I adopted a Dachshund named Steve who had previously suffered from a broken back. His previous owner did get him the surgery and he is out of his wheelchair, but he needs a comfortable place to rest since he still has pains. Steve just LOVES this bed, so thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial. I used fleece in the center top area and purchased a really nice fluffy pillow and he sleeps the entire night thru now!! :-)

It’s so strange to watch someone sew without constantly doing back stitching beginning and end of every sewn panel. I think I’ve been brainwashed into doing those back stitches every single time I sew. 👀

Thank you for your ideas,i had made.mine but i made it washable that can take out cushion inside if i want to wash and made it with 100% cotton. I made slit for inserting the cushion placed them (4 slit for hotdog cushion like ) inside part of bed when it tried them up each side it cover up the slit. Now i Can make another cover that if i wash it i can chnage and another design. 😊 keep it up and thank you for sharing 😊

I want to make a cover for that type of bed that I can tadd ke off and wash completely. Can you fi actutorisl for that as nd how will I know that you are doing it. Thank yoy
I just made mine. 😉 all you have to do instead of stuffing it. Make a hotdog type for the side and make a slit,so tricky to make slit but it works. 😊
