Greetings Sean from California USA. As someone who has also dealt with depression and the subsequent effects from it from early in my teenage years all the way to present day (now in my 40's), I can completely understand the therapeutic benefit that comes from satisfying work such as mowing lawns. I have always enjoyed mowing lawns, even as a child. All my family members knew if I was coming over, don't mow the lawn ahead of time because I was going to ask to do it. It is one of very few activities I can successfully shut off everything else in my mind and focus completely on while doing it. It's also a source of pride, which I think is lacking more and more in our world as time goes on. I also appreciate your use of push mowers instead of the big fancy ride-ons. I grew up on a 5 acre piece of land that I mowed as a kid with a push mower on weekends during Spring and Summer. It's not work if you love doing it. Keep doing your thing mate.

Note: Have never heard you complain. I think the lawns always look great when you're done with them. How does a lawn look "dumb"??? You do a great job Sean.

Watching you line trim is one of my all time favourite things to do. You see mistakes: I see a man who constantly strives for perfection and 99.9% of the time you achieve your goals. You and Tim are, by and far, head and shoulders above the rest. Stay safe during the holidays!

Wish I could show you a photo of my swamp the poor yard man tried mowing yesterday. He’s a great guy. Young, enthusiastic and hardworking. I Made sure he stopped and had an ice cold drink. He had his teenage niece with him earning some pocket money, so they both had to take a breath to drink.
I’m just grateful other people still do this hard work for others, paid or unpaid. My tubby body can’t do it lol

I love that you show the good and the bad. There are tough ones that no one wants and the daily crust earners. Will explain why I do like it. I had a job, 8hr days (530 to 1600) and had older and poorer friends always struggling to get their yards done. After work 4 days a week I mowed and tidied pensioners, disabled and single parents yards. $40 - $60. Push mower, 94 Hilux ute, a little whipper snipper and I took all clippings. After 8 years and a marrage collapse I was injured and could no longer help.
My customer's were friends, now are family, never made more than a few bucks and wouldn't change it.

How you get such a clean cut on that wet or wettish lawn is amazing, you must spend a lot of time sharpening blades achieving that precision.
On a side note, there is one good thing about negative comments and that having them made it must be reassuring to see many people leap to your defence and help you out indirectly with channel engagement. I admire your stoicism and gentleman like replies to these haters, who seem to have to hate. Love your work and I hope the La Nina of this year will help instead of hinder. Top Work!!

As a kid we heard it in TV commercials for Life cereal ‘….this is the cereal that’s shot from guns(boom boom)…. And during the American bicentennial celebration
we heard from The Boston Symphony orchestra and it’s most beloved and well known conductor Arthur Fiedler complete with real cannon fire. It was a very big deal in Boston as the American Revolution began there. A special thanks for the memories.
