It is hull 111 and did sail on the pacific coast. Per YachtWorld listing. A handsome boat for sure. Is it possible to get a usable Bimini fitted for shade? Looks like that would be difficult. Thanks for your reply.
@@RH-lz3om Yes, that was Roger Olson’s boat. He had in Panama for a number of years and sailed it to Houston when he sold it to the new owner. The price is way lower than what he sold it for. He had a hard dodger on it then. If the boat has a dodger, it’s easy to add a piece of canvas from the back edge of the dodger to the boom gallows. I have that on my boat and leave it up most of the time. My son and I visited Roger when he first moved to Panama and was living on the boat. We sailed with him out to the Perles Islands in the Pacific and flew to the stay in a Kuna Village on the Atlantic side. Here is a link to a Google Photos video I made that might be of interest. photos.app.goo.gl/zUXSYy5CtqGBsTP88 Hopefully it will work. It is from 2004. My wife and I visited Roger and his new Columbia’s wife in 2007 as well.
Hello! Beautiful Bristol! That sure looked like a wonderful day!! Thanks for sharing! I am restoring a Falmouth Cutter Hull 11.. hope to have it in the water soon! Thanks for the inspiration!
Captain Morgan Thanks, nice to know that a Falmouth Cutter has found someone to restore her. That is a great boat to trailer down to the Sea of Cortez and enjoy all that the area offers and then simply trailer her home.
@@where-in-the-world Karen and Wayne, I've always wanted to do that.... Especially after reading Mary Ellen White's book... At less than walking speed! Captain Morgan A real Adventure to look forward to. We sailed from San Francisco to Mexico in 2002 and has the boat trucked back. A great 6 month adventure. photos.app.goo.gl/EcR5vxpzKD2Kobee8
@@where-in-the-world Hello again Karen and Wayne, I am watching your amazing video of your trip to Cabo! There are no words!! Simply riveting! Takes my breath away!! Thank y'all for sharing!! That's a nice little boat you folks you have !!! 😀👍✌ Enjoy !!
Thanks, we have.
There is a boat like yours for sale in Houston, where I live. Will check it out after Thanksgiving. Thanks for the video!
If it’s “Nereus” that boat was once owned by Roger Olson, a one time owner of the Sam L Morse Co. If it’s that boat, it is loaded with equipment.

Very Nice video and I love those BCC's.. So solid and the perfect boat for the bay. Thanks a bunch :)
The most beautiful boat in the world... not yours specifically, but BCCs in general. God bless Lyle Hess.
3:00 what a handsome dog!!
Happy you enjoyed it.
Great sailing and boat repetative music
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely!
Thanks Bruce
I was going to have a rant about that not being a real Bristol channel pilot cutter but a lovely video.
Umm … they don't call it a 'pilot' cutter. If they had then, yes, it would have been wrong!
Really enjoyed the video. How is the holding in the spot where you anchored?
Great video. The BCC is a beautiful boat. Also, who plays the songs in the video? I'm a fiddler and am always looking for good music.
Why is the anchorage secret?
Most of this area is silted in. It’s only possible to anchor there with the proper tide and local knowledge.
I hope one day to be an old grinning salty sea dog the same =)
thank you great video
Thanks
super class
Not going to go faster towing a dingy and back winding the main sail.
