it's based on the one-shot spin-off manga that goes by the same name.
But just to clarify... Incase you're curious about a subbed version, one doesn't exist, as far as I know. However, BNHA: World Heroes Mission is getting released on DVD/Blu-ray (in the United States) sometime in August (will be on shelves as of the 23rd). Since this OVA was adapted into the DVD/Blu-ray releases in Japan (hence why the linked one is a RAW copy), I'm gonna assume the US releases will get their own adaption, but PROBABLY english subbed. I can't be entirely sure 🤷 that's just me taking a wild guess, but it's definitely more likely than the OVA ever getting dubbed since that seems to RARELY happen.

hmm, so evidently Hawks doesn't have talons. I saw some headcanon that he does and I was curious because he does wear those gloves all the time so you can't tell but here he isn't wearing gloves so yeah I guess he doesn't have talons lol.
