I personally would rather see your adventures even if they are simply cooking lunch or going to a park... there is more to you then your medical woes, I like the more, if people feel you are a one trick pony then let them find channels for that... I love seeing your spark of life, the getting ready is cool, watching your smile is nice, missed it
trust me mickey, seeing your growth as a person is EXACTLY what i want to see (whether it is on the internet or off the internet, whatever is best for you!) i like seeing how youve changed and how you feel. also, on the chronic illness side, i totally feel that! i started my youtube channel for vlogs of illness stuff (but i literally couldnt do it haha) but now i make videos of what i want to make, when i want to make them. when you explained your situation i was like “oh my god is that me???” that was exactly what i did everyday/what happened to me. now i barely post on my “sicksta” or any social media other than tiktok (where i just make jokes), and ive dove back into my love for animals, plants, and other things. (sorry if that was cluttered lmao) anyways. whatever you do mickey, you have my support 💗
I'm so glad you decided not to completely quit UA-cam! Content doesn't matter much to me I just love your positive spirit and bubbly personality! I'm so proud of how you're doing in school! I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician (kind of the equivalent of a nurse we just do more) and also had to take med term and there's no difference in pet and human medicine as far as terminology goes. We also go to school to get our basics and then go to tech school for 2yrs. I absolutely loved it and definitely miss it. I've worked in both general practice and ER medicine. I now work for myself as a pet sitter and in veterinary telehealth.
I have a very young grandson with EDS and it's been very interesting watching your journey. I have learned so much from you but I agree, it's not all about your medical issues. You are fun to watch. Do what is good for you. We will be here.
You're maturing and you are right. You're so much more than your medical diagnoses and your illnesses - so I am! I think I will relate to your videos more than ever. I'm 31, so of course I've gathered so much more life experience than you have at your age. I've grown this way that you're growing now, and it was what jump started my life. So, I'm so proud to see you grow in this way. It is exciting that you aren't happy any longer with just repeating the same thing over and over about being sick. You're more than that. So so so much more than that. Eager to see where this realization will bring you!
Growing is part of who we are... if people can't accept you for you, than they have your earlier videos to watch. You are growing into a vibrant young woman, with a plan! I would love to be around to share in whatever part of your life you choose to share, to get to know the grown Micky, the college student, the nurse to be. Your whole life is ahead of you! Grab it and run!💞
You are allowed to grow and evolve, no one is the same person at twenty then they were at sixteen. By sharing other parts of your life it also allows others who may have come to your socials for the medical side to see that there can be more to one’s life and identity than just illness. Llike you said, it’ll always be a part of you but there is so much more that makes you you! I look forward to seeing where this journey takes you, wishing you all the best ❤️
Watching you grow has been enjoyable and seeing you change is really nice too. Just showing everyone you are more than just a walking medical anomaly is fantastic!! Do what makes you feel good. Show us your hobbies, likes and dislikes. We all change as we grow and it’s neat to see that with you. Glad to hear that you’re continuing with your education and chasing that dream. Congratulations on the good grades and the invitation to join the honors group. It’s a lot to keep up with with EDS but you can definitely do it!!!!! You really look happy. P.S. your glasses are really sharp on ya.
Didn’t sub for the med videos, subbed to watch a cool spoonie move through life 😎 Just you chilling and living life matters! Your representation matters 😊
Thanks for the video, I’m pretty sure that all of us are just thrilled you’re living life and you’re excited about things. Thanks for sharing a little of your life with us!
My favorite UA-camrs are the ones who stay authentic and love what they do. If you don't love it don't do it. Your health and your happiness are more important than the videos. We are all more than just our medical conditions.
Hey Mickey! I only got an instagram account because I wanted to be able to check up on how you were doing on and off. I think your explanation of why you haven‘t posted much on UA-cam anymore is very clear and easy to understand, thank you for that. I really liked your videos from the time when you were very sick and learning to cope with it all. But I am just soooooooo happy that you seem to be doing better healthwise and that you look lovely and that you now have a life that is not so much centered on medical issues but on activities and people that bring you joy. I would appreciate a UA-cam vlog from time to time, but you do what you want to do. Love from Germany
Congrats to you. Nursing is amazing. You can do so many different things. I’m a nurse of 35 yrs and my daughter just graduated nursing school passed her boards and just started to work in a hospital. Keep up the good work. So proud of you
I totally understand this even though the way I feel it is a little different. Like when I’m out with people when they’re talking it’s “hey, what have you been up to lately” but my question is always “ how are you feeling” and I know they’re just being nice and checking on me but when that’s the only thing ppl ask for so long it’s gets tiring. I’m just more than that like yes I have health issues but I’m still a teen and what to do the “normal” things. I know my other spoonies will understand this. But as far as your channel goes, I’m gonna stay no matter what!❤️❤️
I seriously want to see all of you, most importantly be yourself, yes post what makes you happy! You’re amazing! We will watch you no matter what, and would love to watch who you are today.
