I really loved Duke. It was so hard to see him suffer. He felt used, lost, hopeless and everytime he built a little bit of trust ... He was my hero. Who would have thought that Nathan's words in season 1, Ep. 5: "when you die, it's gonna be because I killed you myself" were a promise 😞
Duke was definitely the one who deserved the most and got the least. Even though he was helpful and selfless since season 1, episode 1, in season 5 everyone acted as though he was only ever selfish. I think in all of the shows I've seen, he's the best character. So complex and well-written.
I watch a lot of fanvids, and I have to admit this one really stood out. The haunting music complemented the storyline perfectly. The audio cuts were very clear, and the story flowed well. I think you did a great job at showing the essence of the character and the mood of the vid was very moving. Definitely adding to favourites!
Oh my goodness. Duke seriously lacks in videos, so I was very glad when I found this one. It is so beautiful and thoughtful. The voice-overs, the timing of the clips. It's juts wonderful. He is very complex too, so for you to sum him up in this video is just... wow, I could go on forever telling you about how perfect this video is. I'd like to thank you for making it. xx
Every woman he loved died. Claire the redhead. His wife the black lady and then the girl who drowned. Plus Mara when she was killed by her own mother. Was he ever meant to be happy plus he had a daughter he can't ever meet or it will kill him. How screwed up even is that lol
I think I speak for everyone, or most people, at least, when I say Duke's the best character in the series.
I honesty believe Duke had the worst trouble. He was my favorite! I really wanted him to be Audrey... he understood her more .
