Mrs. G's First Grade Morning Meeting- Hit the Floor

- The Morning Meeting has four components: Greeting, Share. Morning Message, and an Activity. Today, we did our Hit The Floor greeting and several students shared with us. During the morning message, students shared "why they feel lucky" and our activity encourages students to model verbs.

Hi! I am a (brand!!!) new teacher in first grade and am trying to make my morning meetings fun and have a lot of variety. I've watched all your videos and think they (and you!) are awesome :) I was wondering if you could list a few greetings you use regularly. I notice that the kids pick which greeting they would like to do. What greetings are they choosing from? I've seen your "french fries" and fist bump, but would love to know the rest! Thank you for any help you can give to a newbie!
