We need a culture that fosters leaders that get the healing of their insecurities, brokenness, and mental health issues on the front end of their leadership journeys. That needs to be the new normal.

I don’t know, there is a lot of truth in what you are saying, but healing and deliverance models such as Unbound, Sozo & RTF as well as the increasing acceptance of therapy has changed the churches across the denominational spectrum, certainly amongst churches influenced by the charismatic renewal in the UK.
Jesus is alive please save the humans from the media and deceptive political leaders who does not want us to depend on Jesus. Let's all call out for outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Shawn, I felt so much oppressed spiritually and mentally. I thank God I was led to find your channel again and stumbled upon this
What I note as a gamechanger for me is when he said about relying on our strength
I have been tired in ministry and finance right now. I stumbled into a situation which truthfully I didn't desire
Tried my best to do A, B, C to help myself even relying on the old revelation of God's way
but in the end all of them aren't relying on God
I guess I have found the answer
I need to rely on God and not on my own

I am so glad this came in front of me on my feed just now, Pastor Sean, and I would love to encourage people to get the counselling and support that they need.
I believe that counselling is something I will be doing in the future once I have some more training.
I haven’t heard of this company or ministry, but it sounds good. I like the fact that they prayed at the end of the video for the people who needed the prayer.
I don’t think there’s anybody who doesn’t need some form of counselling or ministry, in the church.
From my observations, most people put on a mask when they go to church on Sunday.
I am glad that you say things are starting to change.

Timely 😢 thank you ❤Recently a local Pastor committed suicide in our largest church in our county in Idaho. Then another Pastor confessed and repented to his Board that he’s going to Therapy then the Board asked him to Resign.
Colossians 3 is all about Maturity of Love and what church leadership is lacking... so sad. The Pastor that’s forced to step down served the community and men in our community the most after his fellow Pastor committed suicide.
i told the Lord to do whatever he a he wants with me he saw the healing that i needed and he had the love and power to do it

Big hug from Las Vegas NV. I am so glad that you are talking about this issue. Depresion and mental health is such a big problem withing the Christian community but people are not open to talking or think that they are alone in those feelings.
Pastor Shawn, do you remember my pastor Sam Goulet from ICLV? He is now at Mountain Church. We just had a conference day to talk about this. There is a book by Pastor Tim Rowland called "Heart Freedom". The God given wisdom in the book is helping me tremendously. This book is a blessing for me and I love what it has done for Pastors Tim.

Please pray for healing from Bipolar it has ruined my time and identity. I have been praying to Jesus for healing, I do not know God's plan. I am also praying for baptism in the Holy Spirit. Jesus is alive and takes care of all. Please keep your hopes alive. From India.
Some of the churches don't recognize the error or doctrinal stagnation. Refusal to recognize or rely on the HolySpirit. Churches and or Christian that think they have arrived (know it all) The error that the Lord showed me was counterproductive beliefs that are enemies of the gospel enemies of faith and downright demonic. My healing and recovery has been a long journey with alot of opposition from people and because of the opposition people followed that as a sign that recovering was "not the will of God" but God's word didn't say those words to me. I know what God's word says. The attacks were to delay my recovery and cause setbacks.

The majority are struggling financially

I'd love to do RTF but when I looked into it years ago it cost £600 - so sadly it was impossible. I still need it now but can't cos of cost. Pity. It does look really good.
Often ministers will give discount, or, like in my case, an rtf minister still training, can do rtf ministry for free only.

This is not an epidemic mental illness and struggle have been around for centuries the church has neglected this area they just say have the mind of Christ well it's easier said than done and it's time about time that the church stepped up to the plate and started addressing the mind because I'm pretty sure the Apostle Paul after being out of in and out of prison or Joseph being in and out of prison had mental illness he had trauma he had PTSD but it's never been addressed by the church
Pastor Sean, I want to share a dream that I had with you in it last night, which I believe, is from the Lord - though I have no idea what it really means.
You were coming to look at my dislocated or out of joint shoulder? Almost like a doctor or a nurse - and so that everything was appropriate and aboveboard, I was going to put my T-shirt on, and you were going to bring another person, who was a young boy, so that we were not on our own together.
That’s about all, I remember from the dream.
It seems very simple and probably easy to understand the meaning, but I don’t really know what the Lord is actually saying.
So hopefully you will know what the Lord is saying to you. 👨🏽⚕️