You have always been so generous to share so much of yourself with the world; you are such a wonderful, sweet, incredible woman! I don't spend much time on Instagram anymore, but every now and again, people like you pop into my head and I have to go and check in on them. Keep being awesome, and don't ever feel like you owe UA-cam anything; many people have gotten into a bad place mentally because of how burdened they had become to feel about UA-cam and how they are failing when they can't keep up the content. Remember, family, yourself, and your close friends come before the internet world! By the way, I have watched and shared your window video several times, not just for the story, but because you did such an amazing job telling the story.
I cant imagine the pressure of vlog pressure. Mickey, its just 70,000 of us!! Lol!! Youre doing great!! And that's great inspiration for some of us also not so healthy folks. But please don't feel pressure!!!! We do love you too. God is merciful. Even during difficult times.
Oh please don't quit unless you feel that it is absolutely right for you. You have helped me to understand my diagnosis and helped me to know that I can do this. I can get through it. I would love to see how you are doing now. What you are doing now. How you are living life. You have become part of my life and I would miss you so much. You specifically helped me realize that my wheelchair won't be the end of my life but a tool to help me live my life. You are so upbeat and positive. I love your faith and your shining light. Sending love, prayers, and best wishes for you. With love Rachel
Thank you for sharing your life with us. You are so real and that is refreshing in a platform where so many are not. I look forward to seeing whatever you have to offer.
I don't know about most people but, I watch vloggers videos to see their daily lives and because I love their personalities! Your medical story was initially what brought me to your channel because I was curious and wanted to learn more. But who you are is what kept me coming back to watch more. I want to see where life takes you and how you grow!
I personally enjoy these kind of videos with you more. As I have a daughter with chronic illness close to your age, it helps to see your real life. I get encouraged by seeing how you deal with struggles and all your accomplishments and friends! God Bless!!!
I would love to see videos of you just being you!! I subbed because there are SO few people with chronic illnesses, seeing people who have similar things to me being themselves is a reminder that I am not just my illnesses. We all are not just are illnesses. Be you honey. Just be you.
ok so obviously looks aren't what matters and stuff but i'm not kidding she looks so great. she looks so happy now and her hair is so on fleek and she looks like just so much older and grown up and just like she's ready to take on the world and it makes me so sappy🥺
I love your videos and your insights! I have Myopathic EDS. UA-cam wasn’t around when I was a teen. Everyone grows up and changes & that’s great! Celebrate the phase and season of your life. College was a blast for me. Soak it up and we’ll see you when we do! No pressure!!! :)
I’ve been feeling the same way about my chronic illness page on Instagram. While there’s still part of my medical journey to share, I’m living more of my life. I have a boyfriend who I love dearly and I’m in college and I’m going on more adventures. There’s just more to life than illness and I’m starting to feel like I should share more of my regular day to day stuff. But at the same time I don’t want to be judged for doing the things I’m doing by others in the spoonie community just because they’re not at the same point in their lives or because they don’t understand my personal limits. I feel slightly stuck. I’ve been watching you through your journey on Instagram and here and I’ve fallen in love with u and who you are. Do whatever makes you happiest. Your family on here will always back you no matter what you decide to do. It’s YOUR life! ♥️
We're all so proud of you for where you are and would like to celebrate that. I know I like medical videos because then make me feel less alone, but there's plenty out there. We love you for you, not the pain you endure. I hope you find a new passion here! Also, nursing!! I'm so excited. I essentially gave up on that as a disabled person, incapable of 12 hour shifts or possibly standing sometimes. Maybe I'll look back into it. My job is nice, but I have no passion for it.
Mickey!!!!! I was happy to see this pop up. Having interacted on Instagram recently I think I know the topic. You’ve got my support whatever you decide. We love you and we’ve got your back. You are way more than EDS. Stay Gold.
I am just so very glad to see you and how you've been doing. You're so right we all grow and you dont need to feel pressure to do anything. Chronically ill people have lives outside of the hospital and outside of our conditions. It is a part of us NOT every part of us. Be you beautiful and if that doesnt bring you joy either that's ok. You will never lose us. We love you too!
So glad to see you! You look so good, much healthier and vibrant. I stumbled across you a long time ago and i watched because of your attitude not your illness. So pleased your going to vlog. Best wishes and many Blessings!
It’s good to see YOU! Chronic Illness is just part of our lives, so excited to see the other things about you! 2020 is.....rough this is a boost we all need ❤️ Congratulations on being a full time student!👏🙌❤️
Mickey, you are so much more than your illness and I personally would like hearing about your world now. Tell us how school is going, how your social life is going, latterly anything you are willing to share. We love you as well Mickey.
