Well if you take yamato to play in multiplayer its a bad decision and proves the player to be a newbie. Yamato is basically a relic and best uses for offline grind.
Yamato close combat is only good when face to face, small and fast object like smx-31 or gorshkov can can move to the back of yamato make the main cannon cannot rotate fast enough to follow the movement and by that i took away the "close combat king" tag from yamato
I really wish the Yamato had better air defense lol. I got because of the cannons and how fun it is to use it, but in Tier 3 we're everyone uses missiles and air units your get taken out very quickly. I really wish there wad an option to swap out the air defense. I would be cautious when using this ship because you get attacked alot from missiles and air units.

I had challenged a Yamato during offline mode I lost 90% of my hp in a mater of second with my admiral nakhimov Edit: happy ending I had a tmf 155 for my admiral nakhimov from the codes and I beat the yamato

So in Modern Warships you can give a ship weapons that it wouldn’t have IRL and USS Nemesis won’t even be constructed in our lifetime. Therefore we should be able to change all of the weapons on Yamato and Missouri except the main guns.
