will you ever do a sit down video and talk about the last few years of your life and the big changes you have been through? i feel like you have never discussed it with us, just went from being single grace who never dated to being married and settled down , without even acknowledging it properly to your audience. It would be interesting to hear you talk about how it has felt, and how you adjusted to such big life changes, moving out of your parents and 'growing up' so quickly

What a sweet gift - a bespoke advent calendar for your hubs!
My husband, on our 25th wedding anniversary, collected 25 small gifts - 1 for each year - that had special significance (everything from a tiny plastic dog to a birdhouse to some special wine...all special memories) and put them all in a basket as his gift to m. It was so sweet and so romantic - I was so very touched at his thoughtfulness.
As for your salt dough decorations --- I did those when I was in college and gave them to my mother --- she used them on her tree for YEARS!!! Mine were mostly animals and I had so much fun making and painting them ... loved using the garlic press to make a mane for the lion and the wool for the sheep!
This is probably the first Christmas I’ve been looking forward to in a long time. I get to spend it at home, in my own space, with my partner and step son. We only moved in together this year, so it feels more special! I’m so looking forward to sitting in my pyjamas and just relaxing in my own space.

For my husband last year I got him a lego set and split it up into 25 little bags so he didn't know what the lego was until nearer the end !
When I did the same kind of advent calendar for my husband I found lots of things wouldn't fit. So in those doors I wrote a clue and hid the item somewhere in our home!
in French we say "mariage pluvieux mariage heureux" rainy wedding happy wedding! lots of love!

Good call Grace - Surveys don't often show major problems. I bought a property back in the late 2000s. I then found out that one of the rooms had 'rising damp'. Thankfully it was easily remedied. Loved seeing Banksy in your Vlog and your personalised Advent calendar for Mr. Grack.

I've made one for my partner and got these cute Christmas dinosaur bags and put socks, miniature whiskeys and sweets etc coz he doesn't do chocolate either. It was like a goody bag each day. He loved it 😊

Grace you need to make a mix jar. I have popcorn, nuts, chocolate buttons, pretzels and whatever i fancy it's so good. supermarkets do their own mixes (tesco's are the best) but i wanted to add more fun things. I saw a girl on tiktok make on as well. So fun. i call it my Merry Mix
haven't commented before ahh but this christmas i really want to go on a bunch of fun holiday solo dates (: recently got broken up with and it'll be my first single x-mas in a couple years, so heres to re-learning how to have fun on my own !

My friend had her dishwasher start a fire in her kitchen...Get an electrician to check that the unit is ok and has not damaged the wires in the wall...because the company representative might not. You house will get renovated bit by bit and that is the best way!

Silent watcher here. I've been watching your videos since winter 2019, so almost 5 years, which is crazy... yours is such a comfort channel for me. I'm currently experiencing an early miscarriage so everything kind of sucks, but it will be okay 🙃. And I don't celebrate Christmas BUT for Chanuka I'm looking forward to making latkes and eating fancy doughnuts. Maybe I'll even make some homemade doughnuts if I have time. 😋

i’m doing good! the holidays are so exciting but can be stressful as well. this year i’d like to make a dessert i’ve never made before for christmas dinner. i can’t decide what dessert i want to try! i’ll probably also bring a side dish of some sort.

Here in France, I have seen and bought a tube of just baby blue Smarties as they are a special festive version.

I almost never comment, but this Christmas, I bought all my ribbon at thrift shops over the past few months, and I'm going to hand-print my own wrapping paper and tags for all my gifts. (I think...I may run out of motivation at some point.)

For the Advent calendar, could it be painted? Like some acrylic paint and then you can do stickers or Sharpie markers to decorate it. I love the idea of the a bespoke calendar!❤
Omg I'm a Lego addict. The best Lego to buy for advent calendar are polybags, for example Lego creator 3in1 panda or parrot. Oooor if he likes cars, Lego speed champions 🎉
For your bathtub... are you able to get it refinished? That has helped me in the past with tubs that just never felt clean or my own

Try putting the chocolate buttons on the pretzels and then put in the oven for 2-3 minutes.

Try oats in your bath, it's great for your skin and I usually add a few drops of essential oil
I used to use oats to exfoliate my face and my skin was always sooo soft afterwards! I heard oats in a sock stop them going down the drain. Do you put them in anything?
@@joshow926 me too, it's great for senstive and dry skin! I usually put them into a large muslin bag but I have just sprinkled them into the water in the past, using something to put them in is def the better option 🙂
Asbestos is so sneaky because it really wasn’t documented back in the day. It’s also not something to play with, my dad expired from asbestosis and the exposure happened years before anyone had any idea.

Are you going to "archive" your wedding dress now that you have gotten it cleaned? They seal it in acid-free packaging in a lovely box as a keepsake or for your children to wear at their weddings .....

We paid someone to take samples and then get it removed. It was pretty spenny!
Silent watcher: we are going to our first Christmas winter wonderland! And what I’m most excited for…. The Yorkshire pudding wraps!!! It’s at bluewater shopping Center and the tickets aren’t that expensive!
I dont know much about how ovens and air fryers work, or science but my intuition is telling me the airfryer sucked all the water molecules out of the chocolate so it wasnt able to melt it when you switched to the oven. I dont think there was enough wet particles left for them to melt.. the fat and sugar baked or fried and solidifed instead of turning liquidy...someone please confirm in a more sciencey way?😅😬🙈
