- This film is a heartfelt tribute to Sri Sai Baba's most beloved devotee Tatya Kote Patil, in which his granddaughter Shobha Dighe, and great granddaughter Sunita Dighe-Kaimal, shed light on the very special bond he shared with Baba from a very young age, and how he was enveloped by Baba’s grace throughout his life.
Tatya and Baba had a very loving relationship. Although outwardly it was playful, their bond was such that Baba is said to have given up his life for Tatya, fulfilling a promise given to his mother Bayaja Ma, that He would always look after her Tatya and that she would have a grand family with several grandchildren.

Come to think of it, after watching Baba’s relationship with Tatya Baba, Baba doesn't want us to see him as God but rather see him as our best friend with whom we can be anything - happy, angry, sad, every honest emotion. We just need to be truthful. I think the journey called life would be simpler with a best friend like Baba by our side, no need of blind devotion.

Thank you Nikhil ji for this beautiful video..what to say overwhelmed listening Baba's love for Tatya..read them in Vinny maa's book...and myself and my daughter use to discuss whom did Baba loved most...my daughter says it's Shyama but to me it's Tatya ..thier love, their bonding are indescribable..and after the chavadi procession they also used to play chess and fight among themselves..all these seems like a dream to me..last month when we visited Shirdi I was searching them in the Dwarkamai.. couldn't control my tears...Baba is parambhahmha but with Tatya he behaved like a child....their love thier quarrels...oh what to say.... blessed are the members of Kote family..my sincere regards to them 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.. Will be grateful if you present a video on Sai Satcharit as you were discussing on the previous podcast 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
