I love Disciple Rocks!!! You have to check out "Watch it burn", "Battle Lines", "Dear X", "Once and for all", "The name"... and more.... Great video Leonardo!
Disciple is my favorite band of all time. This is my first visit to your channel because somebody posted this video in a Disciple fan group. Enjoyed your review! So many great Disciple songs to choose from.
I just started watching you today! I have watched a few videos so far and will continue. If you can, a good song to listen to for the lyrics and meaning. Revelation by Third Day, keep doing this, you have a new fan here.
Secret weapon and Dear X as well as Ballad of St Augustine will always have a soft spot in my heart but honestly any song from horseshoe album are bomb
There is a lyrical video of this song showing you every bible verse that is in every verse of this song. Disciple loves to do this with songs like this and also "Eternity" where all the lyrics are scripture. Love your channel brother! May Grace and Peace every be with you!
Disciple is a Christian rock band. This songs lyrics are as if God is singing this song to the listener. Saying "My love is greater than your mistakes."
My favorite band of all time. They have ruled the Christian metal scene since their self titled album. If they weren’t singing about God so much, they would tour with top metal bands around the world. IMO. I appreciate your reviews. Keep them coming.
DUDE- YOU SHOULD SO CHECK OUT THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH! They’re rap rock and super hardcore! Best songs: Be Somebody Any song from Phenomenon album Courtesy Call
ALSO ITD BE SO ENTERTAINING TO SEE YOU REACT TO SUGAR RAY!! Lol they’re secular obvi, but they were really popular in the 90s and they’re actually pretty good, I like them, but they also are made fun of a lot for being a little cringey lol 😂
If you like rock/metal, give Lacey Strums a look. Her album "Life Screams", song "Rot" is about an escape from human trafficking/prostitution/drug abuse. I could recommend a ton more in this genre. There are so many under rated Christian artists out there. Day of Fire, Nine Lashes, Red, Petra (80s-90s rock), many more. If you check those out it will take you down a rabbit hole of new bands.
Disciple is a bit refreshing in today's Christian market in that they (Kevin Young) make no bones about who they are and what their purpose is: definitely a Christian band (not Christians in a band) standing in the world for Christ. Among their peers, its often a radical stance (hence the song Radical). Not that I doubt the sincerity of others, just that few consistently and continually take an such an overt stance (not-so recently disbanded *Sleeping Giant* was another. *Lacey Sturm* is quite outspoken, as well). Musically speaking, probably the "best" is *Red* . Subjective pronouncement, I know. But there's something about their approach to songwriting, namely arrangement and tone, that elevates them from the fold. Having a highly emotive vocalist (which the band admitted in interview would cease to be without) also helps. But, Disciple is definitely up there. Again a list of my favorites: - Red (They do what everyone else does only better) [active] - Falling Up (ambient progessive experimental rock-- if you took Kansas, Brian Eno, and Incubus and mixed well. Josh Shroy is an excellent drummer) [disbanded] - Fireflight (Female fronted rock band with a lot of attitude and heart) [active] - Thousand Foot Krutch (Arena friendly, anthemic rock with a slight hip-hop sensibility) [hiatus] - Plumb (Toned down as of late but hits with lyrical potency) [active] - Sleeping Giant (Hardcore metal praise and worship: Preachcore) [disbanded] - Lacy Sturm (former lead of Flyleaf. Put her marriage and her faith ahead of the band and "retired". Now has own group with her husband. More traditional metal than the "goth" theme of Flyleaf) [active]
Do Josh Garrels, The oh hellos or Ghost ship. Ulysses is my favourite from josh Garrels, Theseus/Eat you alive are my favourites from the oh hellos and Where were you is a great song from Ghost ship
There is a really moving movie I think you may enjoy, and it brings awareness to a modern issue as well. It’s PG-13 made in 2016, it’s called “Priceless” and it’s free right now on TubiTV app, no sign-up necessary. 🙏Please give it a watch, it’s a movie that comes from the SONG “Priceless” by For King And Country. The lead role is one of the vocalists. 🎶🎶❤️ you should react to the song Priceless if you haven’t already!

Ballad of St. Augustine is my personal favorite of theirs. Don't be fooled by the title either.
My favorite band of all time. They have ruled the Christian metal scene since their self titled album. If they weren’t singing about God so much, they would tour with top metal bands around the world. IMO. I appreciate your reviews. Keep them coming.
You have to listen to The blessing (live at home) by Cody Carnes his wife sings with him. So amazing!!
The song is Perfect by Simple Plan :)
Do Tourniquet! Stop the Bleeding is an awesome album!
"You Get What You Pray For" was somewhat "disruptive" when it hit in 1990. And them proceeded to murder the charts for six months.
