Just came from the Chinook build video and I have to say this is one of my new favorite channels. I’m sure I won’t be the only one watching all your videos to catch up on the adventures. Hello from Utah!
Back in 1985 I was in south Baja when I was flagged down by a guy from California who had been stuck for 4 days on a remote beach. I asked if he was aired down, he wasn't, but I told him I would need 20 minutes to unhook the trailer from my Hilex and air down too. Just when I started onto the sand for his location he came cruising up all good. Airing down was a new concept back then. Cheers from Yukon.
I live in Tijuana and love to travel Baja and you guys really did your research, because you are going places that are not that known and that are pretty off grid. Hope you can travel to Baja more and make more videos. See you out there.
Loved your latest video. Wish you weren’t on this adventure alone. I’ve heard it over and over. Don’t go four wheeling alone. Safety in numbers. US tells people not to travel to Mexico and off y’all go. I pray for your safety. I love the new wheels and tires. They look awesome and hope the tires are as tough as they look. Did you get front and rear lockers working yet? How’s your engine temps doing? Take care and may the Lord be with you.
We're apart of a group of hundreds of overlanders doing the same route we're planning. We feel very good about our plans and staying safe while being smart. Engine temps are OK. Thanks for the comment!
A real adventure always requires a bit of discomfort. A storm at sea, lost in the desert or a plane low on fuel. After all, what fun is having all of your ducks lined up? Both you guys and the Toyota look like you were made for this. Have fun.
DDH with T45 citra and mosaic .. DDH stands for Double dry hopping... which is the technique of adding hops after fermentation to enhance aroma and flavor. T45 is a type of hop pellet that is processed to remove some vegetal materials to increase the concentration of alpha acids and essential oils. Citra and Mosaic are two varieties of hops...known to have tropical elements of fruit and citrus.
My gut wanted you to cross the mud, good thing you guys are smarter than I am! Love the videos, amazing to watch the adventure after watching the build.
Cheers from south west Florida! Glenn here. 85 4Runner. Me and my gf love watching you guys! Be safe and have fun! Love the no driving at night rule! Never know. Also try to get some night sky shots! The stars must be amazing with no light pollution from cities! Godspeed my friends! 🤙🏼🍺😎
All I can think is, where is the gas station! Do you pack jerry cans? And the herbalist in me really wants to know what all those punk flowers are!! Wow guys. Amazing, you are so brave to be off the main roads exploring this way. Stay safe XO
Aaah so you are missing a peace of recovery equipment called a pull pall!! Popular in the land down under it is a reverse anchor for whinching where there is nothing! Would be a easy thing to build with some nice plasma cut out brand badges in the middle and should fit on the tire carrier. See lots covering the spare against the rim. Great work on your video its looking more and more like something off a premium streaming service you both are killing it! 👌👍👍
The 'ol land anchor! Yup, definitely useful, but not the easiest to store! At the very least We can bury our spare tire and use it as an anchor to winch off, last resort kind of thing.
It's like I always say " Canadians are tough, funny and crazy people " And props on the video production and editing 👏 Bravo my northern neighbors 👏 Bravo! Keep on Trucking!
I did that area and Guadalupe Hot springs about 10 years ago in an Astrovan. I bought a Land Cruiser when I got back. San Felipe! Great people down there. Glad you are being prudent in your off road choices. Thanks so much for sharing
Our dag did the cactus kick when we arrived at Joshua Tree. He jumped back in the car and was ready to head back home He was fine in the morning... Glad you didn't let a bit of cactus deture your trip
@@ToyotaWorldRunners by all means that's part of the adventure, is it not? Exploring earth and your taste buds. I would be a little upset if you guys didn't get to go to a tequila distillery and drank some with reviews.
LOVED this video! Stacey's little song at the end was perfect ❤️ You both seem to make sensible and wise decisions which makes me happy! The scenery, photography etc is maaaavelous 👌😍❤️🥰
I think since you’re in Mexico you should do a Tequila tasting. May I recommend a couple great sipping ones to you…..Los Abuelos, G4, Wild Common, Volans, Cascahuin. If you see any of those brands just try any of those in a blanco. Another great video be safe!
@@ToyotaWorldRunners these tequilas are not for shots they are sipping tequilas. Look at how to taste and sip tequila on UA-cam 😋 Will try to turn you into a fan of tequila before you leave Mexico!
You guys need to very careful wherever you go. In small towns and big towns the cartels are always looking for people to either kidnap or to get money from. There are a lot of roads in Mexico that have checkpoints and that look like police but they are the cartels. Always be on the lookout for anything suspicious and be extremely cautious of everything. Same thing goes with drinks, there are a lot of places that offer you drinks and they put drugs in them in . We know sole people who have gone to Mexico and they put drugs in their drinks and they always went into a coma and same thing goes for being the cartels. Violence is crazy over there and if they see something they like they will take it.

I've aired down on the freeway to keep from hydroplaning w/only 3mm tread remaining on winter tires
A crucial step that can't be overlooked!
Use a comb next time for that cactus . Stick it behind it and pull it out fast . Arizona trick .

Really great video Guys, been anticipating the Baja footage. Really looking forward to tagging along on this adventure.
