Still STUNNING!!! Hs to be on of the best Countaches I have seen. Masterpieces like this are why proper restoration and care is so important so future generations can enjoy these beauties. BTW, you got into it like a champ. Thank you for sharing.
And you didn't mention the dog leg gearbox, not many cars did the dog leg pattern, but once you were moving, made perfect sense for the 2 gears you will mostly be in to be in line. What a pristine example!!
Impeccable specimen, so gorgeous indeed, and a 1984, great. Sir, as you blast along that pristine road in what looks to be somewhere in the vast American south west, I got some serious Cannonball Run movie intro vibes. Nice presentation ! 🇺🇸👌
ive still got my alpine posters from the 80's! as soon as i saw this thumbnail it was instant cannonball run flashbacks. i dont recall seeing a countach with manual windows... sorry lets call them what they are rollup slots. lol i dont care if you have to drive it with the seats facing the rear its still a major part of my childhood. im from MD and in the early 80's there wasnt exotic cars everywhere. there were 2 places , one slod lamborghini in riesterstown Motorcoach and other ferrari American service center in arlington VA. my dad would take me there any time is asked most of the time there wasnt anything we could see but he'd take me anyway. he gave his love of cars to me. ive over 5000 magazines from 1977-2020. this car was in my walls i have hot wheels and models and lego. its such an iconic car and to see people drive them makes it the best. they are cars no matter the value they were made to be driven. the worst thing you can do the these cars is to not drive them. i'll take a silver low body w/red guts please, no wing of course. great car thanks for sharing it . cheers
I've got an 88.5. Countach. It's been my favorite car of all time. I also have a diablo, esprit, Aston, a couple supras and a few more. The thing with the Countach us you can't experience it in a few hours or a day or a week. You need to have one and drive it for at least a month to appreciate what it is and does. How to drive it, sit in it, see out of it, and honestly not be scared of it. I am 6 foot 1 with size 14 shoes and while on paper the Diablo is better in every way. The Countach is by far my favorite.
That front bumper wasn’t an “option”… just like the early fuel injection system on that specific car it was part of the first attempt to gain full DOT safety and emission approval. These 2 valve cars with the modified injection system, originally EVERY 2 valve car had carbs, are the lowest hp version in the Countach family… of course still an Awesome car.
This car Is out of this world...
45 years and still the most beautiful and futuristic car ever made
Such a stunning example! My youth wrapped up in one machine!
Dream car for me!
And he’s right! I had one red, one black Lamborghini poster when I was 15.
Still have both today…. Over 50.

you better drive it in this video or your fans will not forgive you :)
Looks like a god
roll up windows, awesome.
Headquarters, we are still in pursuit of the black Lamborghini.
it looks much better with Farrah Fawcett behind the stearing weel
If Batman needs a new car this is it !

is the car sold?
Yes
What did it end up selling for?
allaround a great car. you have to crawl in quatro patas to get in and out, a small price to pay for a chick magnet