Just be yourself and don't worry about others. It is good to see you though. College does take so much time and effort. You are such an amazing person and share what you want when you want.
oh please don't stop just do it when you feel like it , i love medical hauls and organizing , im a medical nerd , i watch the frey life as well, my son is special needs and chronically ill, he is in testing now for eds and im learning so much from you and sure i can learn so much more , day in life videos , and more , glad your here...my son is 17 and already 2 knee surgeries and more
We look forward to your posts because after watching for a while we are vested in you. We admire your strength and personality in dealing with your life. I’m sure we would like to see you grow and change.
You’re growing into an amazing woman. I’d love to follow your progress. What classes do you take? Why? What’s your passion now? I’m 60 years old and adore watching young women taking the reins. Edit. Clearly I wrote the above before your vid was over.
Vlogs with a little 'medical side note' from time to time is definitely something i am going to watch. Your wheelchair video did some awesome help to get forward knowledge and decision help for my "niece" with muscle dystrophy. She will get this electronic helper engine ... Darn forgot the name. 20... Me being 35 giving some advice: you change while aging and that's okay. Learning from the past is good. Being happy with yourself is essential for a good sleep. Blessings and greetings from germany... And a big thank you for everything
Bless you poppet! Do what you feel is right for YOU! life moves forward don’t feel you are obligated to do anything live life it’s there for the taking! Love from the UK.. I think you know my friend Beth! ♥️🦓♥️you’re doing amazing go be the superstar you are xx
Whatever your decision is you have to do what is best for your own life! I have missed you on here. You look amazing. I am glad you are able to do more stuff!
So I really love this thank you Mickey. I spent about the past half year dealing with medical stuff. And I'm also so over it and I'm not following much of the chronic community. I think I'm only following you and Lauren on Instagram. so it's fun to see you back at UA-cam and kind of the same place that I am.
So when I started watching your UA-cam videos. I was simply looking for someone with Eds I could relate with because I knew no one. We share all the same co morbidities and such and are closer in age than most I know with Eds that are still alive.. But like you, I am more than my illness, and get tired of watching medical related videos because we are more than that. I actually enjoy watching people I know who have illness who just share there life in full, not just direct the medical part of it. I have to deal with my own too, and it can be overpowering to have it surrounding in a way. There is a time and place to focus in as we all know. But can be depressing to linger there for years. So I am and always will be here for YOU, and so excited to see the life you live balancing it all. Because anyone with chronic illness relates to you. Even if it isn't a platform they share the details of their life with, maybe its family and friends who kindly (or maybe skeptically) ask how we are all fairing with our complicated lives. It gets exhausting repeating over, and OVER. We are people too, and want to be treated like we are more than what we battle day in and out.. anyway, good for you sista, excited to see whatever, and whenever you post! no worry or stress. We enjoy watching you enjoy your life to the best of your ability! Or share in the struggle
I would LOVE to watch you vlog or do make up or do medical videos whatever you want!! I adore your personality and you've always been an inspiration to me. I'm so glad to see you back.
I think it would be super cool to see non-medical related stuff!! I agree that your medical story has been told, but I also think like, if something new comes up we'd love to hear about it! I think you'll find as well that since it's such a part of your life that it'll bleed into other things as well, and there's nothing wrong with that, and we'll love whatever you have to show us. Since you have such complex health issues, vlogs of miscellaneous things will have a unique perspective, because as someone with health issues, I know how much it changes a lot of things. UA-cam is such a customizable platform that there's no reason that you should be unhappy with it, because there's so many directions you can take it in. I hope you come back to making content!! We all love you
We are ALL happy for you ... college, lots of friends, everything. Go with your real life and enjoy. Post when you like, do other videos when you're in the mood. We will be happy for you. Whatever you do.
I will take you however I can get you, I love your videos. I want to see you, grow with you! It’s okay to grow and be different then you were as a kid. Show us who you are now! We still love you so much!
3 parter: First: Do whatever makes you happy and keeps you positive pursue that. Second: UA-cam the company owned by Google is part of that problem. It resulted in me deciding to make all of my videos on my first channel private and I haven't done a video in years. Third: I would be glad with vlogs. Amy Lee has 2 channels to keep medical content and vlogs separate so burn out is less likely. Oh I still have all of my LEGO (boxes of hundreds of thousands).
Hi Micky loved the blog yes please share more of adventures. Thouse are my favorite kind of videos seeing the daily life and all the fun and exciting things you do. Please do college videos showing what you do,your experience and classes just Everything really. Have a great day Micky love Rachel
You should do more videos sharing that life is more than just a chronic illness, people need to know what you are capable of even when your body is working against you
I am glad you made a new video. I agree with others it doesn't have to be soley about EDS, it is part of you but doesn't define you. I am 40 with EDS and comorbidities, so I understand not wanting it to be all about that.I enjoyed watching this video and hope you continue to make more.
