History
The 1989 debut witnessed the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” as one of the original four colorways. In contrast to the 2012 edition, the upcoming 2024 retro release will faithfully replicate the original specifications, featuring the coveted “Nike Air” branding for an authentic ’89 look.
The Air Jordan 4 showcases a timeless color scheme consisting of Off-White, Military Blue, and Neutral Grey. Its upper is crafted from Off-White leather with overlays in Neutral Grey adorning the toe area. The design is elevated by Military Blue accents on the eyelets, midsole, heel tabs, and Jumpman logos on the tongues. Adding to the authenticity, the heels bear “Nike Air” branding in White, while a White, Blue, and Grey rubber outsole completes the overall aesthetic. *When these last came out I was a sophomore in high school & I couldn’t afford a shoe like this, I could only afford shoes from thrift stores & when I heard these were coming out again the teen in me was hyped & randomly last week I downloaded sneakers app & saw that a shock drop was happening the following day, little did I know that I was going to hit on them & in full circle moment they arrived yesterday & I’m happy with them*

I have seen alot of hate for the reimagined breds but I personally love them! The leather looks so much better than the suede for me
Just had a 2nd release of the Military Blue's here in Oz, no fanfare easily and readily available on-line so glad to have gotten a pair💙
Texture with the leather is slightly elevated on the re-imagines but fit/sizing and on-feet comfort is identical on both. SB edges out the 2 in every aspect and add the softer, flexible rubber on the support wings, is also easier to lace up and remove.
I love that they rose the cages on the netting like the ogs and 1999 pairs
I’m a military Veteran, retired after 22 years. Explain to me and my fellow military vets what the problem is with the word “military”. You acted like we should know why Nike is trying to separate itself from that color name. Explain yourself, please.

Whats good DJ...Just got my Military 4s in yesterday and I really like them...the QC was great on my pair...honestly im more hyped on the Fear 4s but im glad I was able to hit on these...still cant believe I hit after pending for 22 minutes

We living in a time period where hype and collabs reign supreme. If the masses say the pine green is special then they must be... right? Bullshit. No doubt its a good shoe. But I bet if they restocked or sold more pairs the first time around they would be brought down to earth. Its a fuckin white and green Jordan 4. Outside celtics fans or green shoe lovers who really thinks these are doper than military 4s or bred 4s? Hypebeast! thats who. All resale shit aside. No way are those better than the other 2 pairs. If they all released on the same day for the same price and they were a bunch of pairs; no way would the pine greens outsell the other 2 pairs.

@officialfletch6704 so I just got my shock drop pair in the mail Tuesday. And they ain't all that. Ngl. I have the pair from 2010 or '11. And they are still in good condition. And they are much better looking. I'm not gonna say that JB failed on these. But they could have done better. Much better.

Nets are definitely smaller u can see on the military’s blues there’s only 2 rows of netting in between the wings and on the reimagined there almost 3 rows of netting

I like these. It’s a cop thus far. I think it’s a clean understated pair. Not sure about that gloss on the green though. A lot of folks might pass because of that.
These military/ industrial 4’s are okay. In hand, they’re a little disappointing. Again, still a nice shoe. But once you really look at that leather and that blue tint on them🤦🏾♂️ reimagine 4’s take the dub. Military 4’s are still a cop for OG and collection purposes

Only 25% liked the Military Blues more? Good, that means I should be able to cop a pair once I get some other pairs I bought recently finally paid for (Afterpay can get a bit addicting when buying shoes, LOL) because I think the Military Blues are fire.
