I think the reason it is so special and healing is that it talks about experiencing heartache and getting over it. Getting over heartbreak is difficult but not impossible. And the song as well as the album captures this message so well. Like the song goes you “get better day by day”.

Most likely it didn’t do great because of competition, but it actually had the second highest sales out of all the 4 seasons albums and I think every moomoo agrees the song is really good. What matters most is that they were able to share and communicate emotions with moomoos and whoever else listens to it, which is why so many people say it’s one of their favorite title tracks. As long as we continue to show love for the song it’s ok❤️

I knew Wind Flower was special the first time I heard it. I heard Starry Night and Decalcomanie first but Wind Flower is the reason I became a fan just recently. She was 100% hating on how distracting and uncomfortable they were LMAO They definitely can dance (look at Hip), but they are, first and foremost, superb vocalists. Like you, I love their vocal prowess. These queens sound better casually harmonising on a Happy Birthday song, than most idols do in the recording studio.

wind flower is the only title track from the four seasons project that I listen to on a daily basis, cause it just helps me get through the day and feel like not all is lost it's very sad to see it didn't get the recognition it deserved when it was released, but going through the comments I feel comfort in knowing many people feel the same way as I do about this masterpiece of a song

Those who truly understand will be the only ones that could appreciate. It's been 3 years since this gem was brought to the world and I couldn't thank Mamamoo enough for this.

In order to gain more popularity and recognition they deserve, they need to aggressively target an international audience. More than 80% of the comments are in English, which proves that your larger fan group locate outside S. Korea. Why is English subtitle not here, focusing on only a small group of fans in S. Korea. Please, write and sing in English once in a while. Test your limitation and expand your possibility!!!! You never know what the outcome would be.
its really hard for their company to promote mmm overseas since they dont really have those type of connections. if they did I think they would have done it back in 2017-2019 era becos tahts when mmm were the most active an popular. they have gone overseas to hold fanmeets in brazil, jakarta and various other places around asia i believe but in terms of international cities and international status its really hard for them to breakthrough. a good example is a group like blackpink - they do so well overseas (that some say its thanks to themselves not their company etc) esp in usa/NA is also becos their members can also speak english and communicate decently w their fans there. Their company has good relations with overseas media groups to help them promote the group and get their feet on the ground too. they actually aren't as popular in s korea becos the market is already so saturated and full of every type of idol g group... if u think about it there arent many s korean groups or singers who have made a good international debuts (BoA is probably the best example) for many reasons but the main thing is still language barriers and companies not having those connections to create overseas opportunities (BTS being another good example some of them are basically American /canadian korean). its costs a lot of money to invest into overseas activities as well. blackpink performed at coachella and has worked with various overseas artists which is huge for their popularity and their song style matches those audiences over there a little more however mmm has not really done a lot of collabs since they are already a group so its hard to break from that and juggling priorities while producing songs. hwa sa is a good example though - her solo album went to #1 (rel 2019) its staggeringly successful and has been popular overseas as well. she was acknowledged well by dua lipa and been called beyonce of korea etc which is insanely cool shes getting really good at creating her style of music and knowing what she wants. its also an industry thing - boy groups v girl groups have very diff standards and fanbases. so depending on their media company they will try to see how they can milk money off the fans as well...
윈드플라워 진짜 명곡이었는데... 이 엄청난 명곡이 빛을 보지 못한 이유는 솔직히 외적인 이유가 더 크다고 봅니다. 휘인이랑 화사 메이크업도 많이 파격적이었고, 코디도 좀... 가장 암흑기가 아니었나 싶은ㅠㅠ 안무도 댄서 넷이랑 함께했었는데 좀 산만한 구석이 있었고 노래는 정말 좋았지만 그 외적인 요소들이 받쳐주지 못해서 시너지를 일으키지 못했고 무대가 관심을 못받으니 자연스레 음원성적도 좋지 못했죠ㅠㅠ 그치만 매년 가을마다 찾아듣게 되는 곡이고 수록곡 중 솔라솔로인 hello도 너무너무 좋아하는 노래라서 소중한 앨범이니 마냥 빛을 못봤다고만 생각할 필요 없어요! wind flower 아픈손가락 아니고 자랑스럽고 뿌듯한 손가락입니다!
@@Eievuy no i think the backtracks they mean is the vocal doubling. Mnet (sk shows in general) usually does this for the "perfect effect" so if the singer makes a mistake, it's "saved" by the backtrack. This is so unnecessary and annoying tbh because it's mamamoo :/

이 노래는 제가 가장 좋아하는 마마무 노래 중 하나입니다. 슬프지만 낙천적인 노래이고, 이 노래의 연주 방식이 너무 좋아요. 그리고 솔라가 노래를 부르면서 피아노를 연주하는 것은 이 공연을 더욱 특별하게 만들었습니다.

its really hard for their company to promote mmm overseas since they dont really have those type of connections. if they did I think they would have done it back in 2017-2019 era becos tahts when mmm were the most active an popular. they have gone overseas to hold fanmeets in brazil, jakarta and various other places around asia i believe but in terms of international cities and international status its really hard for them to breakthrough. a good example is a group like blackpink - they do so well overseas (that some say its thanks to themselves not their company etc) esp in usa/NA is also becos their members can also speak english and communicate decently w their fans there. Their company has good relations with overseas media groups to help them promote the group and get their feet on the ground too. they actually aren't as popular in s korea becos the market is already so saturated and full of every type of idol g group... if u think about it there arent many s korean groups or singers who have made a good international debuts (BoA is probably the best example) for many reasons but the main thing is still language barriers and companies not having those connections to create overseas opportunities (BTS being another good example some of them are basically American /canadian korean). its costs a lot of money to invest into overseas activities as well. blackpink performed at coachella and has worked with various overseas artists which is huge for their popularity and their song style matches those audiences over there a little more however mmm has not really done a lot of collabs since they are already a group so its hard to break from that and juggling priorities while producing songs. hwa sa is a good example though - her solo album went to #1 (rel 2019) its staggeringly successful and has been popular overseas as well. she was acknowledged well by dua lipa and been called beyonce of korea etc which is insanely cool shes getting really good at creating her style of music and knowing what she wants. its also an industry thing - boy groups v girl groups have very diff standards and fanbases. so depending on their media company they will try to see how they can milk money off the fans as well...

윈드플라워 진짜 명곡이었는데... 이 엄청난 명곡이 빛을 보지 못한 이유는 솔직히 외적인 이유가 더 크다고 봅니다. 휘인이랑 화사 메이크업도 많이 파격적이었고, 코디도 좀... 가장 암흑기가 아니었나 싶은ㅠㅠ 안무도 댄서 넷이랑 함께했었는데 좀 산만한 구석이 있었고 노래는 정말 좋았지만 그 외적인 요소들이 받쳐주지 못해서 시너지를 일으키지 못했고 무대가 관심을 못받으니 자연스레 음원성적도 좋지 못했죠ㅠㅠ 그치만 매년 가을마다 찾아듣게 되는 곡이고 수록곡 중 솔라솔로인 hello도 너무너무 좋아하는 노래라서 소중한 앨범이니 마냥 빛을 못봤다고만 생각할 필요 없어요! wind flower 아픈손가락 아니고 자랑스럽고 뿌듯한 손가락입니다!

@@Eievuy no i think the backtracks they mean is the vocal doubling. Mnet (sk shows in general) usually does this for the "perfect effect" so if the singer makes a mistake, it's "saved" by the backtrack. This is so unnecessary and annoying tbh because it's mamamoo :/
