Once chipped my tooth in a pool, Orthodontist noticed this on my last day of braces and polished it down with a warm chuckle after hearing the story. Didn't need to numb me up or anything, and it didn't hurt; but it was more comfortable afterwards...

hey since your an orthodontist, i wanna ask, it’s been a year since my dentist put these metal things in my tooth because my growing teeth finds it way, and it’s almost there, what do i do?
Oh, I did this with my front tooth when I was a child. It was brand new permanent tooth just after it grown up, there was something on its internal side that bothered me all the time. And I just shave it with mother's nail file. I was 7,8 or 9 years old😅 This tooth is ok and still with me at 35, but its lower edge could look better)
I had my lower bottom tooth virtually “bulldozed out” (don’t go to Orthodontics of the Southern Tier, Mostafa DDS @ Johnson City NY). Now thanks to my large upper teeth I totally look like an awkward beaver. And on top of that the doc just worsened my TMJD symptom than what I asked for
If Google search says TMJ can’t kill you, that’s probably true. But how I happen to meet all the wrong doctors ever since I was a minor is a mystery I feel will hardly ever be solved. I’ve been trying all the stuff I could find on what I think is legal while not knowing how nor being taught what is what in the first place

This is such a massive mistake, omg... Would've been better to just build out that "shorter" tooth instead with composite or something... Thats what my dentist did for my chipped tooth... It would do less damage to his teeth, lol, and would generally be cheaper than invisalign.
