Mimi's kittens are getting so big and beautiful. Poor Nico, he still thinks he is a baby. He needs love and comfort from his grandmother. What a sweet boy. :) 1:00, Nico with a Coco face. Man, he resembles his grandfather quite a bit.

Mimi’s kittens are absolutely adorable and Choco and Latte are getting bigger and developing their unique personalities. Choco’s very pretty girl she reminds me of a snow leopard and Latte’s very cute and has an adventurous spirit. ❤😍😍 Nico’s one special baby kitten. Mimi's kittens are beautiful. They both got Mimi's innocent eyes. They remind me when Mimi was little. Latte seems have a bigger size than Choco. Nico probably just wanna get some more attention than having milk
Female cats wean their young when the teeth of their babies are so developed that they start to hurt the nipples. Nico has no physiological need for Mimi's milk, and her body language in this clip indicates that she is taking evasive action, to keep him away from her milk bar. She was clearly quite exhausted after giving birth, and now starting to regain her strength. She doesn't need Nico acting as a metabolic drain on her recovery. Her milk supply is intended for the little ones who need it.
Actually the more the nipples are stimulated the more milk they produce so Nico is not taking anything from the kittens.
@@christinebaratta7117 On one hand that's true, but as I said, it also places a greater metabolic load on Mimi. She already must ingest 4 times as much high energy food while nursing her babies. If greedy Nico has his way, her food input will need to be increased.

That’s not true. The more the kittens suckle, the more milk you produce. So Nico suckling wouldn’t take any milk from the kittens. That said, he shouldn’t do it because he’s way too big for it now.

If you notice, when Nico goes for Mimi, you'll see TK pushing him gently away, like, "No." It looks like Mimi does similar.
@@KittyKatt_Luna80s Yes you are right on what you wrote but the problem is that this breeder does it all just for views and money using these poor cats and kittens..Nico should be kept separate and away from Mimi and her kittens and also the 2 litters should also be separated for a period and both away from nico

Regarding the two litters, if two Queenies have them fairly close together, they tend to wet-nurse each other's litters. It's a common trait.

NICO is very determined where the nursing box is concerned, he is huffy when the owner removes him, I think he is a little bored with such a sedentary lifelstyle and reverts to baby tactics,I would love to see his antics with the"cat dancer toy " away from the nursery with his older cat family like Charo .❤😊

He's not a teen, he's between baby and toddler. Charo would be toddler phase I think.
@@ampmri2434he was 4 months old when this was filmed. According to charts that would compare to a 6 year old child in human years😉 But I dont think its comparable because a 4 months old male can actually try to mate already, my male cat started really early with trying but all females chased him away 🐈🫢
I’m surprised that there doesn’t seem to be much of a connection between Nico and his Mum Kiki. You never see them together. 😢
@@harriethopper9981maybe because in the wild young male cats leave their mothers and sisters to avoid inbreeding. Its not natural for them to stay with mummy or for the mother to have boys grow up beside them after a certain age. Daughters on the other hand often stays with mommy and sisters. Kiki have not had any daughter yet, only boys ❤️

If it was his mother Kiki then Nico wouldn't stand a chance anymore to try and drink her milk. This is how it works in nature. Since he's constantly around there will be no rest for Mimi in this. Nor will he be disciplined by the other cats. Poor boy. I wished that he had someone to play with.

When the babies are finished? Have you not seen him trying to butt in and join the party, sometimes when the babies are feeding? There is evidence that cats who are weaned late, are prone to an oral fixation, which can lead them to swallow foreign objects. But aside from that, I think poor Mimi deserves not to be taken advantage of, while she is in this vulnerable state.

On the other hand, every activities of eveyone in this family is under the strict control and supervision of the loving and thoughtful Owner..we should rest assured..
@@LeHu-pi2yo thanks for your response. In my opinion, the 'poor babysitter child,' as you (like a good propagandist 😅) refer to him as, is neither poor, a babysitter, or a child. He is in fact a naughty lovable teenage boy, who (although welcomed into the birthing box by the mothers in their, 'awash with motherly hormones' settings) has often been in the way. I felt really sorry for poor Mimi in her postnatal state, when we saw him biting her face, and trying to mount her, as she was feeding one baby, while another crawled around in the background squealing. This was straight after she had given birth. She looked utterly exhausted, so vulnerable, and all she could do was shriek in protest, while Nico was biting her face. I found it quite distressing to watch.

it is quite normal for nursing cat mothers, to share nursing duties. If the mothers and babies are healthy, there is no problem.

Baby? Nico is a naughty adolescent! And his teeth are too big and too sharp at this stage to be anywhere near Mimi's nipples. That is why mama cats wean their young when they do, when the teeth are so developed that they start to hurt their nipples. It is normal for kittens to be completely weaned by 8 to 10 weeks at the latest. Also he's stealing from the little ones who need it.
Lili’s kittens shouldn’t be drinking Mimi’s milk either they should drink from Lili’s nipples.