Just do what you want to do. I’ve been thinking for a long time that I really should make videos or try to at least, but I just never get around to doing anything. But I do enjoy watching various videos on UA-cam so that’s more my way of using UA-cam: watching videos and maybe comment on something every once in a while, and I’m fine with that. I don’t care what type of videos someone makes, if it’s a UA-cam channel I like then I enjoy watching various types of videos from that channel, everything doesn’t have to be like the early content, variation is fun!
Hey sweetheart!! I’m so happy to see your beautiful face!! Your voice has a strength in it I haventheart in so long! You do what makes you thrive!!!! We are here cuz we care and adore you!!!💜☀️👍🏻🙏🏻🌻🥰
I love your hair you look so different and im so glad your not quiting UA-cam your amazing young woman and two see you so so happy has made my day and so happy your doing so well in your education you look so much happy please stay on UA-cam we love you and love to see the new you love you so so much 💜💜💕💕💕💕💕💞💞💞💞💗💗💖💖💖💝💝💝💝💝😘💯💯💯
Wow you look great. You always have a positive attitude. That's why I like you. Im ok with whatever you do on utube or post on Instagram. You are more than your chronic illnesses. Looking forward to this next chapter in your adult life. I wish you all the best💖
Mickey cariad, this is YOUR channel to do with as YOU want, whether that means being on UA-cam or not. I’m always glad to see you, but respect your space too, as should all your subscribers xxxxxxxxx
Your voters would rather watch you grow than watch you go back to something you aren’t. Now you get the opportunity to live a life whilst you just happen to be a little sick. I’m glad to see you living a life, something you missed out on for years.
your friend Jamie sound british.
Both Jamie and Lauren are British!
I personally would rather see your adventures even if they are simply cooking lunch or going to a park... there is more to you then your medical woes, I like the more, if people feel you are a one trick pony then let them find channels for that... I think we’ll all respect whatever choice you make 💜
But we missed you!
I love vlogs, and love seeing you so grown up. You do videos that make you happy. I will be happy to watch any of them. You go girl!!

So glad to see you! You look so good, much healthier and vibrant. I stumbled across you a long time ago and i watched because of your attitude not your illness. So pleased your going to vlog. Best wishes and many Blessings!
I'm glad you're back, I don't mind what content you post as long as you are happy with it
It’s good to see YOU!

Especially your facial color looks wayyy healthier
We look forward to your posts because after watching for a while we are vested in you. We admire your strength and personality in dealing with your life. I’m sure we would like to see you grow and change.
You’re growing into an amazing woman. I’d love to follow your progress. What classes do you take? Why? What’s your passion now? I’m 60 years old and adore watching young women taking the reins.
Edit. Clearly I wrote the above before your vid was over.
Love this and love that you've decided to go with your passions and your heart, it's so good to see YOU :)
I think this is the first time ever I've been able to make it to a live video
Me too
Same
Vlogs with a little 'medical side note' from time to time is definitely something i am going to watch.
I pray for you, keep smiling like this forever💐☺️☺️☺️
Bless you poppet! Do what you feel is right for YOU! life moves forward don’t feel you are obligated to do anything live life it’s there for the taking! Love from the UK.. I think you know my friend Beth! ♥️🦓♥️you’re doing amazing go be the superstar you are xx
Follow your heart, If it's a struggle or feels like a job, then it's not worth it.
Looking forward to seeing more like this (or whatever you want to post) when you have the time to make videos. Good to see you back again! xx
I am so excited to see all you can do
Whatever your decision is you have to do what is best for your own life!
3 parter:
First: Do whatever makes you happy and keeps you positive pursue that.
I'm so glad you are posting again! As a video suggestion, I think you should do a collaboration video with another youtuber at some point!
We like the real Mickey, the one you truly are ❤
We love present Mickey as much as we loved past Mickey!
DO NOT QUIT PLEASE NOOOO
I feel it’s ok if someone wants to leave UA-cam. You do you and you make yourself happy 😊 people grow & thats ok
I love vlogs! Do what you love and we will all enjoy watching it
I'm probably one of many who hopes to see more of you again.
Also, we all have seasons when our life it over run by our med issues. So we got to take life by the reins and enjoy it when it is available!

Mickey cariad, this is YOUR channel to do with as YOU want, whether that means being on UA-cam or not. I’m always glad to see you, but respect your space too, as should all your subscribers xxxxxxxxx

Mickey 2.0, the sequel! Part one is over, so move on to what's next. Sounds good, can't wait to see what's in store with you😀
Your voters would rather watch you grow than watch you go back to something you aren’t. Now you get the opportunity to live a life whilst you just happen to be a little sick. I’m glad to see you living a life, something you missed out on for years.
Im glad you chose to stay x
