One thing to really note with korpisalo is yes ottawas defense was terrible but he let in the first shot of the game a lot of times and he would be very frequently let in terrible goals that needed to be saves. It was very deflating for the senators when it happened took all the energy out of the team

Kaiden Guhle is the habs best shut down dman right now plays big minutes and just signed a 5.5 million contract for 6 years that will start after this season. The habs are rebuilding and is one of the youngest teams in the league but they have some great young players who will take time to mature but I love how this team is being built. If they stay relatively healthy I think they will surprise a lot of people this year but itll be a few more years before they will be contenders for the cup.
Jake Sanderson didn't regress he went from 33 points to 38 we missed pinto half the season and stutzle was injured the entire season swell as Norris being out.
Do you seriously think Marner is making 13-14M in Toronto?? Matthews makes 13.2, Willie makes 11.5. There's no way he makes more than Willie UNLESS he has the monster playoffs we've all been waiting for.
