ❤❤❤
They are a perfect matching pair.I love all the little details, but the blob eyevrows do make them look sad not happy.?Apart from that they are beautiful and I love the outfits too 🥰
Thanks so much for watching, Christine! Yeah, that's what I was going for- sort of a sad/bittersweet smile. The short film is very much bittersweet, so I wanted to incorporate that😊💕
I just saw that the other day! But I'm not sure if I want to read it or not hehe. I'm scared it'll fill in too many of the blanks and take away the mystery of it for me. Maybe oneday heh. Thanks for watching!💕
@@DollyAnna it’s a fun little book. It mostly deals with the main character who is a maker trying to overthrow a tyrannical ruler. In many ways the makers retain their mystery as the story focuses more on the world and the makers place in it rather getting into what exactly they are
Not me forgetting to edit out the double "I want to age them a bit" 😬 Forgive me. I was tired haha🤣

The tiny book you made is insane with the tiny details!! It's so cool you added the book!! The tiny details are my favorite part.
Aw, thank you so much!! I had a lot of fun making it🤭💕

Idk if you know this but the creators of that short actually wrote a whole novel about the creatures and their story
