As requested I would like to compare these two hobo style bags from Celine and Bottega Veneta.
I will show what they fit, pro's and con's and review.

How did you know I'm deciding between these two? 😅 I LOVE LOVE LOVE my small black Jodie (like yours)-so much that I wouldn't mind having another one. I owned and sold the large tan Celine Romy because it felt too big and sloppy, plus I felt the leather was easily getting marked and dirty. The Celine Heloise looks neater and a little smaller than the Romy, so it might work better for me, but I'm looking at the leather version, not the canvas, so I might end up with the same issues as the Romy. I'm so torn over which one will better fill the gap in my wardrobe for a large, tan everyday bag. Thanks for this video, though! Both are beautiful.
I am glad the video was helpful!😊 💞 I totally understand the big love for Jodie I also want another one as well. I also looked and tried the Celine Romy and didn’t like the sloppy look. The leather version of Heloise is very delicate but I loved it. I had to get the canvas version since I wanted an everyday worry free bag. But sometimes I wish I got the leather version since it is as nice as the Jodie. Have you seen the Toteme belt hobo bag in tan? I am thinking of adding that as a brown leather tote. Looks nice. 😉

I just found your channel searching for reviews on the Celine Heloise. Thank you for the great information! I was thinking of getting the leather version too but also worry about the leather and had the same thought about the large triomphe logo, like would I get tired of it because it's so big (despite liking it). I think that you've sold me on the canvas version, actually. it is more subtle.

IThanks for this video. Very good comparison. However, I do not think many people buy Bottega Veneta or Celine bags. Let’s be honest. We are bag lovers and we buy these bags. I believe the the Jodie is in another level, but both houses are amazing and make great bags, so it is really depends on what you are looking for.

Does the jodie stays on your shoulder? I tried it on and it’s just slipping off my shoulder but I like it a lot.
It does slip off on me as well but it doesn’t stop me loving and wearing it 😉

How tall are you? I’m 5’3 and love the Celine but do you think it would be too big for my petite frame?
I am 5.7. The bag is a medium size bag and I think it would work for petite frame.

The jodie is more street style chic. The Celine bag looks more like traditional canvas luxury….like an alternative to the hobo style graceful bag that LV released years ago. It’s just “meh” imo.
